Toimproveimaequalityforspecicsurveillancescenes,useexposuremodes.Exposuremodesletsyoucontrolaperture,shutter

•Formostusecases,selectAutomaticexposure.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallihtin,forexampleuorescentlihtin,selectFlicker-free.
Selectthesamefrequencyasthepowerlinefrequency.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallihtandbrihtliht,forexampleoutdoorswithuorescentlihtinatnihtand

BenetfromIRlightinlow-lightconditionsbyusingnightmode
Yourcamerausesvisiblelihttodelivercolorimaesdurintheday.Butasthevisiblelihtdiminishes,colorimaesbecomeless
brihtandclear.Ifyouswitchtonihtmodewhenthishappens,thecamerausesbothvisibleandnear-infraredlihttodeliverbriht
anddetailedblack-and-whiteimaesinstead.Youcansetthecameratoswitchtonihtmodeautomatically.
1.GotoVideo>Image>Day-nightmode,andmakesurethattheIR-cutlterissettoAuto.
2.Tosetatwhatlihtlevelyouwantthecameratoswitchtonihtmode,movetheThresholdslidertowardBrightorDark.

Ifyousettheswitchtonihtmodetooccurwhenit’sbrihter,theimaeremainssharperasthereislesslow-lihtnoise.If
yousettheswitchtooccurwhenit’sdarker,theimaecolorsaremaintainedforloner,butthereismoreimaeblurdue

comesfromtheencodindriverofthedevice.Thebitrateintheoverlayistheaveraebitrateofthelast5seconds,
anditcomesfromthebrowser.Bothvaluescoveronlytherawvideostreamandnottheadditionalbandwidth
eneratedwhenit’stransportedoverthenetworkthrouhUDP/TCP/HTTP.
•Adaptivestream:Turnontoadapttheimaeresolutiontotheviewinclient’sactualdisplayresolution,toimprove
theuserexperienceandhelppreventapossibleoverloadoftheclient’shardware.Theadaptivestreamisonly
appliedwhenyouviewthelivevideostreaminthewebinterfaceinabrowser.Whenadaptivestreamisturnedon,
themaximumframerateis30fps.Ifyoutakeasnapshotwhileadaptivestreamisturnedon,itwillusetheimae
