COUNT / BATCH
Used to select the specific operating
mode, either 1. COUNT or 2. BATCH.
1. COUNT mode (green LED on)
The equipment counts all the coins
deposited into the hopper
continuously until the hopper is
empty.
When new coins are placed into the

2. BATCH mode (green LED off, P appears on the screen)
The user must press the BATCH button and set the desired number
before beginning the count. The equipment will stop every time the
specific batch quantity is reached. The top portion of the screen will
show the number of coins counted, and the bottom portion will show
the batch quantity set up by the operator. "P" will blink every time the
batch is reached. The counting operation will resume by pressing START.
Batch Keys +1000 / +100 / +10 / +1
These keys are used to set up the desired Batch quantity. Tapping the
specific key will add up that specific quantity to the Batch. For example, if
the operator needs to set up a batch of 2,525 coins, he/she must
proceed as follows:
- Tap the key “+1000” twice, the display will show 2000
- Tap the key “+100” five times, the display will show 2500
- Tap the key “+10” two times, the display will show 2520
- Tap the key “+1” five times, the display will finally show 2525
To clear the batch and go back to zero, simply tap every digit to reach

The total result is shown on the top portion of the screen. This applies to
both COUNT and BATCH operational modes.
The LAST count carried out during the adding operation can be verified
by maintaining the "MEM" key pressed down with the ADD function
active (green LED on). The bottom portion of the screen will show "c xxx"
where "xxx" is the last quantity of coins added up to the current total.

Press the "+1" key while holding down the "C" key to clear to zero the
counting information.

14

operation). The screen shows "C xxx".

The "ADD/LAST" LED indicator must be off. Press the MEM key to show
the information on the top portion of the screen. The display will show
"A xxx" where "xxx" will be the total quantity of coins counted up to that
point by the equipment.

Thickness and Diameter coin selectors
Before beginning with the counting operation, the user must set up the
specific thickness and diameter for the coin intended to count.

16
4. Operation (cont.)
Proceed to adjust the Thickness and the Diameter knobs considering
this:
a. The circular labels show the specific positions for USD coins (D-dimes
/ P-pennies / N-nickel / Q- quarter / $- $1 coin / H- half dollar).
b. The labels include also marks in millimeters (1 mm steps) as
reference for any other coin size from other countries or tokens.
c. Coins with smaller sizes than the one set up will be rejected.
d. Avoid larger coins than the one set up as this could cause jamming.

17
4. Operation (cont.)
4.1 Basic Counting Operation
