Before gettingstarted, read thefollowingimportantcautions.
1. The GOT-3571Tdoes not comeequippedwithan
operatingsystem.An operating systemmust be loaded first
before installing anysoftware into the computer.
2. Be sure to groundyourselfto prevent static chargewhen
installing the internalcomponents. Use agroundingwrist
strap andplaceall electronic components inany
static-shieldeddevices. Most electronic componentsare
sensitive to static electricalcharge.
3. Disconnect thepower cord fromthe GOT-3571Tbefore
making anyinstallation.Besure boththesystemand the
external devices are turnedOFF. Sudden surge ofpower
could ruin sensitive components. Makesurethe
GOT-3571Tis properlygrounded.
4. The brightness ofthe flat paneldisplaydecreases with
usage. However, hours of use varydepending onthe
applicationenvironment.
5. Turn OFF the systempower before cleaning. Cleanthe
systemusing acloth only.Do not sprayanyliquid cleaner
directlyonto the screen. The GOT-3571Tcomes with a
touch screen.Althoughthe touch screen is chemical
resistant,itis recommended thatyouspraytheliquid
cleaner on acloth first before wipingthescreen. In case
your systemcomes without the touch screen,youmust
followthesameprocedure and not sprayanycleaneron
the flat panel directly.
6. Avoidusing sharp objects to operatethe touch screen.
Scratches onthetouch screen maycausemalfunction or
internal failureto the touch screen.
7. The flat panel displayisnotsusceptible toshock or
vibration. When assembling theGOT-3571T,makesure it
is securelyinstalled.

8. Do notopenthesystem sbackcover. Ifopeningthecover
for maintenance is amust, onlyatrainedtechnicianis
allowedto do so. Integrated circuits on computer boards
are sensitivetostatic electricity.Toavoid damagingchips
fromelectrostatic discharge, observe thefollowing
precautions:
üBefore handling aboard orintegrated circuit, touch an
unpainted portion of the system unit chassis for afew
seconds. This will help to discharge any static electricity on
your body.
üWhen handling boards and components, wear a
wrist-grounding strap, available from mostelectronic
component stores.

1.1 General Description
The GOT-3571T is a5.7”fanless TFT VGAtouch panel computer. It is
equipped withCISI-based lowpower consumption processor,AMD
LX800.
Bysupporting the option of external batteryset, the GOT-3571T can
continue systemoperation ifamain power shortageever happens. In
addition, the PC/104 and Mini-PCIslotsare reservedfor expansion
availability.
The GOT-3571T supportsCompactFlash card and is the best choice
for applications offactoryautomation, machinerymaker,building
automation and semi-conductor.

The GOT-3571T providesan NE2000 compatible Ethernet (RJ-45)
interface. For networkconnection, justplugin onecable endofthe
GOT-3571T 10/100 Base-THub into thestandard RJ-45 connector.
