Original Instructions
The MobileView™ 2711T family of human machine interface (HMI) terminals include a 3-position enable switch, touch and function keys, and stop push buttons. These features allow operator access to the safety system of a machine
and the general interface to its control system. All three available lengths of connection cables feature a ‘quick connect’ connector to the junction box, andthe two optional mounting brackets provide convenient storage of the
terminal and cable.

Power Supply
Install the Junction Box
Each junction box is shipped with publication 2711T-DS002, MobileView Tethered Operator Terminal Junction Box
Mounting Template. Use this template to drill holes to mount the junction box insidea control cabinet. See
publication 2711T-UM001 for more information about the junction box terminals, associated wiring, and
termination.
Attach the Junction Box Cap
A cap is provided to cover the junction box opening when the cable is not
connected. The cap protects the opening and its pin connections from
environmental elements. Use one of the two bottom mounting screws to attach the
tethered cable of the cap to the control cabinet.
Install the Mounting Bracket
There are two optional mounting brackets. Each mounting bracket is shipped with a
template. Use this template to drill holes to install the bracket. See Additional
Resources on page 2 for more information about the available mounting bracket
templates.
Connect the Connection Cable
Use the red dots on the cable connector and the junction box to
align and correctly insert the cable into the junction box.
