LCD clock
Q Introduction
Familiarise yourself with the product be-
fore using it for the first time. In addition
please refer carefully to the operating
instructions below and the safety advice. Use the
product only as described and for the indicated
purpose. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If
you pass the product on to anyone else, please
ensure that you also pass on all the documentation.
Q Proper Use
The LCD radio-controlled clock shows the time in
12 / 24-hour mode (in hours, minutes and seconds),
the day of the week, the date, the phase of the moon
and the room temperature. The radio-controlled
clock also has an alarm function (weekday, weekend).
The clock is only suitable for operation in enclosed
spaces at normal room temperature. Any other use
or modification of the device constitute improper
use and may result in injury and / or damage to the
device. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
caused by improper use. The device is not intended
for commercial use.

is a danger of suffocation from the packaging
material. Children frequently underestimate the
dangers. Children should be kept away from
the product at all times. This is not a toy.
J Children or persons who lack the knowledge
or experience to use the device or whose
physical, sensory or intellectual capacities are
limited must never be allowed to use the device
without supervision or instruction by a person
responsible for their safety. Children must never
be allowed to play with the device.
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries
can be swallowed, which may represent a
danger to life. If a battery has been swallowed,
medical help is required immediately.
J Do not use the device if it is damaged. Damaged
devices represent a danger of death!
WARNING! Do not use the device in hospitals
or medical facilities, as otherwise this may result
in malfunctions of life-support systems.
J Do not expose the device to

Otherwise there is a danger that the device will

the measurements.

damage caused by incorrect handling, non-com-
pliance with the operating instructions or interfer-
ence with the device by unauthorised individuals.
J Under no circumstances should you take the
device apart. Improper repairs may place the
user in considerable danger. Repairs should
only be carried out by specialist personnel.
Safety Instructions
for Batteries
J Remove the battery from the device if it is not
going to be used for a prolonged period.

CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLO-
SION! The batteries must never be
recharged!
J When inserting the battery, ensure the correct
polarity! This is shown in the battery compartment.
J If necessary, clean the battery and device con-
tacts before inserting the battery.
J Remove a spent battery immediately from the
device. There is an increased danger of leaks!
J If the above instructions are not complied with,
the battery may discharge itself beyond its end
voltage. There is then a danger of leaking. If
the battery has leaked inside your device, you
should remove it immediately in order to prevent
damage to the device!
J Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal
domestic waste!
J Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of
batteries in the proper manner!
J Keep batteries away from children; do not throw
them in the fire, short-circuit them or take them
apart.
J Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. Any parts of the body coming into
contact with battery acid should be rinsed off
with copious amounts of water and / or a doctor
contacted if necessary!

up the device, please ensure that it is not exposed
to any direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat, cold or
moisture. Do not place the device close to sources of
heat, e.g. radiators. Otherwise it may be damaged.

j Make sure that the device is standing safely on
a stable surface.
j Make sure that the device is mounted properly
if installed on a wall. A falling clock could injure
people
or cause damage to the device itself or
to other objects.
j Stand the radio-controlled clock on its base 19
or mount it on the wall.
j Place the clock on a level, horizontal surface.
j Do not stand the device on valuable or sensitive
surfaces without suitable protection. The surface
may otherwise be damaged.
j Do not place the device anywhere near to sources
of interference such as televisions, computers,
thick walls, etc. These may hinder reception of
the radio signal.
j Do not use the clock in reinforced concrete
buildings, e. g. airports, high-rises, factories or
basements. This can seriously disrupt reception
of the radio signal.
j Do not start radio reception in a moving vehicle,
e. g. car or train. Reception of the radio signal
by the device can disrupt the vehicle electronics.
j Do not expose the clock to temperatures below
--20°C for any length of time. This can seriously
affect the reception range of the device.
Q Installing the LCD
radio-controlled clock
Note: You will need a drill, suitable assembly
material and a screwdriver for installation.

