1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1. PURPOSE OF THE MANUAL
•This manual has been prepared by the machine manufacturer and it is an integral part of the documentation that comes with
the machine.
•In this manual you can find detailed and precise explanations regarding the correct use of the machine, and it also
establishes correct machine application and its limits.
•To guarantee the safety of people using the machine, working economy and longer durability, you must follow the instructions
given in this manual at all times.
•The manual has been divided into various sections. Consulting the index makes searching for specific topics easier.
•The illustrations in this manual are indicative. Even if you notice a difference with the machine you possess, safety and
information are still fully guaranteed.
•To continue its policy of constant development and updating, the manufacturer can modify the manual without prior warning.

1.3. MACHINE IDENTIFICATION
At the 3 points of connection to the tractor is placed the identification plate of the machine bearing the following data:
1. Model of the machine
2. Serial number
3. Maximum weight of the machine
4. Costruction year [es: 1305 = 13 (2013) + 05 (may)]
The specified weight refers to the machine provided with the
accessories.

2. GUARANTEE
When delivered, make sure that the machine and its accessories have not been damaged during transportation.
Any complaints should be made to the retailer in writing within 6 days from delivery.
2.1. GUARANTEE FORFEITURE
The guarantee is immediately rendered null and void:
•if there is a manoeuvring error
•if a shank safety screw that does not correspond to the requested needs is used
•if the power limit established by the manufacturer is exceeded (see table 3.2)
•if the instructions described in this manual are not followed
•if non-original spare parts are used
•if any modification is made to the machine without prior authorisation by the manufacturer.
3. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
3.1. MACHINE DESCRIPTION
This machine is suitable for working agricultural soil. It is very compact, so it is perfect for working with another machine behind it,
e.g. a harrow or tiller, to make clods even smaller.
The machine lifts the ground without mixing the layers, which makes using a combined machine easier (harrow or tiller). It
increases soil crumbling, giving a perfect sowing bed in just one run.
It can be used wherever the soil is crumbly enough to pass through the shanks without blocking them, and also in previously
worked soil where the amount of grass or residues are small enough to pass through the shanks in the same manner.
Apply it to tractors with a three point hitch that has the characteristics indicated in table 3.2 of the technical information section.

4. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
4.1. SAFETY REGULATIONS
•Read the user and maintenance manuals carefully before starting, using and carrying out maintenance on the equipment.
•The producer cannot be held responsible for injury caused to people and animals or damage caused to things because the
safety regulations have not been observed by the user.
•The machine cannot be used for purposes other than those expressly indicated in this manual.
•Carefully examine the adhesive labels on the machine and make sure you follow their indications.
•You should always wear clothes that protect the body with no hanging parts that could get stuck in moving components.
Remove watches, rings, necklaces, etc. that could cause injury in dangerous situations.
•Always use the safety shoes recommended by current accident prevention regulations.
•Always use working gloves when assembling the machine and carrying out maintenance.
•When carrying out manoeuvres do not allow people or animals to enter the working area of the machine.
•While working do not allow people, animals and other such things to approach the working range of the sods and stones that
are being thrown out by the machine.
•Do not allow other people to get on the tractor when you are working on the machine.
•You must always remain seated in the tractor driving seat. Only leave the driving seat when the handbrake has been pulled
on.
•During working stops switch off the motor, place the machine on the ground and pull on the tractor handbrake.
•Never work if the guards have been removed.
•The cardan shaft guard should always be in good condition. It should be checked periodically and fixed with the chains to
stop its rotation.

