IIM2100M AT&T Quick Start Guide
Note: Before beginning take your Internet In Motion ellow information sheet to your local
AT&T dealer and get a DATACONNECT (Unlimited) account setup.
This Quick Start guide details installing a SIM. The modem is preconfigured for your Internet In
Motion® system. For additional modem configuration options, please contact IIM Technical

The IIM2100M-AT&T is equipped with an easy insertion SIM slot.

1. Remove the SIM slot cover.
Simply remove slot cover on the front of the
IIM2100M to reveal the SIM slot.

2. Eject the SIM tray.
Using the tip of a PDA stylus, an unbent paper-
clip, or other slim blunt item press the yellow
button (FIG. 3) of the SIM tray and slide the tray
out of the slot.
3. Insert the SIM into the tray.
Carefully remove the SIM card from the card you got
from AT&T/Cingular.
Place the SIM into the tray and gently press to click it
into place.

4. Insert the tray ith the SIM back into the
IIM2100M-A.
Slide the tray back into the modem and gently
press to click it into place.

Note: The first time you po er on your IIM2100M ith your ne SIM, there may be a delay of up to 10
minutes for the initial net ork connection to occur.

Please consult the attached installation instructions.
our IIM2100M should be mounted in a position that allows easy access for the cables so they are not bent or con-
stricted. The LEDs on the front panel should be visible for ease of operational verification. ou should ensure that
there is adequate airflow around the modem but that it is kept free from direct exposure to the elements (sun, rain,
etc.)

5. Replace the SIM slot cover.
Replace the cover to prevent dust or other unwanted parti-
cles from entering the IIM2100M-A. Once the cover is
replaced, the installation is complete.
