ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

BEFOREYOUBEGIN
1. LayoutallcomponentsandhardwaretoensurethatyouhaveeverythinglistedonPage4.
2. Thedeskweighsover100lbs.Twopeopleareneededtoturnormovedesktopandsomecomponents.
Whenturningormovingtheassembleddesk,grabitbySUPPORTBRACKETS(notthedesktop).
3. Assembleonsoftandnon‐abrasivesurfacetoavoidscratchordamagetothedesktop.
STEP1:INSTALLINGDESKSUPPORTBRACKET
1)Unfoldlegs.
2)SlideinSupportBracket.
3)AlignscrewholesonthebeamwiththoseontheSupportBracket
4)Use6mmAllenwrench(G)tosecureeachbracketwithtwoscrewsandsleeve(A)






STEP2:INSTALLINGDESKFEET
Use5mmAllenwrenchtosecureeachfoottocolumnwithfourscrews(B)andfourwasher(D).

 





STEP3A:MOUNTINGDESKTOP(withmatchingtopfromus)
Placedesktoponaflatandnon‐abrasivesurfacewithholesfacingup.Carefullyplaceassembledframe
ontothedesktop.Theframeisheavy.Twopeopleareneededtomoveitandtoturnthedeskover
afteritisassembled.Use3mmAllenwrenchtoloosenpre‐installedscrewsonthebeam.Pullorpushtoalign
theholesonthesupportbracketstopre‐installedanchorsonthedesk.

1. Usethree(B)M6x16hexagonscrewstosecureeachSupportBracket.
2. Use4to8(C)ST4x12panheadscrewstosecurethebeamtothemid‐sectionofdesktop.
3. Usetwo(C)ST4x12panheadscrewstosecuretheHeightControllertothedesktop.Pleasenote
pre‐drilledpilotholesareonlyavailableontherightsideofthedesk.

STEP3B:MOUNTINGDESKTOP(withyourowntop)

Optional:Findaseparatehardwarebaglabeled“Anchorsfortop”.Installthoseanchorstoyourown
top,andfollowinstruction3A.
SomeuserschoosenottoinstallanchorsandsimplyusetheirownwoodscrewstomountSupport
Bracketstothetop.Thosewoodscrewsarenotprovided.Pleasecheckthelengthofthescrews
beforemountingandmakesurethattheydon’tgothroughthetop.Forbeststability,theunderframe
shouldbecenteredwithsupportbracketsabout2”to3”fromtheedge.





STEP4:CONNECTINGCABLES

1. Connectheightcontrollercabletotheleftplugoncontrolbox.
2. Connectmotorcablestocontrolbox.Motorcablescanbeconnectedtoeitherportand
interchangeably.Switchingcablesfromoneporttoanothermaybeneededwhentrouble‐
shooting.Pleaserefertotrouble‐shootingsectionfordetails.
3. Plugpowercordtocontrolbox.
4. Plugpowercordtoapoweroutlet.












STEP5:INITIALIZINGDESK&SETTINGHEIGHTPOSITIONS

DESKMUSTBEINITIALIZEDBEFOREYOURFIRSTUSE,andmayneedtobere‐initialized(reset)fromtimeto
timetoworkproperly.Pleasenoteresettingrequiresmorethanjustasimplepower‐offandpower‐on.Use
HeightControllertoinitialize.
PressandholdUPandDOWNarrowbuttonsuntilthreeblinkingzerosappearonthedisplay,andthenrelease
thebuttons.Thedeskwillfirstgotothelowestposition,thenthehighestpositionandfinallystopsinbetween.
Theinitializationiscompletewhennumber38(+/‐1)appearsonthedisplay.Yourdeskisnowreadytouse.
Youcanpresetuptofourpositions.UseUPandDOWNarrowbuttonstomovedesktoyourdesiredposition.
PressMplusoneofthenumberbuttonstogetherfor1to3secondsuntildisplayedheightstarts
blinking,andthenreleasethebuttons.Togotoyourpresetheight,simplypressthenumberbutton
TWICEorpressandholdthebutton.
TROUBLESHOOTING

Checkallconnections.Makesurepowercordispluggedintothe
controlboxandapoweroutlet.Pressanybuttononthe
controllerandmakesureitilluminates.Re‐initializethedesk.
Deskdoesnotgoupordown.TheHeight
Controllerilluminateswhenanybutton
ispressed.
Unplugthepowercordandre‐plugafter10seconds.Re‐initialize
thedesk.Iftheproblempersists,switchmotorcablesfromone
porttoanotheratcontrolboxandre‐initializeonemoretime.
Columnsdonotgoupevenly.Unplugthepowercordandre‐plugafter10seconds.Re‐initialize
thedesk.Iftheproblempersists,switchmotorcablesfromone
porttoanotheratcontrolboxandre‐initializeonemoretime.
Deskwobblesprettyexcessively.Itisnormalthatdeskwobblesslightlyatstandingheightwhenin
use.Makesureallthescrewsaretightenedandadjustleveling
studsifthefloorisuneven.
HOTisdisplayedonthepanelThedeskoverheats.Stopusingthedeskfor10minutesandletit
cooldown.
DeskisunusuallynoisyLiftcolumnconsistsoftwostages.Itisnormalthatthedeskis
noisierwhenonestageextendsintotheother.Applysilicon
basedlubricantifitisunusuallynoisy.

