What's in the Box
You will need:
• Phillips-head screwdriver and a drill (for wall mount installation)
• HDMI Cable, if you want to set up and use HDMI CEC.
Before setting up your new Soundbar, check you have everything:

The illustration below shows the contents of the wall
mount installation kit. These are the parts you will need
if wall mounting your soundbar and rear speakers.

Wall Mount Installation Kit
• Place the Soundbar on a level surface.
• Place the Soundbar away from any source that
may generate heat or vibrations.
• Make sure there is enough space around the
Soundbar for airflow.
• The remote control works up to 6 metres away
from the Soundbar.
• Unplug the Soundbar before cleaning it.
• Clean using a dry cloth only - do not use water
or chemicals.
• Use only the power supply provided.
• Keep liquid, children and pets away from the
Soundbar at all times.

Installation
This soundbar along with the rear speakers can sit free-standing on a surface, or it can be mounted to a wall.
Note: The subwoofer cannot be wall mounted.
Free-standing
Place on a secure, flat surface. Make sure the soundbar
is standing on its rubber pads (on the left and right sides
of the soundbar) and no other area of the bottom of
soundbar is touching the surface.

Wall mounted
Wall mounting instructions are on the following pages.
• Wall-mounted installation must be carried out
by qualified personnel only. Incorrect assembly
can result in severe personal injury and property
damage! If you intend to install this product yourself,
you must check for installations such as electrical
wiring and plumbing, which may be hidden inside or
behind the wall.
• It is the installer’s responsibility to verify and confirm
that the wall will safely support the total load of the
soundbar and wall brackets.
• Additional tools (not included) are required for the
installation.
• Do not overtighten screws.
• Use an electronic stud finder to check the wall type
before drilling and mounting.

Wall Mounting Instructions (Soundbar)
Use a pencil to make drill hole marks on the wall
for the plastic anchors. Make sure the marks are
level before drilling. Use a 6mm bit and power
drill (not supplied) to drill holes on the marks.
Note: For a wood stud wall, use an electronic
stud detector to locate the centre of the framing
studs before marking and drilling the holes.

Fix the supplied metal brackets to
the bracket fixing holes on the back
of the soundbar with the supplied
short screws. Affix the brackets as
shown in the illustration (left).

For a concrete or brick wall:
Insert the supplied plastic anchors into the holes and
push in until they are flush with the wall. Drive the
supplied long screws into the plastic anchors and
tighten until the screw head is approximately 3mm
from the wall.
For a wood stud wall:
Drive the screws into the wall and tighten until the
screw head is approximately 3mm from the wall.

Slide the soundbar onto the fixed
screws. Make sure that the soundbar is
secure and attached firmly to the wall.

Wall Mounting Instructions (Rear Speakers)
Use a pencil to make drill hole marks on the wall
for the plastic anchors at the desired mounting
location. Make sure the marks are level before
drilling. Use a 6mm bit and power drill (not
supplied) to drill holes on the marks.
Note: For a wood stud wall, use an electronic
stud detector to locate the centre of the framing
studs before marking and drilling the holes.

the supplied long screws into the plastic anchors
and tighten until the screw head is approximately

Slide the rear speakers onto the
fixed screws. Make sure that the rear
speakers are secure and attached
firmly to the wall.

Connect to Power
Make sure the power switch is switched off at the power
outlet until you have finished connecting your cables.
The soundbar must use the 20VDC,
1.8A adaptor and the rear speakers
must use the 20VDC, 1.2A adaptors.

1USB STORAGE Play your stored media files (supported file codecs and extensions
may vary).
2AUX IN SOUND
Use the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to connect the headphone
socket of the connected audio device, such as a media player, to the
AUX IN socket on the unit.
3OPTICAL SOUND
Connect an optical cable (included) to the OPTICAL socket of
your device (e.g. TV, DVD player) and the OPTICAL socket on the
soundbar.
4COAX SOUND Connect a coaxial cable (not included) to the COAX socket of your
device (e.g. TV, DVD player) and the COAX on the soundbar.
5HDMI IN
SOUND Connect to a HDMI supported device like a DVD player or gaming
console using a HDMI cable (not included). Audio will be played
through the soundbar and picture will loop to the HDMI OUT of the
TV. The HDMI IN 1 or 2 input will be automatically detected and
switch to HDMI OUT.

