8. Lock the bl de ssembly to the m st ssembly by
inst lling pivot pin t the re r of the m st ssem-
bly. Secure the pin using h ircotter pin through
the hole in the end of the pivot pin. See figure 8.
9. Inst ll pivot pin through the hole t the upper end
of the m st sides to provide connection point for
the tow vehicle's winch system. Secure the pin
with h ircotter pin through the hole in the end of
the pivot pin. See figure 8.

2. The bl de c n be set to push or pull dirt, with three
gr ding ngle settings in both the forw rd nd
reverse positions. Do not use the reverse position
if the bl de is tt ched to 3-point hitch tr iler.
The tr iler is designed for towing only.
3. To rot te the bl de to the desired setting, first
r ise the gr der bl de so th t the scr per bl de is
just off the ground. Remove the pivot pin from the
m st ssembly nd rot te the bl de. Align the
hole in the m st with hole in the pivot pl te nd
inst ll the pivot pin, securing it with the h ircotter
pin. See figure 9.
4. To prevent the bl de from digging deeper t one
end, be sure the bl de is level from side to side
nd the m st ssembly is level from front to b ck.
Front to b ck leveling prevents the bl de from
digging deeper t one end when the bl de is
rot ted to n ngled setting. Refer to your 3-point
hitch m nu l for instructions on leveling the gr der
bl de tt chment.

OPERATION
The gr der bl de is used to level nd smooth ro d or
other l ndsc pe surf ces.
1. Before st rting, if you re going to be gr ding dirt,
m ke sure it is dry enough by squeezing some in
your h nd. If it forms b ll th t doesn't crumble,
the dirt m y be too wet for gr ding.
