Warranties
This product has undergone various quality controls to ensure proper
operation.
This product is covered by a two-year warranty for countries inside European
Union. For other countries, the warranty period is one year only. In the
event of any manufacturing fault or breakdown, it will be repaired by OvisLink
Corp. Please contact your supplier for details on the procedure to follow.
This warranty shall not be applicable in the event of damage caused by
improper use of the product, accidents, faulty handling or manipulation nor
any future incompatibility with third party products.

Hotspot Connecting Example
WAN: Connects to Internet or Intranet.
LAN1/LAN2: Connects to the open network environment. It can be
chosen to require or not require authentication to access
network resources and Internet.
LAN3/LAN4: Connects to the trusted Internet network.
Authentication is not required to access network
resources.
Console: Configures the system via Hyper Terminal.
Reset: Press this button to restart the system.
DC Power: The power adaptor is attached here.

WIAS-1200G used in the hotspot environment is usually connected to
the Internet through ADSL. Please refer to the following diagram for
connecting WIAS-1200G with an ADSL modem.

After completing the hardware installation and successfully logging into the
web management interface, click the System Configuration from the top
menu and Run Wizard to begin the Configuration Wizard.
STEP 1: Change Admin’s Password

STEP 3: Set System Information
yHome Page: Enter the URL that clients should be initially redirected to
after being successfully authenticated to the network.
yNTP Server: Enter the URL of the external time server for
WIAS-1200G time synchronization or use the default.
yDNS Server: Enter a DNS Server provided by your ISP (Internet
Service Provider). Contact your ISP if you are not sure
of the DNS IP Address.

Enter the Username (e.g. test), Password (e.g. test), and MAC (optional).
Assign a policy to add this particular local user.

STEP 6: Set Wireless – Access Point Connection
ySSID: Enter a SSID (up to 32 characters) for the system.
yTransmission Mode: It supports two transmission modes:
802.11b and 802.11 (b+g).
yChannel: If the default channel is occupied by many other APs, it is
necessary to select another channel from the Channel field
for a better performance.
STEP 7: Save and Restart AirLive WIAS-1200G
Now the basic configuration for Hotspot environment has been finished!
User PC connects to Public Port or Wireless interface of WIAS-1200G to
obtain an IP address automatically. After the IP address is obtained,
launch an Internet browser and link to any website. The User Login Page
will appear.
Key-in the username and password (e.g. test@Local for the username
and test for the password) or from on-demand user account, click Submit
to connect to the network.
