4.0 Use of the Walking Frame
Pleaseensurethatyouhavethoroughlyreadandunderstoodalloftheinstruconsandsafety
consideraonsinthisUserManual.
4.1 Pre-use Checks
Priortoeach useitis essenalthatthewalkingframeisvisually checked fordamage. Thisincludes the
framework,securityofthebolts,condionofferrulesandwheels.Shoulddamagebeseenorsuspectedthe
walkingframemustNOTbeusedandyoujshouldcontactyouequipmentprovider.
4.2 Height Adjustment
WARNING Itisessenalthatalllegsareadjustedtothesameheight.
RemovetheEclipfromtheextensionlegandextendalllegsevenlytothedesiredheightensuringthatyou
donotexceedthelastpunchedholeoftheextensionleg(seeg.1).
Onceatthedesiredheight,reinstalltheEclipensuringthatithaspassedthroughtheextensionlegandthat
ittsneatlyandsnuglyaroundtheoutsideleg.(seeg.2)

4.3 Using the Walking Frame
Priortousepleaseensurethatyouhavereadandunderstoodallofthesafetyconsideraonsin

Geng into and out of chairs
WARNING Neverusethewalkingframetopullyouupintoastandingposion.Thewalkingframeis
NOTatransferaid.
1. Posiontheframeinfrontofthechair.
2. Get up by pushing on the arms of the chair and transfer hands to frame when fully standing.
3. Tosit,usingtheframewalkbackunlyoufeelthechairatthebackofyourlegs.
4. Placehandsgentlyonthechairarms,bendslightlyforwardsandsitgently.

Inaddiontopre-usechecksdetailedinsecon2,inordertoensurethatyourwalkingframeremainssafe
andreliable,acareandmaintenancescheduleshouldbeestablished.

joints

and securely hold E clips in place
• Checkferrules(rubberps)forwearordamage

5.2 Cleaning & Disinfecon
Alloftheproductcomponentsaremanufacturedfromqualitymaterials.However,itisveryimportantthat
youonlycleanyourwalkingframeusinganon-abrasivecleanerormilddetergentandasocloth.Avoid
usinglimescaleremover;abrasivecleaners(e.gCIF)andabrasivecleaningpads,allofwhichmayseriously
damage the wlaking frame.

2. Theproductwillbereplacedduringthewarrantyperiodfreeofcharge,providedtheproducthasbeen
used strictly in accordance with the guidelines set out in this user guide.
3. Ourwarrantydoesnotcoverreplacements,adjustmentsorrepairswhichmayberequiredasaresultof