SOUND
HDMI (ARC): The ARC (Audio Return Channel) function allows you
to send audio input from an ARC-compliant TV to an ARC-compliant
audio device (e.g. soundbar) without the need for an additional
3.5mm audio cable connection.
HDMI: The output port will loop through the HDMI IN 1 or HDMI IN
2 picture and audio signals to the TV.

HDMI (ARC)
To use the ARC function, make sure the soundbar's HDMI
(ARC) socket is connected via a HDMI cable (not included)
to the HDMI (ARC) socket of your ARC compliant TV. Then
just use your TV's remote control to adjust the volume
output (VOL +/– and MUTE) of the connected audio device.
In the TV settings menu, turn on the ARC and CEC function
(when CEC is turned on, the sound bar will turn on/off
automatically when the TV is turned on/off).
Note: HDMI IN 1 and HDMI IN 2 inputs only support up to
2K video resolution input (does not support 4K & 8K). The
soundbar will have no sound and video output for inputs
with a higher resolution than 2K.
When you use HDMI connection to
your TV or DVD, the audio output in
the TV or DVD settings menu must
be set to PCM mode (instead of Auto
mode, RAW mode etc.).
7DC IN POWER
Before connecting the AC power adaptor cord, ensure you have
completed all other connections.
Connect the AC power adaptor cord to the DC IN socket first, then
plug in the AC power adaptor to the mains supply socket.

Note: the wireless subwoofer must be manually paired with the soundbar for first time use.
1. Tap the button on the soundbar or press the button on the remote control to turn on the soundbar.
2. Flick the power button on the subwoofer to turn on, the connection indicator will flash blue.
3. Press and hold the button on the soundbar or remote control until "PAIRING" is seen on the LED display,
indicating it is ready to pair.
4. Press and hold the PAIR button on the subwoofer within 15 seconds . The connection indicator will light up blue,
indicating pairing has been successful.

• The subwoofer and soundbar will automatically pair when they are both plugged into the mains sockets and
turned on. No cable is needed for connecting the two.
• Flick the power button on the subwoofer on and the connection indicator will flash blue, meaning it is currently
ready for pairing.
• Turn on the soundbar and it will automatically start pairing with the subwoofer. The connection indicator will light
up blue once connected.
• To turn off the subwoofer, flick the power button off.
• If the wireless connection fails again, check if there is
conflict or strong interference (for example, interference
from an electronic device) around your location.
Remove these conflicts or strong interferences and
repeat the above procedures.
• The subwoofer should be within 6m of the soundbar in
an open area.
For best sound experience, place
the subwoofer on the ground near
the soundbar. The area of around
the subwoofer should be clear of
any obstructions.

Note: the rear speakers must be manually paired with the soundbar for first time use.

2. Using the supplied 20V, 1.2A AC adaptor, plug into the DC IN port and the other end of a mains socket to turn
the rear speaker on, the connection indicator will flash blue.
3. Press and hold the button on the soundbar or remote control until "PAIRING" is seen on the LED display,
indicating it is ready to pair.
4. Press and hold the PAIR button on the rear speaker within 15 seconds . The connection indicator will light up
blue, indicating pairing has been successful.
5. Repeat the above steps to pair with the other rear speaker.

Please ensure that you are using
the 20V, 1.2A AC adaptors for
the rear speakers!

20 | REMOTE CONTROL
Setup
Insert two AAA size batteries according to the polarity
markings (+ / -) inside the compartment. Make sure the
batteries are correctly aligned and properly pushed into
place.
Precautions When Using Batteries
• Do not use old and new batteries together.
• Do not use different types of batteries (e.g.
Manganese and Alkaline batteries) together.
• Remove the batteries from the remote if you do not
intend to use it for a long time.
• When discarding used batteries, follow any
guidelines for recycling and disposal of batteries
that apply in your local area.
• Keep batteries away from children and pets.
• Never throw batteries into a fire or expose them to
extreme heat.