ERTY! Please read the operating and safety instruc-
tions for your drill carefully.
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE! Please
ensure that you do not drill into any electrical wiring,
gas or water pipes in the wall. If necessary, carry out
checks with a wire, pipe and stud detector before
you drill into a wall.
j
Find a suitable place to install the radio-controlled
clock.
j Mark the drill hole on the wall.
m CAUTION! DANGER OF INJURY! Refer to
the operating instructions for your electric drill.
j Drill the hole with a drill.
j
Insert a suitable wall plug into the drill hole.
j Use a screwdriver to insert a suitable screw.
j Hang the radio-controlled clock on the screw
using the mount 16.
Q Starting the LCD
radio-controlled clock
j Open the battery compartment cover 20 on
the back of the device.
j Insert a Mignon 1.5 V / AA type battery.
Note: Make sure that the polarity is correct
when you insert the battery. This is indicated in
the battery compartment.
j Close the battery compartment cover 20.
As soon as the battery is inserted, reception of the
radio signal begins.
Note: Do not alter the position of the radio-controlled
clock during reception of the signal. This may disrupt
reception.
Radio Signal (DCF):
The DCF signal (time signal transmitter) consists of
time pulses emitted by one of the most accurate clocks
in the world close to Frankfurt / Main, Germany –
this varies by 1 second in a million years.
Your radio-controlled clock receives these signals
under ideal conditions up to a distance of approx.
1,500 km around Frankfurt / Main. Reception of the
radio signal generally takes approx. 3 - 10 minutes.
j If it does not work properly, restart the radio-
controlled clock. To do this, keep the WAVE
button 21 pressed for approx. 3 seconds.
Reception can be considerably impaired by obstacles
(e.g. concrete walls) or sources of interference (e.g.
other electrical devices). If necessary, change the
location of the radio clock (e.g. by putting it near a
window) if you have problems with reception.

Q Operation
Q Reception of DCF radio signal
The radio-controlled clock automatically starts to
search for the DCF radio signal. The radio icon 2
on the LCD indicates that the clock is searching for the
radio signal.
Note: Reception of the radio signal may be seriously
disrupted in reinforced concrete buildings (see “Set-
ting up Devices”).
It is also possible to start reception of the DCF radio
signal manually on the clock.
j Press and hold down the WAVE button 21 for
3 seconds. The radio-controlled clock attempts
to pick up the DCF radio signal. This process
takes a few minutes and is indicated by the
flashing radio icon 2 on the LCD.
Note: If the radio-controlled clock cannot pick up
the DCF radio signal on account of an error or the
distance from the transmitter, etc., it is also possible
to set the time manually. As soon as reception of
the DCF signal is successful, the manual settings
are overwritten.
Q Setting the time / date / month /
year manually
1. Keep the WAVE button 21 pressed for approx.
3 seconds. The radio icon 2 flashes.
2. Keep the WAVE button 21 pressed again for
approx. 3 seconds to interrupt reception of the
radio signal.
3. Keep the MODE button 22 pressed for approx.
2 seconds. The hours display flashes. Press the
UP 18 or DOWN button 17 to set the required
hour.
Tip: If you keep the UP 18 or DOWN button
17 pressed, the settings are made faster. You
can also use this fast setting option for subse-
quent settings. If you do not press any button
for 60 seconds, the LCD automatically reverts
to the standard display.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to set the minutes, year,
month 9 and date 10 .
Q Using the 12 / 24-hour display
j While time display 1 is indicated press the
UP button 18 to switch between 12- hour and
24-hour format.
Note: The AM icon 14 on the LCD stands for
mornings in 12-hour format. The PM icon 13
on the LCD stands for afternoons in 12-hour
format.
Q Setting the alarm
Weekday alarm:
The weekday alarm is active every day from Monday
to Friday.
1. Press the MODE button 22 once briefly. The
adjusted alarm time is indicated in the LC display.
2. Press the MODE button 22 and keep it pressed
for approx. 2 seconds. The hours display flashes.
3. Press the UP 18 or DOWN button 17 to set the
required hour. Press the MODE button 22 to
confirm your setting.
4. The minutes display flashes. Repeat step 3 to
set the minutes.
Weekend alarm:
The weekend alarm is active on both days from
Saturday to Sunday.
1. Press the MODE button 22 twice briefly if the
radio-controlled clock is in time display 1 mode.
Press the MODE button 22 once briefly if the
radio-controlled clock is in weekday alarm mode.
2. Press and keep the MODE button 22 pressed
for approx. 2 seconds. The hours display flashes.
3. Press the UP 18 or DOWN button 17 to set the
required hour. Press the MODE button 22 to
confirm your setting.

