Safety instructions
USER MANUAL MP 03 Music Player
When using this electronic device, basic precautions
should always be taken, including the following:
1Read all instructions before using the product.
2Do not use this product near water (e.g., near a bathtub, washbowl,
kitchen sink, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool etc).
3 Use this device when you are sure that microphone receiver has
a stable base and it is fixed securely.
4This product, in combination with loudspeakers and amplifier may be
capable of producing sound levels that could cause permanent hearing
loss. Do not operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at
a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing
in the ears, you should consult with otorhinolaryngologist.
5The product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators,
heat vents, or other devices that produce heat.
6The product should be connected to a power supply that is described
in the operating instructions or are marked on the product.
7The power supply should be undamaged and never share an outlet
or extension cord with other devices. Never leave device plugged
into the outlet when it is not being used for a long period of time.
8Care should be taken that objects do not fall into liquids and liquids
would not be spilled on the device.
9The product should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:
– The power supply or the plug has been damaged.
– Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled on the product.
– The product has been exposed to rain.
– The product has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
10 There are some areas with high voltage inside, to reduce the risk of electric
shock do not remove cover of the microphone receiver or power supply.
The cover should be removed by the qualified personnel only.

MP 03 can be controlled with front panel buttons, IR remote or RS-232 interface.

4. Select CD/USB/SD or Radio tuner for IR remote control. Selected player is indicated by green color LED on the front panel.

CD/USB/SD Functions
FUNCT
Thisbuttonisdesignedforaudiosourceselection.(CD/USB/CARD).
PLAYER CONTROLS
Play/Pause, Stop and skip files.
FOLDER SKIP
Select previous or the next folder.
A - B
Repeat selected place in the file. When file is playing pressing this button one
timesetsstartpointandpressingthesecondtimesetsendpoint.Press“A-B”
button one more time to stop repeating playback.
EJECT
Ejected CD from the player.
PROG
Keyisusedforprogramming.AllprogrammingisclearedwhenSTOPkeyis
pushed in the programming mode.
MUTE
Mute and unmute sound from the output.
REPEAT
InUSB/SDmode,whenpushingthekeyPLAYmodeswitcheslikeshownbelow:

FM Radio Tuner Functions
MEMORY
Whenradiotunerisonpressing“Memory”buttonstartsashingpresetnumber.
Setthepresetnumberusingnumberkeysandpress“Memory”tosavethepreset.
The displayed frequency will be stored in the selected preset (1-30).
After5secondsofinactivityplayerexitsmemorymodeautomatically.
SETTING THE CLOCK
Whenradiotuneristurnedopressing“Memory”buttonwilldisplaythetime.
UseUP/DOWNkeystoadjustminutes.Press“Memory”againtoadjusthours.
Toconrmsetting,press“Memory”again.

This key allows to select presets 1-10, 2-20, 3-30 from the front panel.
Long press of this key will allow enering preset number using number keys.
ASM
Thisafunctiontoautosearchandstoreradiostations.Longpressof“ASM”button
will search for all available radio stations and store them in memory presets.
MANUAL TUNING
Longpressof“UP”or“DOWN”buttonwillstartautotuning.
Shortpressof“UP”or“DOWN”buttonadjustsfrequencymanuallyin50kHzsteps.
DIRECT
Set radio frequency using the number keys. Press this button once, input station
frequency,press“DIRECT”keyagaintoconrmthefrequencyandthetunerwill
jump to this station.
If the input frequency is beyond the range, the tuner will display ERR.
SLEEP
In sleep mode radio tuner automatically turns off after set time. Maximum time
for sleep function is 90 minutes.
MO/ST
Press“MO/ST”buttontosetmonoorstereomodefortheradiotuner.
RDS
Change RDS functions* cyclically: PS →PTY→RT →CT
PS – program service (call letters or station identity name will displayed)
PTY-programtype
RT - radio text (textual information, usually title and artist of the currently playing
song)
CT - clock time
RDS functions* - the RDS information and functions depend from radio station broadcasting.
