USING YOUR APPLIANCE
POWERING ON:
The Portable Radio can be powered
through 4 x C batteries or using the power
adaptor.
Once the unit has been powered up, press
the POWER button to turn it on.
BATTERIES:
• Open the battery compartment
located at the back of the Portable
Radio and place 4 x size ‘C’ batteries
(not included), taking care not to
reverse the poles. Close the battery
compartment.
POWER ADAPTOR:
• Insert one end of the power adaptor
into the DC jack on the back of the
Portable Radio. Plug the other end of
the adaptor in at the mains and turn
on. To switch off completely, unplug
the power cord from the wall outlet.
CONTROLS:
Play/Pause: Press to play or pause
playback.
Stop: Press to stop playback.
Prev: Press to skip to the previous
song. Long press to rewind.
Next: Press to skip to the next song.
Long press to fast forward.
Function: Press to change modes (USB/
SD, AUX and RADIO modes).
In radio mode, press to
change between FM and AM.
RADIO:
1. Turn the Portable Radio on.
2. Press the function button to select
RADIO mode.
3. When you have selected RADIO mode,
press the function button to change
between FM and AM.
4. Rotate the volume control dial to
adjust the volume.
5. Rotate the tuning dial to adjust the
radio frequency.
6. Extend the antenna to its full length
when on FM mode.
AUX-IN:
1. Connect an AUX cable (not included) to
the AUX-IN jack of the Portable Radio.
Connect the other end to your external
device.
2. Press the function button to select
AUX mode.
3. Select and play songs from your
external device. The sound will be
played through the speakers of the
radio.
4. Rotate the volume control dial to
adjust the volume.
USB/SD:
1. Insert your USB or SD card into
the corresponding port/slot on the
Portable Radio.
2. Press the function button to select
USB/SD mode.
3. Use the buttons on the Portable Radio
to control playback.
STANDBY:
1. The Portable Radio will switch to
standby mode if it is left idle on the
AUX or USB/SD modes for over 10
minutes.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Always disconnect the Portable Radio
from the power supply and/or remove
the batteries before cleaning.
2. Clean the Portable Radio with a soft,
damp, lint free cloth.
3. Do not use abrasives or harsh
cleaners.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART OF
THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS MOTOR
UNITS OR PLUGS.

FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.

TROUBLESHOOTING
No sound/Power. Volume turned down.
Power cord not securely
connected.
Batteries dead/incorrectly
inserted.
Adjust the volume using the
volume dial.
Reconnect the power cord.
Remove the batteries and
re-insert. If it still does not work,
insert fresh batteries.
No radio signal. Antenna not adjusted/no
frequency.
When listening to FM radio,
ensure the antenna is fully
adjusted.
Use the tuning dial to adjust the
radio frequency.
