Thank ou for purchasing an ADE digital scale. Please read this instruction manual carefull
before first use. Keep these instructions for future use.
Initial Setup and Battery Replacement
•This scale operates on one CR2032 batter (included).
•To install the included batter : pull the batter holder out of the bottom left side
of the scale. Insert the batter according to polarit and re-insert the batter
holder into the scale.

•Within 3 seconds of inserting the batter : ou will hear a beep and the screen will
displa “hello”.
Powering On/Off
•Hold the scale in the vertical position.
•Turn on the scale b pressing the black ON/OFF button on the top left of the
scale. The scale will beep and the screen will displa “hello”.
•The scale will beep a second time and the displa will show 0g or 0.0lb/oz. The
scale is now read for use.
•This scale is equipped with an auto-off feature to conserve batter power. The
unit will turn off automaticall after being idle for 1 minute.
•Turn the scale off manuall b pressing the ON/OFF button.
Weight and Volume Measurement
•Press the black ON/OFF button while the screen shows “hello” to change the
desired unit of measure (kg to lb/ lb to kg)
Instructions for Use
•While the scale is on and the screen displa s 0.0 lb/kg: Unclip the strap on the
bottom of the scale and re-attach around our luggage handle.
•Use the scale handle to lift our luggage off the ground.
•As soon as the weight is stable, a beep will sound and the weight will be displa
with the letter “H” (hold).
•You can now set our luggage back on the ground and comfortabl read the
weight.
•To weigh additional luggage: push the ON/OFF button. Once the scale beeps and
the displa shows 0.0 lb/ kg ou are read to weigh our next piece of luggage.

Hang the first item ou would like to weigh on the scale. After the scale beeps and displa s
the weight with the letter “H”, press the ON/OFF button while our luggage is still lifted off
the ground to reset the scale to zero. One the displa again reads zero ou can place the
items ou would like to tare into the container. The scale will at this point weigh onl the
items in the container and not the container itself. This process can be repeated until the
scale reaches its maximum capacit of 121 lbs/55 kg.
Error Messages
Lo = low batter indicator, replace with new batter (1 x CR2032).
Err = the scale is overloaded. Immediatel remove weight from the scale to prevent
damage.

Batteries must not dispose as of household waste. The law requires that ou, as consumer,
return the waste batteries either to public collection points in our town or village or to
an outlet selling batteries of the same kind.
Batteries are marked as follows:
Li = Batter contains Lithium
Al = Batter contains Alkali
Mn = Batter contains Manganese
CR (Li); A (Al, Mn); AA (Al, Mn); AAA (Al, Mn)
Disposal of old electrical and electronic equipment
This s mbol on the product or on its packaging
indicates that this product shall not be treating as
household waste. Instead, it shall be handed over to
the applicable collection point for rec cling of electrical
and electronic equipment. For more detailed
information’s about rec cling please contact our local
cit office, our household waste disposal service or
the shop where ou purchased the product.

ADE warrants for a period of 3 ears from the date of purchase that it will remed an
defects due to fault material or workmanship free of charge b repair or replacement.

(or 704.329.5100) between 9:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mo - Fri EST before returning the scale.
