Start to Use
1Battery
Thebatterywhichisinitially50%chargedcanbeusedimmediately.Pleasefully
charge/dischargethebatteryforthefirstthreetimestogetmaximumcapacity.
1.1Remove/InserttheBattery
Followthefollowingstepstoremove:
AOpeningthebackcoverbythegapatitsLowerleftside.
BLiftupthebatterybottomatitsuppersideinthedirectionofthearrow.
CClosethebackcover.
Followthefollowingstepstoinstall:
AAlignthemetalcontactsofthebatterywiththemetalcontactsinthebatterycompartmentas
perthedirectionofthearrow,pressthebatterybottomintothecompartment.
BPutonthebatterycoverinaparallelwayuntilitiscompletelymatched.
1.2ChargetheBattery
Duringcharging,thebatteryindicatoronthephoneisathundericon.Ifthedeviceisswitched
offduringthecharge,therewillstillbeachargeindicationonthescreenthatshowsthephoneis
stillbeingcharged.Ifthedeviceisoverusedwhenthebatteryislow,itmighttakesometimeto
appearthechargingicon.
Whenthebatteryindicatoronthescreensays'fullycharged',thenthundericonwilldisappear,
whichmeansthecompletionofcharging.Ifthephoneisswitchedoffduringcharging,thescreen

willhavea'fullycharged'scene.Itgenerallytakes4hourstochargethebattery.Duringcharging,
thebattery,thedeviceandthechargerwillgethot.Thisisnormal.
UnplugthechargerfromtheACelectricaloutletanddisconnectthewiringbetweenthe
phoneandthechargeraftercharging..
ThephonecanbechargedviashieldedUSBcableconnectingtocomputer.
Attention:Chargethephoneinawellventilatedplaceinwhichthetemperatureisfrom‐10oCto
+55oC.Usethechargerprovidedbythemanufactureronly.Theuseofunconfirmedchargermay
leadtodangersandviolatethemanufacturer'swarrantyclause.Ifthetemperatureistoohighor
toolowduringthecharge,thedevicewillautomaticallysendawarningandstopchargingtoavoid
damagetothebatteryoranydanger.
2ConnectingtoNetwork
2.1SIMCard
InsertvalidSIMcard(subscriberidentitymodule)beforeusingthedevice.
AllinformationrelatedtothereachofthenetworkisrecordedinthechipofSIMcard,
includingthename,phonenumberandmessagesstoredintheSIMcardcontacts.Incaseoflosing
ordamagingSIMcardinformation,usersshouldavoidtouchingthemetaltouchingsideandkeep
SIMcardawayfromelectricalandmagneticfield.
2.2InsertandRemovetheSIMCard
Switchoffthedevice,andremovethebatteryandotherexternalpowersupply.
InserttheSIMcardintothecardslotasthepictureindicated.
PleaseswitchoffthephoneandremovethebatterybeforeremovingtheSIMcard.
Warning:DamagescouldhappentoyourSIMcardifthedeviceisnotswitchedoffwhentaking
outoftheSIMcard.
2.3Insert/RemovetheMemoryCard.
Switchoffthehandset.
Insertthememorycardintotheslotandlocktheslotasindicatedinthepicture.
Attention:Thishandsetdoesn'tsupportthehot‐swapofTcard.Whenyouneedtotakeoutofthe
insertedcard,pleaseswitchoffthedevicebeforetakingoutofthememorycard.

