BA-1000 Automatic Air Duct Purifier Set-up Manual
1. Disinfect straw with antibacterial swab provided.
2. Avoid placing in or near high temperatures (~140 degrees Fahrenheit) or in a wet environment
3. Unit must be kept in upright position. Do not lay flat or place sideways
4. Keep air circulating
5. Clean and maintain the system regularly.
6. Do not attempt to repair this machine without speaking with factory
7. Do not connect to a unsafe power supply, make sure unit is grounded
8. The power supply should be located out of the reach of children
9. Do not use system during lightning storm unless protected by a properly sized surge protector.
10. Unplug power supply before cleaning or maintaining the unit
11. Do not use dangerous or poisonous chemicals with equipment; only use hot water for cleaning.
12. Do not sit or stand on the equipment. Do not stand under the unit during installation.
13. Unit will not operate properly if positioned sideways or upside down. BA-008 must be installed level.
14. The BA- 1000 Probiotic bottle should not be refilled by any liquid other than Better Air Probiotic refill supplied by
the manufacturer

BasicSet-Up
1. Plug in the power supply
2. Press the for 5 seconds to turn on the system
3.Plug & Play- The system is ready for use
Basic Overview of Installation on HVAC systems
1) The BA-1000 unit includes a metal cabinet that can be mounted on any wall supporting 45lbs. Inside the cabinet
is an oil less air compressor, preprogrammed control system and a liquid container with our probiotic solution.
2) Once control system operates the compressor the fluid is dispersed into micron-sized droplets which enter the
air duct and are carried by the airflow through the ducts and out of the grills, delivering a safe probiotic layer into
the indoor environment.

Basic Overview of Installation on HVAC systems
3) An electrical connection point is necessary adjacent to the HVAC unit (plug, or direct connection) 115 V / AC
Single Phase breaker rated for a minimum of 10 amps and in accordance with electrical codes in your area. Output
line Installation
1. The output line, the white plastic tube - which should be attached to the transparent rubber hose connected
to the Probiotic container - can be installed through any of the four sides of the duct (top, bottom, or sides).
The line should be inserted at least 1.5” but no more than 3" deep inside the duct.
2. Ensure that output line is facing the direction of air flow to guarantee Probiotic dispersement throughout the
duct.
HVAC system install:
1. Mount the BA-1000 unit to the wall using 2 screws or place the unit near the HVAC system. The supporting wall
must be able to hold a weight of up to 45lbs/20 kg.
2. Drill a hole through the air duct and insert the white plastic tube provided. Attach the transparent rubber hose
to the white plastic tube and connect it to the Probiotic container.
3. On the HVAC system or air handler, connect the white plastic tube to the AC duct at the beginning of the duct
adjacent to the HVAC unit. On smaller Home/Office Central AC units, connect the tube to the blower housing in
proximity to the discharge ducts (flex ducts) or near the return air duct intake.
Bottle Installation
1. Shake the BA-1000 refill bottle well
2. Pour the solution into the aluminum device bottle
3. Open the BA-1000 door
4. Disinfect straw with antibacterial swab provided.
5. Insert and rotate the bottle
6. Close the door
7. Plug the power supply
8. Turn on the machine
*Wrap unit with reflective insulated blanket if
installing in an attic.

Attention: Ensure that white plastic
tube is facing the direction of the air
flow.

In order to set the program to run continuously for
24hrs, please make sure the duration of the program
is set to 00:00 and 23:59 as indicated in figure 1.
1. Press the ENT button, make sure Monday is
selected.
2. Press the ENT button again, the number should
blink. You can change the duration by using the
arrows (Right arrow to select the number you want to
change and the up arrow to change the actual value).
Set the duration to: Change F -> 00:00
Change T -> 23:59
3. Press ENT again
Note: if you wait more than few seconds, the
programming mode will stop: if that happens, please
repeat the process by pressing the ENT button twice
again.

STEP 2 - Select the program that best suits your needs:
1. Press the ENT button twice
2. Click on the right arrow 4 times until you reach W
and P.
3. Use the Up arrow to change the values.
Set values to:
W : 16
P : 720
(In our newest model instead of W and P you’ll find 01,
you won’t need to change the actual value).
4. Press ENT again

the Refill Bottle.

2. Click on the right arrow 4 times until you reach W and P.
3. Use the Up arrow to change the values.

4. Press ENT

1. Press the ENT button twice
2. Click on the right arrow 4 times until you reach W and P.
3. Use the Up arrow to change the values.

1. Press the ENT button twice
2. Click on the right arrow 4 times until you reach W and P.

Program #8 (1 week)
1. Press the ENT button twice
2. Click on the right arrow 4 times until you reach W and P.
3. Use the Up arrow to change the values.

won’t need to change the actual value)
4. Press ENT
Adjust the time
1. Press both arrows at the same time.
2. Once the hour and date icons start blinking, you can
adjust the time and the date by using the right arrow to
select which number you want to change (i.e. hours,
minutes, month,day and year) and the up arrow to
change the actual value.
3. Press ENT
