• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not expose the charger to rain or
moisture. For indoor use only.
• Remove from mains when not in use.
• Never use an extension cord or any
attachment not recommended by the
manufacturer, as this may result in a risk of
fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• Do not operate the charger if it has been
subjected to shock or damage. Take it to a
qualified serviceman for repair.
• Do not disassemble the charger. Incorrect
reassembly may result in a risk of electric
shock or fire.
• Unplug the charger from the mains before
attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
Use a damp cloth to clean the surface, do
not immerse in water.
• Before disposing of your charger, remove
the batteries from the unit and dispose of
them safely.

Intended Use
The Battery Charger with USB Output quickly and efficiently charges all AA or AAA
nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries. The built-in high efficiency switching-
type power supply adjusts automatically to any voltage between 100 – 240 V AC, for
international use.
Before First Use
• Check for transport damages.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage
and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product
rating label.
Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children
– these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Operation
Batteries (if included) are not charged upon shipping. They must be
charged prior to first use.
Charge only Ni-MH type rechargeable batteries in this charger.
Batteries may leak or explode causing personal injury if inserted improperly,
disposed of in fire, mixed with other battery types, or short-circuited.
1. Insert 2 or 4 AA/AAA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries into the battery compartment;
batteries must be charged in pairs. For charging only 2 cells, insert the batteries in the
left or right side of the charging terminal (Figure 1) and (Figure 2).
2. Make correct contact as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside each
compartment.
3. Charge either AA or AAA sizes at a time. Do not mix battery sizes when charging.
4. Plug the charger into a standard AC mains outlet. The Green USB status LED will light within
10seconds, the Green USB status LED will turn off and the Red LED will glow for each
slot where a battery is charging. The LED lights to show that the batteries are charging.
5. When the batteries are fully charged, the Red LED will turn off to indicate that the charge
is completed and batteries are ready for use. When the Green LED light is on, the USB
port is ready for use.

6. Once the batteries are fully charged or the charger is not in use, unplug the charger from
the mains outlet and remove the batteries.
7. Begin again at Step 1 to charge the next set of batteries.
The USB charge port takes priority over charging AA/AAA batteries. If
you have batteries inserted for charging and a device is plugged into the
USB port, charging of the AA/AAA batteries will be halted until the USB
port is no longer in use. Once the USB device is fully charged and stops
using power or it is unplugged from the USB port, the AA/AAA batteries
will resume charging automatically. The Green LED indicates when the
USB port is in use or available for use. The port has a maximum output
of 500mA. Do not attempt to overload the USB port or damage to the
charger or USB device may result.
Bad Cell Detection
When the charge process is started, the charger will detect the batteries. If the batteries are
not suitable for charging (i.e. short-circuit or reversed polarity) the LED will start FLASHING
rapidly. The damaged batteries should be removed and properly disposed of.
Attention
1) This charger is designed to charge 2 or 4 batteries. 1 or 3 batteries will not get charged.
2) To charge only 2 batteries, the batteries will not get charged when placed in the below
charging slots:

3) To protect your charger & batteries
When installing battery for charging, make sure to insert the negative(-) terminal of battery
first, then press the top of battery to connect the positive(+) contact plate. Incorrect
direction to install the battery will cause damage to the negative terminal of the charger and
the battery sleeve.

automatiquement à toute tension comprise entre 100 et 240V CA.
Avant La Première Utilisation
• Vérifiez que le produit ne présente aucun dommage dû au transport.
• Avant de brancher le produit sur la source d’alimentation électrique, vérifiez que la
tension de la source d’alimentation électrique et la tension nominale correspondent aux
spécifications d’alimentation figurant sur la plaque signalétique du produit.

Utilisation
Les piles (si incluses) ne sont pas chargées à l'expédition. Elles
doivent être rechargées avant leur première utilisation.
Chargez uniquement des piles rechargeables de type Ni-MH
dans ce chargeur.
Les piles peuvent fuir ou exploser, causant des blessures
corporelles, si elles sont mal insérées, jetées au feu, mélangées à
d'autres types de piles ou court-circuitées.
1. Insérez 2 ou 4piles rechargeables AA/AAA NI-MH dans le compartiment à piles; les
piles doivent être chargées par paire. Pour recharger seulement 2piles, insérez les piles
dans la partie gauche ou droite du bornier de chargement (Illustration1) et (Illustration2).
2. Établissez un contact conforme aux symboles de polarité (+ et −) indiqués à l'intérieur de
chaque logement.
3. Chargez uniquement des piles de type AA ou AAA à la fois. Ne mélangez pas les tailles
de piles lors du chargement.
4. Branchez le chargeur sur une prise secteur CA standard. Le voyant LED vert d'état USB
s'allume dans les 10secondes, le voyant LED vert d'état USB s'éteint puis le voyant LED
rouge s'allume pour chaque logement où une pile est en cours de chargement. Les voyants
LED s'allument pour indiquer que les piles sont en cours de chargement.
5. Lorsque les piles sont entièrement chargées, le voyant LED rouge s’éteint pour indiquer
que le chargement est terminé et que les piles sont prêtes à l’emploi. Lorsque le voyant
LED vert est allumé, le port USB est prêt à l'emploi.

6. Une fois que les piles sont complètement rechargées ou lorsque le chargeur n'est pas
utilisé, débranchez le chargeur de la prise secteur et retirez les piles.
7. Retournez à l'étape1 pour charger le prochain jeu de piles.
Le port de chargement USB a la priorité sur les piles de type AA/
AAA en cours de chargement. Si vous avez des piles en place pour
le chargement et qu'un appareil est branché sur le port USB, le
chargement des piles AA/AAA sera suspendu jusqu'à ce que le port
USB ne soit plus sollicité. Après le chargement complet de l’appareil
USB et l’interruption de son alimentation ou son débranchement du
port USB, le chargement des piles AA/AAA reprend automatiquement.
Le voyant LED vert indique si le port USB est en cours d’utilisation ou
prêt à l’emploi. Puissance maximale du port: 500mA. Ne tentez pas de
surcharger le port USB, car cela risque d'endommager le chargeur ou
l'appareil USB.
Détection de Pile Défectueuse
Lorsque la phase de chargement est lancée, le chargeur détecte les piles. Si les piles ne
permettent pas le chargement (court-circuit ou inversion de polarité), le voyant LED se met
à CLIGNOTER rapidement. Les piles endommagées doivent être retirées et mises au rebut
de façon appropriée.

1) Ce chargeur est conçu pour charger 2 ou 4 piles. 1 ou 3 piles ne seront pas chargées.
2) Pour charger seulement 2 piles, les piles ne seront pas chargées lorsqu’elles sont
placées dans les logements de chargement cités ci-dessous :