•Always disengage the Power Takeoff when the cardan shaft
exceeds an angle of 15° (see figure).
•Never use the machine to transport people, animals or things.
•Never work on ground or in areas that could compromise machine stability.
•When circulating on the road, it is necessary to follow the Highway Code of the country where the machine is being used.
•Never allow unauthorised people to carry out maintenance or tamper with the machine in any way.
•Make sure that maintenance and repairs are carried out in suitable and well equipped workshops.
•Always use original accessories and spare parts. If originals are not used, the guarantee is rendered null and void, and
machine safety can be at risk because of incorrect operation.
4.2. CLOTHING
Always wear safety gear and clothes. Make sure no dangling parts are present as they may get caught in moving parts.
For the same reasons please always remove watches, rings, necklaces, wristbands etc. Long hair may be a danger as well,
please keep them tied.

4.3. EXPLANATION OF THE SYMBOLS ON THE LABELS
The stickers on the machine point out the sources of danger. Observe them carefully and follow the instructions to use the
machine safely. If the stickers become damaged, they should be replaced.

5. INSTALLATION
5.1. LIFTING
The machine should be lifted and transported with
the right means, suitable for its weight, and by
personnel trained in this kind of work. Hook the
machine in the points shown in the figure and
proceed with transportation. The loads should not be
lifted by more than 200 mm from the ground while
carrying out these operations.
5.2. CONNECTING TO THE TRACTOR
The machine can be connected with category 2 and 3 hitches. It is important to check the weight on the axes. If necessary,
ballast the tractor front, above all if a machine is to be connected to the rear (rotating harrow or tiller).
Make sure that the tractor is suitable fore being coupled to the machine, then move closer towards it to connect the three points.
Switch off the motor, pull the handbrake on then get off the tractor and get ready to connect the three points.

To connect the lower arms, follow the instructions below and refer
to the drawing on the right:
a) Remove screws A and bolts B.
b) Remove pins C
c) Insert the detent into the spaces D
d) Reposition the pins C the screws A and the bolts B. Select the
most suitable hole for the tractor lifting capacity
e) use the same procedure to place the third point tie rod, which is
on the tractor, into hole E.
5.3. POSITIONING CATEGORY 2 OR 3 HITCHES
The machine has category 2 and 3 connections. The
connecting pins should be positioned as shown in the
figure, and in accordance with the tractor connection
category.
Follow all the safety instructions given in paragraph 4 of this manual, and carefully read the
documentation that tells you how to use the tractor.
When the machine has been connected to the tractor, activate lifting then get ready to couple it
with a rotating harrow or a tiller.

5.1. COUPLING WITH A ROTATING HARROW OR TILLER
There is a three point hitch at the back of the machine for connecting a rotating harrow or a tiller.
Connect the lower arms of the rotating harrow or the tiller to the 2 lower connections A, then
choose one of the three available holes so that you obtain the correct working depth (see section
6).
Insert the third point into the hole B, then connect one of the cardan joints indicated in section
5.5 below to the rotating harrow or the tiller.

6. USE
When you have finished carrying out the instructions given in section 5,
you must regulate the working depth while the machine is connected to a
harrow or tiller.
You should regulate the working depth of the machine so that the
ploughshares work just below the blades or tines of the connected
machine.
You can regulate the working depth by positioning the shank in one of the
holes B.
Start working at a slow speed and lower the shanks into the ground until
you reach the working depth you need.
Now select the forward speed according to the ground being worked and
the available power.
7. TESTS AND CHECKS
During the first 50 working hours it is a good idea to check the tightness of the bolts on a regular basis. If necessary, tighten the
bolts as indicated in the table below.
After the first time, check bolt tightness every 200 working hours and if necessary tighten them again.

8. UNCOUPLING AND END OF SEASON OPERATIONS
When you finish working, place the Delta and the machine connected to it on the ground, then uncouple them
from the tractor. The cardan should be on its support (ref. H section 3 ).
The ground you place the machine on must be solid enough to support it.
9. SPARE PARTS
The ploughshare on the shank point wears very easily and should be replaced before the shaft body also becomes worn. You
can find the spare parts codes in the table below.

10. ACCESSORIES
There are many accessories for the machine. You must remember that each time one is added
the machine weights change, therefore make sure that tractor stability is not compromised.
