THIS APPLIANCE HAS A POLARIZED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install a proper outlet.
Do not change the plug in any way.

•Do not use steam cleaner if it has been dropped, damaged, left
outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
•Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, pull
cord around sharp corners or edges, or expose cord to heated surfaces.
•Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
•Do not use appliance in an enclosed space filled with vapor given off
by oil-based paint, paint thinner, some moth-proofing substances,
flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.
•Do not allow to be used as a toy
•Do not use on leather, wax polished furniture or floors, synthetic fabrics,
velvet, or other delicate, steam-sensitive materials.
•Do not immerse in water or liquid.
•Not for space heating purposes.
•Do not use for any purpose other than described in this user guide.
•Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments – use of
attachments not provided or sold by BISSELL® may cause fire, electric
shock or injury.
•Never put descaling, aromatic, alcoholic, detergent or vinegar products
into the steam cleaner, as this may damage it or make it unsafe for use.
•Unplug by grasping the plug, not the cord.
•Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.

Getting Ready to Clean
Note: Use of distilled water in place of tap water is recommended for optimal steam performance
and to prolong the life of your steamer. To add a fresh scent as you clean, try BISSELL® Demineralized
Waters in scents like Citrus, Eucalyptus Mint and Spring Breeze. Do not use chemicals in the water
tank of your machine. Other solutions may harm the machine.
1. Attach mop pad by
wrapping around bottom of
foot. Make sure gray stitching
is in front and Quick Grip
Release™tab is on the back.
2. The Easy Fill water tank
is located on the back of the
machine. Push button on top
of tank and lift out to remove.
3. To fill water tank, remove
grey rubber cap on the back
of tank.

4. Slowly pour 300 mL or
10 oz of distilled water into
steamer. Do not overfill.
5. Close cap by pushing down
and turning clockwise. Steam
will leak out of vents on cap if
not tightly secured.
6. Reinstall Easy Fill water
tank.
WARNING Do not plug in your machine until you are familiar with all instructions and operating procedures.
WARNING Never put descaling, alcoholic, vinegar or detergent products into the steam cleaner, as this may
damage it or make it unsafe for use.
Assembly
1. Attach foot to body by
clicking it into place.
2. Insert handle into body of
machine until it clicks into place.
3. Wrap the cord around the
upper and lower cord wrap.

Cleaning Tips
• Before using your steam mop to clean and sanitize*, thoroughly sweep or vacuum floor.
• Your steam mop is designed to clean hard flooring such as ceramic tile, laminate, marble, stone,
and sealed hardwood floors. Use of your steam mop on waxed or some unwaxed floors may result
in a diminished glossiness. The steam mop is not for use on unsealed floors. For best results, test
in an inconspicuous area and check the care instructions from your flooring manufacturer.
1. Plug machine into an outlet. 2. When machine is plugged
in, the Ready Light will start to
blink. The Ready Light will turn
solid when machine is ready
to use.
3. Step on the back of the foot
to recline the machine and
begin cleaning.
4. Press power button ON. 5. Press steam trigger on
handle to release steam.
Upon the first use of your
steam mop or first use after
refilling the water tank, the
pump may make a “knocking”
sound. This is normal and will
diminish after a few seconds.
6. To sanitize an area of your
floor, use the microfiber mop
pad and slowly and evenly
move machine back and forth
at least three times over the
area using continuous steam.
Remove the mop pad after use
and wash.
*Kills 99.9% of Human Coronavirus (Strain 229E), Influenza A Virus (H1N1), Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella aerogenes, and Aspergillus niger when used as
directed. Testing conducted in a third-party laboratory under controlled conditions. Results may vary.

controlled conditions to ensure it sanitizes and kills 99.9% of germs,
bacteria and viruses*, including Coronavirus and Influenza viruses.