4. The minutes display flashes. Repeat step 3 to
set the minutes.
Q Activating / Deactivating
the alarm
j Press the MODE button 22 briefly once / twice
to enter weekday alarm mode / weekend alarm
mode.
j Press the UP 18 or DOWN button 17. The week-
day alarm icon 15 or the weekend alarm
icon

appears on the LCD. The alarm has
been activated.
j Press the UP 18 or DOWN button 17 again.
The weekday alarm icon 15 or the weekend
alarm icon 12 disappears from the LCD.
The alarm has been deactivated.
Q Switching off the alarm signal
j Press any button when the alarm is ringing to stop
the alarm signal. There is no need to reactivate
the alarm. It switches itself on automatically
according to the chosen weekly setting.
Note: The alarm is ringing for one minute.
Q Setting the day of the week
display
The day of the week 8 can be displayed in various
languages. The standard setting is English.
j Press the DOWN button 17 and keep it pressed.
In the day of the week display 8, the abbrevi-
ation for the current language appears. Release
the DOWN button 17 when the abbreviation
for your chosen language appears.
The following languages are available:
EN = English
GE = German
FR = French
IT = Italian
SP = Spanish
DU = Dutch
Q Displaying universal time
Note: The display showing the names of the towns
and times will appear in the LC display in place of
the day of the week display 8, month display 9
and date display 10.
j Press the MODE button 22 briefly three times.
j Press the MODE button 22 and hold it down
for two seconds. The name of the town and the
time will flash.
j Press the buttons UP 18 or DOWN 17 to select
the town you wish to have.
Note: When you are in a town that can receive
the radio signal (DCF), but the local time dis-
played is different from the actual time, you
can automatically update the local time.
j Press and hold down the DOWN button 17 for
approx. 2 seconds. The local time will automat-
ically adjust itself in accordance with the DCF
signal. This applies to time zones UTC0 to +3.
Note: You can manually change individual
towns to daylight saving time - even if they do
not officially have daylight saving time.
j Press and hold down the UP button 18 for ap-
prox. 2 seconds to set the town in question to
daylight saving time if necessary. The local time
in question will be moved forward by one hour
or put back by one hour.
Note: The following towns do not have any official
daylight saving time:

The current inside temperature 6 is indicated on
the LCD.

Q Phases of the moon
The radio-controlled clock indicates the current phase
of the moon 7 on the LCD.
The following icons can be displayed:

Q Displaying summertime
Summertime is automatically indicated on the LCD
by the summertime icon 4. The clock receives
the information as to whether it is summertime or not
from the DCF radio signal. You can also adjust the
summertime manually (see “Displaying universal
time”).
Note: Reception of the radio signal may be seriously
disrupted in reinforced concrete buildings.
Q Changing the battery

battery promptly.
j Open the battery compartment cover 20 on
the back of the device.
j Remove the used battery.

Q Troubleshooting
j This appliance has delicate electronic compo-
nents. This means that if it is placed near an
object that transmits radio signals, it could cause
interference.
This could be, for example, mobile telephones,
walkie talkies, CB radios, remote controls and
microwaves.

If the display indicates a problem, move such
objects away from it.
j Electrostatic charge can lead to the appliance
failing. In cases of the appliance failing to work
remove the batteries for a short while and then
replace them.
Q Cleaning and Maintenance
j The device should only be cleaned on the out-
side with a soft dry cloth.
j Under no circumstances should you use liquids
or detergents, as these will damage the device.
Q Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more
details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please
dispose of the product properly when it
has reached the end of its useful life and
not in the household waste. Information on collection
points and their opening hours can be obtained from
your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accord-
ance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Please return
the batteries and / or the device to the available
collection points.
Environmental damage through
incorrect disposal of the batteries!
Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual do-
mestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals
and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules
and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy
metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg= mercury,
Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used
batteries at a local collection point.

