ThecameraattachesaparticularVLAtagtoallitsforwardedmulticastpackages.Themediaconverterswitchmanageshowthese
multicastpackagesareforwardedbetweencameras,mediaconverterswitchesandothernetworkdevices.Thisespeciallyusefulwhen
connectingthecameraandmediaconverterswitchtothenetworkinadaisychain.
Bychangingthepositionofthedipswitches,eachnetworkconnectorportinthemediaconverterswitchcanbecongured
tomanagemulticastsinthreedifferentways.

notintendedformulticastviewing.

VLAtagsareusedtocreateindependentlogicalnetworks,virtuallocalareanetworks(VLAs),withinaphysicalnetwork.Multiple
