For a left hand configuration assemble unit as shown below. For a Right Hand configuration switch the •
Head End (1) and the Foot End (2) .
Large L brackets and 5/8" screws are for securing the captain's bed to the top of the units. (see SHEET 7) •
Use cover caps to cover metal cross dowels on top rails only. •

Insert KDs and pins into all appropriate hole. Ensure the arrow on the KDs points towards the edge. •
Lay the top upside down as shown below to start assembly. •
Tighten connections as each piece is being attached. •

Insert KDs and pins into all appropriate holes. Ensure the arrow on the KD points towards the outside •
edge.
Assemble unit as shown below. •

Insert shelf support into ends first
then attach shelves to supports.

Captain's Desk Assembly
Lay top upside down to start assembly. Insert KDs and pins into appropriate holes. Ensure the arrow on •
the kd points toward the outside edge.
Assemble unit as shown below. •
L Brackets are attached after all the units have been put together (see SHEET 7). •

Remove all drawer boxes and secure staircase gable (1) as shown below. •
For a LEFT hand configuration attach gable to the LEFT side of the stairs. For a RIGHT hand configuration attach staircase gable to the RIGHT side of the stairs. •
Extra 6 screws (N) are for securing the staircase to the loft bed. •

Assembly Instructions
Tools Required:
Electric Drill •
#2 Robertson Drill Bit •
STEP 1
* Assemble the large frame, dresser, bookcase
and desk frame as shown below for a Left Hand
configuration. For a Right Hand configuration
switch the dresser and desk frame.
* Lower the captain's bed on to the bottom units
and with the L brackets and 5/8" screws provided
secure the captains bed directly to the tops of the
units
STEP 2
* Line staircase up to bed, ensure the back of
the staircase does not sit on the Chicago bolts.
Attach staircase to dresser and large frame as
shown below.
STEP 3
* Push edge of desk top past front strip and secure
L brackets to desk top from underneath.