Q Johdanto
Tutustu laitteeseen ennen ensimmäistä
käyttöönottoa. Lue sitä varten tämä käyt-

Q Määräystenmukainen käyttö
Radio-ohjattu LCD-kello näyttää ajan 12 / 24- moo-
dissa (tunnit, minuutit ja sekunnit), viikonpäivän,
päiväyksen, kuun vaiheen ja huoneenlämpötilan.
Radio-ohjatussa kellossa on lisäksi myös herätystoi-
minto (viikonpäivä, viikonloppu). Laite on tarkoitettu
käytettäväksi ainoastaan suljetuissa tiloissa ja nor-
maalissa huoneenlämpötilassa. Muunlainen käyttö
tai muutosten teko laitteeseen on määräystenvastaista

Paristoja koskevia

J Ota paristot pois laitteesta, jos laitetta ei käytetä
pitkään aikaan.
J VARO! RÄJÄHDYSVAARA! Älä
missään tapauksessa lataa paristoja
uudelleen!
J Laita paristot laitteeseen aina oikein päin. Na-
pojen oikea suunta on merkitty paristolokeroihin.
J Puhdista paristo- ja laitekosketus tarvittaessa,
ennen kuin laitat paristot lokeroon.
J Tyhjentynyt paristo on poistettava välittömästi
laitteesta. Se voi vuotaa paristotilaan!
J Ellei näitä ohjeita noudateta, paristo voi tyhjen-
tyä yli loppujännitteensä. Silloin on olemassa
vaara, että akku vuotaa. Jos laitteesi paristo on
päässyt vuotamaan, poista se välittömästi, näin
vältät laitteen vaurioitumisen!
J Paristoja ei saa hävittää tavallisen kotitalousjät-
teen mukana!
J Laki velvoittaa jokaista käyttäjää hävittämään
paristot määräysten mukaisesti!
J Pidä paristot lasten ulottumattomissa, älä heitä
niitä tuleen, älä oikosulje niitä äläkä pura niitä.

Jos pariston happoa joutuu iholle, huuhtele

Laitteen sijoittaminen
m VARO! Varmista laitteiden sijoituspaikkaa vali-
tessasi, että laitteet eivät altistu suoralle auringonsä-
teilylle, tärinälle, pölylle, kuumuudelle, kylmyydelle
ja kosteudelle. Älä sijoita laitteita lämmönlähteiden
(esim. lämpöpatteri) lähelle. Laitteet voivat vioittua.
j Varmistaudu, että laite seisoo tukevasti vankalla
alustalla.
j Tarkista, että ripustus seinäasennuksessa on
suoritettu moitteettomasti. Jos kello putoaa,
henkilöt voivat loukkaantua, laite rikkoutua ja
siitä voi seurata muita aineellisia vahinkoja.

j Aseta radio-ohjattu kello jalalle 19 tai asenna
se seinään.
j Aseta laite tasaiselle, vaakasuoralle alustalle.
j Älä sijoita laitetta ilman sopivaa suojusta arvok-
kaille tai aroille pinnoille. Nämä voivat vaurioitua.
j Älä sijoita laitetta häiriölähteiden läheisyyteen,
kuten televisio, tietokone, vahvat muurit jne.
Tämä voi alentaa radiosignaalin vastaanotto-
kykyä.
j Älä käytä kelloa teräsbetonirakennuksissa, esim.
lentoasemilla, korkeissa kerrostaloissa, tehtaissa,
kellareissa. Tämä voi vaikuttaa voimakkaasti
radiosignaalin vastaanottoon.
j Älä käynnistä vastaanottoa liikkuvassa ajoneu-
vossa, esimerkiksi autossa tai junassa. Radio-
signaalin vastaanotto voi häiritä ajoneuvon
elektroniikkaa.
j Älä altista laitetta pitemmäksi ajaksi alle --20°C
lämpötiloille.

