FAQ
Q1: Why does the Refrigerant Gas Leak Detector beep continuously
after it is turned on? Can it be turned off?
A: After the leak detector is turned on, it will beep slowly and
continuously, which proves that it is operating normally and
this sound cannot be turned off. When it detects a refrigerant
gas leak, it will make a rapid beep.
Q4: How can the detector avoid false alarms?
A: WJL-6000 has automatic-circuit function. when in the measu-
ring state, automatic circuit will follow the halogen gas conce-
ntration changes in the environment and is able to avoid false
alarms. Another option to avoid the false alarms is to move the
device to open-air environment. Then please restart the device
and adjust sensitivity to maximum level.
Q3: How can I know if the battery voltage is normal?
A: The forepart light of panel indicates the leak and the battery
voltage. Green- Battery voltage is normal, sufficient for proper
operation. Red-Battery voltage is approaching the lower thre-
shold for operation, replace as soon as possible.
Q2: The detector didn't detect a leak, what should I do?
A: When a leak can't be found, adjust to the higher sensitivity.
Be aware that in windy areas, even a large leak is difficult to be
found. In this condition, it is better to shield the potential leak
area.
