Nous vous recommandons de lire attentivement ce manuel avant l'installation du produit.
Conserver ce manuel pendant toute la durée de vie de votre produit an de pouvoir vous y reporter
à chaque fois que cela sera nécessaire.
Tout usage non conforme à la présente notice peut causer des dommages irréversibles, et entraîner

1.1 Présentation de l'horloge
L'horloge Prol 730 Hôpital (OP) est une horloge analogique encastrable dédiée à un usage en
milieu hospitalier (bloc opératoire).
La présente notice concerne les modèles "Impulsion MIN 24V, SEC 24V et AFNOR". Pour les autres
modèles, se reporter à la notice correspondante.
Impulsion Minute 24V : l’horloge est une réceptrice pilotée par une horloge mère délivrant des
impulsions minute sur ligne parallèle.
Impulsion Seconde 24V : l’horloge est une réceptrice pilotée par une horloge mère délivrant des
impulsions seconde sur ligne parallèle.
AFNOR TBT : l’horloge est une réceptrice pilotée par une horloge mère délivrant des messages
AFNOR NFS-87500A et alimentée par un réseau TBT 6-24V.
1.2 Déballage de l'horloge
Déballer soigneusement l’horloge et vérier le contenu de l’emballage. Celui-ci doit comprendre :
- l'horloge,
- ce manuel ou un guide de démarrage rapide,
Version : une étiquette signalétique collée au dos du produit précise la version de l’horloge.
1.3 Nettoyage
Utiliser un produit antistatique pour le nettoyage de l'horloge.
1.4 Consignes de sécurité - précautions d'utilisation
1.4.1 Utilisation de la notice
Lisez attentivement les consignes de sécurité avant d’installer les horloges.
Observez les conseils de sécurité à tout moment durant l’installation, l’utilisation et l’entretien du
produit.
Identication des pictogrammes :
indique un conseil, une recommandation ou toute autre information pratique,
indique qu’une attention particulière doit être apportée.

1.4.2 Sécurité - Installation du produit
L’installation et la maintenance de cet appareil doivent être e󰀨ectuées par du
personnel qualié.
Installation éléctrique :
Choisir l’emplacement où sera installée l’horloge en privilégiant un endroit exempt de parasites
électriques (transformateur, ...).
L’horloge doit être alimentée par l’installation électrique du bâtiment.
L’installation électrique de ce matériel doit être conforme aux normes électriques en vigueur dans le
pays d’utilisation du produit.
Les conducteurs d’un même circuit doivent être attachés entre eux près du bornier pour éviter une
réduction de l’isolation dans le cas où une des bornes viendrait à se desserrer.
Installation mécanique :
Les vis et chevilles doivent être adaptées à la nature du mur où est xée l’horloge.
La dépose d'un joint de type silicone au dos de l'horloge lors de l'installation est obligatoire pour
assurer une étanchéité IP65 (voir chapitre 2.2 Raccordement et étanchéité de l'horloge).
1.4.3 Sécurité - Ouverture du produit
L’intérieur de cet équipement ne possède pas de pièces réparables par l’utilisateur : contacter
l’assistance clientèle BODET si cet équipement doit être réparé.
Ne jamais ouvrir le produit quand celui-ci est connecté à une source d’alimentation.

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Fixation de l'horloge
1E󰀨ectuer la découpe pour encastrement dans le mur suivant les dimensions indiquées ci-après.
2Présenter l'horloge de manière à marquer l'emplacement des 4 trous de xation.
Reportez-vous également aux entraxes indiqués ci-après.
3Retirer l'horloge et percer les 4 trous Ø6 mm pour y insérer des chevilles.
4Passer le câblage à travers la découpe.
5E󰀨ectuer les branchements au dos de l'horloge suivant votre modèle (voir chapitre suivant).
6Déposer un joint silicone sur l'horloge pour assurer l'étanchéité avec le mur (voir chapitre suivant).
7Fixer l'horloge au mur avec 4 vis Ø4 mm.

Raccorder l’alimentation TBT de 6 à 24 V sur les bornes 1 et 2 du bornier (l de section de 1,5
mm² maximum et dénudé sur 5 mm). Il n’y a pas de polarité à respecter.
Raccorder la ligne temps codé AFNOR aux bornes 3 et 4 du bornier. Il n’y a pas de polarité à
respecter.