Varo, ettet seinää poratessasi osu sähkö-, kaasu tai
vesijohtoihin. Tarkista seinä tarvittaessa johtojen
etsintälaitteella, ennen kuin ryhdyt poraamaan sitä.
j Etsi sopiva sijoituspaikka radio-ohjatulle kellollesi.
j Merkitse porausreikä seinään.

j Avaa paristotilan kansi 20 laitteen takapuolella.
j Aseta paristot, tyyppi Mignon 1,5 V / AA
paristotilaan.

j Sulje paristotilan kansi 20 .
Heti kun paristo on asetettu paristotilaan, radio-oh-
jattu kello käynnistää radiosignaalin vastaanoton.
Huomautus: Älä vaihda kellon sijaintipaikkaa
vastaanoton aikana. Se voi aiheuttaa häiriöitä
vastaanotossa.
Radiosignaali (DCF):
DCF-signaali (aikasignaalilähetin) koostuu aikaim-
pulsseista, jotka tulevat yhdestä maailman tarkim-
mista kelloista Saksassa Frankfurt / Mainin lähellä
– sen poikkeama on 1 sekunti 1 miljoonan vuoden
aikana.
Radio-ohjattu kello vastaanottaa optimaalisissa olo-
suhteissa nämä signaalit n. 1.500 km:n etäisyydeltä
Frankfurt / Mainista. Radiosignaalin vastaanotto
kestää normaalisti noin 3 - 10 minuuttia.
j Ellei kello toimi kunnolla, käynnistä se tarvittaessa
uudelleen. Pidä tällöin WAVE -näppäintä 21
painettuna noin 3 sekunnin ajan.
Esteet (esim. betoniseinät) tai häiriölähteet (esim.
muut sähkölaitteet) voivat heikentää signaalin vas-
taanottamista huomattavasti. Vaihda tarvittaessa
radiokellon paikkaa (esim. ikkunan lähelle), jos
vastaanotossa on häiriöitä.
Q Käyttö
Q DCF radiosignaalin
vastaanotto
Radio-ohjattu kello alkaa automaattisesti etsiä
DCF-radiosignaalia. Etsintä näytetään LC-näytössä
radiosymbolin vilkunnalla 2.

Käyttö
Huomautus: Teräsbetonisissa rakennuksissa
radiosignaalin vastaanotto voi vaikeutua huomatta-
vasti (katso ”Laitteen sijoitus”).
DCF-radiosignaalin vastaanotto voidaan radio-oh-
jatussa kellossa käynnistää myös manuaalisesti.
j Paina WAVE-näppäintä 21 ja pidä se painettuna
3 sekunnin ajan. Radio-ohjattu kello yrittää
vastaanottaa DCF-radiosignaalin. Tämä kestää
muutaman minuutin ja se näytetään LC-näytös-
sä radiosymbolin vilkunnalla 2.
Huomautus: Ellei radio-ohjattu kello virheiden,
liian suuren etäisyyden lähettimestä tms. vuoksi voi
vastaanottaa DCF-radiosignaalia, voit asettaa ajan
manuaalisesti. Heti kun DCF-radiosignaalin vastaan-
otto onnistuu manuaalisesti, asetetut arvot pyyhitään
pois.
Q Kellonajan / päiväyksen /
kuukauden / vuoden asetus
1. Pidä WAVE -näppäintä 21 painettuna noin
3 sekunnin ajan. Radiosymboli 2
vilkkuu.
2. Pidä WAVE -näppäintä 21 uudelleen painettuna
noin 3 sekunnin ajan niin radiosignaalin vas-
taanotto keskeytyy.
3. Pidä MODE -näppäintä 22 painettuna noin
2 sekunnin ajan. Tuntinäyttö vilkkuu. Aseta
haluttu arvo UP- 18 tai DOWN-näppäintä 17
painamalla.
Ohje: Pidä UP- 18 tai DOWN-näppäintä 17
painettuna. Tämä nopeuttaa asetusta. Tätä pika-
asetusta voit käyttää hyväksi myös seuraavissa
asetuksissa. Ellet 60 sekuntiin paina mitään
näppäintä, LC-näyttö palaa automaattisesti
takaisin vakionäyttöön.
4. Vahvista syöttö painamalla MODE-näppäintä 22.
Minuuttinäyttö vilkkuu.
5. Toista toiminnot 3. ja 4. minuuttien, vuoden,
kuukauden 9 ja päiväyksen 10 asettamiseksi.
Q 12 / 24-tuntinäytön käyttö
j Paina UP-näppäintä 18, kun näytössä on kello-
naika 1 voidaksesi kytkeä edestakaisin
12-tunnin- ja 24-tunnin näyttömuodon välillä.
Huomautus: AM-symboli 14 LC-näytössä on
12-tunnin formaatissa aamupäivälle. PM-sym-
boli 13 LC-näytössä on 12-tunnin formaatissa
iltapäivälle.
Q Hälytyksen asetus
Viikonpäivän hälytys:
Viikonpäivän hälytys on aktiivinen joka päivä maa-
nantaista perjantaihin.
1. Paina MODE-näppäintä 22 yhden kerran hetken.
Asetettu herätysaika näytetään LC-näytössä.
2. Paina MODE -näppäintä 22 ja pidä se painet-
tuna noin 2 sekunnin ajan. Tuntinäyttö vilkkuu.
3. Aseta haluttu arvo painamalla UP- 18 tai
DOWN-näppäintä 17 . ahvista syöttö paina-
malla MODE-näppäintä 22.
4. Minuuttinäyttö vilkkuu. Toista toiminto 3. aset-
taaksesi minuutit.
Viikonloppuhälytys:
Viikonloppuhälytys on aktiivinen joka päivä lauan-
taista sunnuntaihin.
1. Paina kahdesti hetken MODE-näppäintä 22, kun
radio-ohjattu kello on ajannäytössä 1. Paina
kerran hetken MODE-näppäintä 22, kun radio-
ohjattu kello on viikonpäivähälytys-moodissa.
2. Paina MODE -näppäintä 22 ja pidä se painet-
tuna noin 2 sekunnin ajan. Tuntinäyttö vilkkuu.
3. Aseta haluttu arvo painamalla UP- 18 tai
DOWN-näppäintä 17 . Vahvista syöttö paina-
malla MODE-näppäintä 22.
4. Minuuttinäyttö vilkkuu. Toista toiminto 3. aset-
taaksesi minuutit.