Your steam mop converts into a handheld steamer to clean and sanitize* above floor surfaces.
Plus, when used with the handle attached, it can easily steam high, low and hard-to-reach areas.
Before using your handheld steam cleaner, please note:
•Do not use on porous, hard surfaces.
•Do not use on painted, plastic or vinyl covered surfaces, wax polished furniture or floors,
synthetic materials and fabrics, velvet, leather or other delicate, heat or steam sensitive surfaces,
materials or fabrics.
•To sanitize, only use on non-porous, hard surfaces with the accessory nozzle only.
•Test on an inconspicuous area before first use on a surface. If hard surface is effected, do not use
the steam cleaner to clean.
•Thermal shock can shatter glass. Before cleaning cold glass surface, carefully warm the surface
by directing the steam jet on the glass from a distance of no less than four to six inches.

1. Before changing from
mopping to handheld cleaning,
or when disconnecting tools or
accessories from the handheld
pod, release trigger and wait
30 seconds to ensure steam is
no longer coming from nozzle.
2. To clean above floors using
the handheld pod with the
handle attached, press release
button on the bottom of
machine and detach from foot.
3. Push handle release button
above water tank and lift
handle to remove.
4. Optional: Attach desired
tools (see next section).
5. Plug machine into an outlet.
The Ready Light will start to
blink and will turn solid when
the machine is ready to use.
6. Press the button on the pod
handle to release steam.
To clean and sanitize* hard
surfaces, hold the steam
cleaner 1/2" above hard
surface, press steam trigger
and hold for a minimum of
6 seconds to ensure germs and
bacteria have been eliminated.

Attaching Tools to Machine
1. Connect your desired tool
to the steam nozzle and turn
clockwise to lock.
2. Press the button on the pod
handle to release steam.
Attaching Hose and Tools to Machine
1. Connect hose adapter to steam nozzle. Attach hose and
accessory nozzle by turning clockwise to lock.
2. Attach your desired tool to
the accessory nozzle.
3. Press the button on the pod
handle to release steam.
Using the Fabric Steamer
1. Attach cloth to squeegee. 2. Connect tool to steam
nozzle or accessory nozzle.
Turn clockwise to lock.
3. Press the button on the pod
handle to release steam.

After-Cleaning Care
30s
1. Unplug machine from outlet. 2. Wait 30 seconds to ensure
steam is no longer coming
from the nozzle.
3. Carefully remove mop pad
using the quick grip release
tab from the mop head.
Note: Mop pad and lower
assembly may be hot.
4. Mop pads can be machine
washed in warm water. Use
only liquid detergents. Do not
use fabric softeners or bleach.
For best results, air dry.
5a. Insert foot back into body
of machine until it clicks into
place.
5b. If you removed the handle,
insert handle into body of
machine until it clicks into place.
5. Wrap cord around upper
and lower cord wrap on
the back of the steam mop
and wipe all surfaces of the
machine with a soft cloth.
6. Store upright in a protected, dry area.
Store with dry pads as wet mop pads may damage wood and
other delicate hard floors. Since this product uses water, it
must not be stored where there is danger of freezing. Freezing
will damage internal components and damage may void the
warranty.

Problem Possible Cause Remedies
Reduced steam
OR no steam
Water tank empty. Refill tank.
Handle not installed
properly.
Push the handle all the way into the
machine until it clicks into place.
Foot not installed properly. Insert the body of the machine into the
steam mop foot until it clicks into place.
Mineral deposits from hard
water caused clog.
Contact us.
Streaking
Dirty mop pad. Remove and wash pad per instructions
before further use.
Use on waxed or oiled floor. If you have used floor polishes or wax on
your floors, steam products may decrease
glossiness. Refer to the wax or polish
manufacturer. If you don’t wax or polish
your floors, check the floor care instructions
from your flooring manufacturer.
Leaking Mop pad is too wet. Remove and replace with dry mop pad.
Knocking noise First use or water tank is
empty.
Fill water tank and knocking will diminish
after a few seconds.
