AirLive WL-5460APv2 Installation guide

Q: I have a remote AP ,how to extend the coverage of the remote AP by
WL-5460APv2?
A: Please get into the web management of WL-5460APv2 and set WL-5460AP2 as
Universal epeater mode.
When you configure WL-5460APv2 as Universal epeater mode, WL-5460APv2 could
connect to the remote AP with AP mode.
While WL-5460APv2 and the emote AP are connected, they must meet the
followings:
1. WL-5460APv2 support 802.11b+g mode, so emote AP should also support
802.11b/g mode.
2. The Channel and security setting of WL-5460APv2 is the same as the emote AP.
3. The SSID of Extended Interface is also the same as the emote AP
Please follow the following to connect WL-5460APv2 to emote AP:
1. Please power on WL-5460APv2 and connect your PC to the LAN port 1 of
WL-5460APv2 wired.
2. Please get into the web management of WL-5460APv2.
3. Please set WL-5460APv2 as Universal epeater mode and set the security
settings as the same as emote AP .

4. Please use the Site Survey function to connect the SSID of emote AP from the
SSID table.
5. If WL-5460AP2 connect to the remote AP successfully, it would show the below
picture:
6. After you connect WL-5460APv2 to emote AP successfully, please connect
wireless client to the SSID of WL-5460AP.