deaktivointi
j Paina kerran / kahdesti hetken MODE-näp-
päintä 22 päästäksesi viikonpäivähälytys-
moodiin / viikonloppuhälytys-moodiin.
j Pidä UP- 18 tai DOWN-näppäintä 17 painet-
tuna. LC-näyttöön tulee viikonpäivähälytyssymboli
15 tai viikonloppuhälytys-symboli 12 .
Hälytys on aktivoitu.
j Paina UP- 18 tai DOWN-näppäintä 17 uudel-
leen. LC-näyttöön tulee viikonpäivähälytyssymboli
15 tai viikonloppuhälytys-symboli 12.
Hälytys on deaktivoitu.
Q Hälytyssignaalin poiskytkentä
j Paina jotain näppäintä, kun haluat pysäyttää
hälytyssignaalin. Hälytystä ei tarvitse aktivoida
uudelleen. Se kytkeytyy päälle automaattisesti
säädetyssä viikkorytmissä.
Huomautus: Herätyssignaali kytkeytyy
minuutin kuluttua pois.
Q Viikonpäivänäytön asetus
Viikonpäivät 8 voidaan saada näyttöön eri kielillä.
Vakioasetus on englannin kielinen.
j Paina DOWN-näppäintä 17 ja pidä se painet-
tuna. Viikonpäivänäyttöön 8 tulee lyhennys
aktuellista asetetusta kielestä. Päästä DOWN-
näppäin 17 irti vasta, kun näyttöön tulee
haluamasi kielen lyhennys.
Käytettävissä ovat seuraavat kielet:
EN = englanti
GE = saksa
FR = ranska
IT = italia
SP = espanja
DU = hollanti
Q Maailmanaikojen näyttö
Huomautus: Kaupungin nimien ja aikojen näyttö
tulee LC-näyttöön viikonpäivänäytön 8, kuukausi-
näytön 9 ja päiväyksen näytön 10 asemasta.
j Paina 3 x MODE-näppäintä 22 .
j Paina MODE -näppäintä 22 ja pidä se painet-
tuna kahden sekunnin ajan. Kaupungin nimi ja
aika vilkkuvat.
j Paina näppäimiä UP 18 tai DOWN 17 halutun
kaupungin valitsemiseksi.
Huomautus: Mikäli olet kaupungissa, jossa
voidaan vastaanottaa radiosignaali (DCF), mutta
näytössä oleva paikallinen aika poikkeaa todel-
lisesta ajasta, voit aktualisoida paikallisen ajan
automaattisesti.
j Paina tätä varten DOWN -näppäintä 17 ja pidä
se painettuna noin 2 sekunnin ajan. Paikallinen
aika säätyy automaattisesti DCF-signaalin mukaan.
Tämä pätee aikavyöhykkeille UTC0 - +3.
Huomautus: Sinulla on mahdollisuus vaihtaa
muutamien kaupunkien kellot manuaalisesti
kesäaikaan – vaikka niillä virallisesti ei olisikaan
kesäaikaa.
j Paina UP-näppäintä 18 ja pidä se painettuna

