For shipping POTS modem
and/or CAS device at your
location back
RJ45 Cable Labelled ISE 10301-25. There may be more than 1 cable
for your specific order. There may be ISE-10302-25 or ISE 10303-25
cables also, depending on the features you have at the site.
1. RM 5400 Modem
2. 2 Antennas
3. Power supply Unit for the RM 5400 Modem
4. Power Plug Tips for various country electrical connectivity
5. An RJ45 25 foot cable
6. An empty box, and pre-paid mailing label for shipping old
modem back

Disconnect POTS Modem (if it exists at your location)

1. Disconnect the power cable from the Modem
2. Disconnect the phone line from the back of the modem
3. Disconnect the phone line from the wall jack
4. Disconnect the Modem cable from the back of the modem
5. Disconnect the Modem cable from the console port of the router
6. Package all the above equipment in the supplied box.
7. Drop it off or call UPS to pick it up, as per the mailing label.
8. Call your phone company to disconnect the phone line connected to the modem if
you need to do so
Disconnect Call Director (if it exists at your location)

1. Disconnect the power cable from the Call Director
2. Disconnect the console cables from the Call Director. Might be up to 4
3. Disconnect the console cables from the equipment
4. Disconnect the Modem cable from the Call Director. The other end is
connected to the modem. Disconnect the other end of the cable as well.
5. Package all the above equipment in the supplied box, along with the
equipment from step 1.
6. Drop it off or call FedEx to pick it up.
7. Call your phone company to disconnect the phone line connected to the
modem if you need to do so

1. Connect the two antennas to ANT1 and ANT 2
2. Connect the Power Supply and turn the power on.
3. Wait for a couple of minutes till front panel lights are stabilized
4. Setup the RM 5400 Modem where you can get at least 2 Signal Strength lights are lit
5. Move around up to 25 feet from the Router if necessary to get 2 signals.
6. Secure the RM 5400 modem to any permanent fixture

Use ISE 10302-25 cables to connect to AT&T VPN managed CSU-Probes
Note that the back of the router may
look differently than this. Locate the
serial port on the device and connect.