2.4SwitchON/OFF
DoalongpresstheSwitchon/offkeytoswitchon/offthephone.
IfinsertingtheSIMcard,thescreenwillshowthenotesinthefollowingorderwhenthe
phoneisswitchedon:
TypeinPIN—ifyouhavealreadysettheSIMcode.
Search—Thehandsetwillbesearchingforpropernetworkconnection.
2.5UnlockSIMCard
Toavoidillegaluse,theSIMcardisencipheredwithPIN(personalidentificationnumber)asa
protection.WhenthisfunctionisONandyouhavealreadysetaPINcode,youneedtotypeinPIN
codeeverytime,thehandsetisswitchedoninordertounlockSIMcardandusethehandset.
YoucanturnofftheSIMPINcode.Yetinthissituation,theSIMcardcan'tpreventillegaluse.
InputPINcode,pressarrowheadicontoerasetypingerrorandpressOKtoendtyping.
Forexample,ifthePINcodeissetas1234,thentype"1234"thenpressOK.
TheSIMcardwillbelockedifyoutypeinwrongcodeforthreetimescontinuously.Thehandset
willinformyoutotypeinPUKcode.
Attention:YournetworkproviderwillsetastandardPINcode(fourtoeightnumbers)foryour
SIMcard.Itisrecommendedthatyouchangethecodeintoapersonalcodeassoonaspossible.
2.6ConnectiontoNetwork
WhentheSIMcardissuccessfullyunlocked,thehandsetwillautomaticallysearchfor
availablenetwork(thelockscreenshowssearching).Thehandsetwillshowtheinformationofthe
networkprovider,thestatusbarwillshowthesignalstrengthandthenetworkconditiononcethe
handsetissuccessfullyconnectedtoanetwork.
Attention:Ifthelockscreensshows"Emergency",itmeansthatyou'reoutofnetworkcoverage
(servicecoverage)oryourcardisnotvalid,yetyoucanstillhaveemergencycallsbasedonsignal
strength.

Whenthenetworkprovidericonappearsonthestandbyscreen,youcancalloutoranswer
calls.Theindicatorontheupperrightpartshallshowthesignalstrength.
Qualityofconnectionwillbegreatlyinfluencedbyobstructions.Somovementinasmall
rangemayeffectivelyimprovethequalityofconnection.

UsevirtualkeyboardtoenterphonenumbersandthenpressDialicontocall.Ifyouneedto
changethephonenumber,pleasepressthedeletekeyonthetouchscreentodelete.Whenthe
callisanswered,thescreenshallshowtheconnectionstatus.
1.2CallExtensionPhone
Someoftheextensionphonescan'tbedirectlyconnectedto.Usethevirtualkeyboard,enter
switchboardnumber,opentheoptionmenuandchoose"Add2‐secpause",andthendialthe
extensionphonenumber.

Ifyouneedtomakeaninternationalcall,doalongpressonthe0keyonthevirtualkeyboard

evenifyoudon'tknowtheinternationalcallprefixofthatcountry.
Youcanmakeaninternationalcallaccordingtothefollowingtypingorder:+›countrycode›
completephonenumber›dialingicon(typeintheprefixcode,andthencontinuetoenterthe
countrycodeandcompletephonenumber).Countrycodeusuallyfollowsconventionalpractice:
Germanis49,Britain44,Sweden46andsoon
Whenmakinginternationalphonecalls,the"0"inthecitycodeshouldbeemitted.
1.4MakeListedCalls
Everydialedandreceivedphonenumberisrecordedinthecallhistorylist.Recentlydialed,
answeredandmissedphonenumbersarechronologically(newesttooldest)listedinthe"all"log.
Youcanalsochooseandcheckmissed,answeredanddialedlistaccordingtoyourneed.
Listedphonenumberscanbecalledoutbypressingtherespectivelog.
Pressthesmalliconontherightsidetoenterthedetailsinterfaceofthelog.Inthecall
historyinterface,userscandoalongpresstosaveordeletethenumber.Inthedetailsinterface,
thephonenumbersavefunctionispreset.
2EmergencyCalls
Youcancallforemergencyserviceaslongasyouareinthenetworkcoverage(checkthe
signalstrengthindicationbarontheupperrightsideofthehandsetscreen).Ifyournetwork
providerdoesn'tprovideroamingserviceinthisarea,therewillbe"EmergencyCalls"onthelock

screen.Ifyouareinthenetworkcoverage,youcanhaveemergencycallsevenwithoutaSIMcard.
3AnswerCalls
Directlypress"answer"keytoansweranincomingcall.Ifyourheadphoneisconnectedtothe
handset,youcanusetheheadphonekeyontheheadphoneanswercalls.

Thishandsetnotonlycanlistallcallsinreversechronologicalorder,butalsolistafloating
menuwithall,answered,dialed,missedcallsforcheckingcallhistoryofdifferentkinds.
5ConnectionOption
Thisoptioncanonlybeseenduringacall.Thewaitingcall,holdcall,multi‐partycallfunctions