Q Kesäajan näyttö
Kesäaika näytetään LC-näytössä automaattisesti
kesäajan symbolilla 4. Kello toteaa DC-radio-
signaalin avulla onko kesäaika vai ei. Voit asettaa
kesäajan myös manuaalisesti (katso ”Maailma-
najan näyttö”).
Huomautus: Teräsbetonisissa rakennuksissa
radiosignaalin vastaanotto voi vaikeutua huomatta-
vasti.
Q Pariston vaihto
Paristosymbli 3 tulee LC-näyttöön, kun paristo
on heikko. Huolehdi siitä, että vaihdat pariston ajoissa.
j Avaa paristotilan kansi 20 laitteen takapuolella.
j Poista käytetyt paristot.
j Aseta uudet paristot, tyyppi Mignon 1,5 V /
AA paristotilaan.

Q Vian korjaaminen
j Laite sisältää herkkiä elektronisia komponentteja.
Tästä syystä voi olla mahdollista, että välittö-
mässä läheisyydessä olevat radiolähetinlaitteet
häiritsevät laitetta. Tällaisia voivat olla esim.
matkapuhelimet, radiopuhelimet, CB-radiolait-
teet, radiokaukosäätimet / muut kaukosäätimet
ja mikroaaltolaitteet. Mikäli näytössä ilmenee
vikailmoituksia, poista tällaiset laitteet laitteen
ympäristöstä.
j Elektrostaattiset purkaukset voivat aiheuttaa
toimintahäiriöitä. Poista tällaisten toimintohäiri-
öiden esiintyessä paristo hetkeksi ja aseta se
sitten takaisin paikoilleen.
Q Puhdistus ja hoito
j Puhdista laite vain ulkopuolelta pehmeällä,
kuivalla kankaalla.
j Älä missään tapauksessa käytä nesteitä tai
puhdistusaineita, sillä ne vioittavat laitetta.
Q Jätehuolto
Pakkaus on ympäristöystävällista materi-
aalia, jonka voit viedä paikalliseen
kierrätyspisteeseen.
Saat lisätietoa käytettyjen tuotteiden jätehuoltomah-
dollisuuksista kunnan- tai kaupungintoimistosta.
Älä heitä käytettyä tuotetta talousjättei-
siin. Toimi ympäristöystäväl-lisesti toimit-
tamalla se asianmukaiseen jätehuoltoon.
Paikallisesta kunnan- tai kaupungintoimistosta saat
lisätietoa kierrätyspisteistä ja aukioloajoista.
Vialliset ja käytetyt paristot on toimitettava kierrä-
tykseen direktiivin 2006 / 66 / EC mukaisesti.
Palauta paristot ja / tai laite tarjolla olevaan keräys-
laitokseen.
Akkujen väärä hävittäminen
aiheuttaa ympäristövahinkoja!
Paristoja ei saa hävittää talousjätteenä. Ne voivat
sisältää myrkyllisiä raskasmetalleja ja ne kuuluvat
ongelmajätekäsittelyyn. Raskasmetallien kemialliset
merkit ovat seuraavat: Cd = kadmium, Hg = eloho-
pea, Pb = lyijy. Toimita tästä syystä vanhat paristot
kunnalliseen keräyspisteeseen.

Klockan visar tiden i 12 / 24- läge (timmar, minuter
och sekunder), veckodag, datum, månfas och rums-
temperatur. Klockan har en väckningsfunktion (veck-
odag, helg). Produkten är endast avsedd i torra
slutna utrymmen med normal rumstemperatur. Varje
annan användning gäller som icke avsedd använd-
ning och kan medföra risk för personskador och /
eller produktskador. Tillverkaren ansvarar inte för
skador vilka kan härledas ur felaktig hantering. Pro-