3. MISE EN SERVICE ET MISE À L'HEURE
3.1 Réceptrices d'impulsions
Un réseau de distribution horaire n’émet que des impulsions, il est donc nécessaire de mettre les
horloges réceptrices à l’heure de ce réseau.
Il n’est pas nécessaire d’arrêter la distribution pour ajouter une horloge. Il su󰀩t de la mettre à
l’heure avec la molette et elle s’incrémentera d’une unité (Minute ou Seconde en fonction du type
d’impulsions) lors de la réception de la prochaine impulsion de l’horloge mère.
3.1.1 Réceptrice Minute 24V parallèle
Après raccordement de la ligne impulsions au bornier de
l'horloge, laisser fonctionner 2 minutes.
Si l'horloge présente une minute de retard, inverser la
connexion des ls sur le bornier et avancer l'horloge de 2
minutes.
En e󰀨et, la même impulsion est soit positive soit négative
suivant le branchement et en fonction de la position du
mouvement à l’état initial, il aura pris ou non la première
impulsion. Molette

3.1.2 Réceptrice Seconde 24V parallèle
Un réseau de distribution “Seconde” n’émet que des impulsions,
il est donc nécessaire de mettre les horloges réceptrices à
l’heure de ce réseau à l’aide de la molette présente sur le
mouvement.

3.2 Réceptrice AFNOR alimentation TBT
A la mise sous tension, les aiguilles se positionnent à 4h00 ou à midi jusqu’à réception d’un message
horaire. Après la validation des données (3 réceptions successives cohérentes) l’horloge se met à
l’heure automatiquement avec une avance rapide.
Lors d’une coupure de l’alimentation, l’horloge continue à fonctionner pendant plus d’une heure.
Si cette horloge possède une trotteuse, cette dernière s’arrête à midi. Lorsque l’horloge n’a plus de
réserve de marche, elle s’arrête.
Au retour de l’alimentation, si le signal AFNOR est présent, l’horloge se remet à l’heure.
Au retour de l’alimentation, si le signal AFNOR est absent et que la réserve de marche
était vide, alors l’horloge se positionne sur une première position 4h ou 12h.
L’horloge AFNOR se synchronise en continu sur le signal AFNOR sauf entre 14h55
et 16h16 pour ne pas perturber sa phase de contrôle de position des aiguilles.
Une absence de signal d’une durée de 1 heure est autorisée, pendant ce temps l’horloge fonctionne
en autonome. Si le signal revient dans l’heure, l’horloge se recale. Au delà les aiguilles se placent à
midi jusqu’au retour des données.

1.1 Presentation of the clock
The Prol 730 Hospital (OP) clock is a recess-mountable analogue clock designed for hospital use
(operating theatres).
These instructions relate to “24V MIN Impulse, 24V SEC Impulse and AFNOR” models. For other
models, please see the corresponding instructions.
24V Minute Impulse: the clock is a receiver controlled by a master clock that sends minute impulses
on a parallel line.
24V Second Impulse: The clock is a receiver controlled by a master clock that sends second
impulses on a parallel line.
AFNOR ELV: the clock is a receiver controlled by a master clock that sends AFNOR NFS-87500A
messages and powered by a 6-24V low voltage network.
1.2 Unpacking the clock
Carefully unpack the clock and check the contents of the package. This should include:
- the clock,
- this manual or a quick start guide.
Version: at the back of the clock is a product label stating the version of the clock.
1.3 Cleaning
Use an antistatic product to clean the clock.
1.4 Safety instructions - precautions for use
1.4.1 Use of the instructions
Read the safety instructions carefully before installing the clocks.
Observe the safety tips at all times during installation, use and maintenance of the product.

1.4.2 Safety - Installing the product
Installation and maintenance of this device must be carried out by
qualied personnel.
Electrical installation:
Choose a location where to install the clock, preferably away from sources of electrical interference,
such as transformers.
The clock must be powered by the electrical installation of the building.
The electrical installation of this equipment must comply with the electrical standards in force in the
country where the product is used.
Conductors of a same circuit must be attached to each other near the terminal block to prevent
the isolation to be reduced should one of the terminal blocks become loose.
Mechanical installation:
Screws and wall plugs must be adapted to the type of wall where the clock will be attached.
Applying a silicone seal at the back of the clock during the installation is compulsory to provide an
IP65 tightness level (see chapter 2.2 Connection and tightness of the clock).
1.4.3 Safety - Opening the product
There are no user-serviceable parts inside this equipment. Please contact BODET customer support
if the equipment needs to be repaired.
Never open the product while it is connected to a power source.

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Clock mounting options
1Make the cut-out for recess mounting in the wall according to the dimensions below.
2Place the clock so as to mark the location of the 4 xing holes.
Please also refer to the following centre distances.
3Remove the clock and drill 4 holes Ø6 mm to insert wall plugs.
4Feed the cable through the cut-out.
5Make the connections at the back of the clock depending on your model (see next chapter).
6Apply a silicone seal on the clock to ensure tightness with the wall (see next chapter).
7Attach the clock to the wall using 4 screws Ø4 mm.

3. INITIAL STARTUP AND TIME SETTING
3.1 Impulse slave clock
A time distribution network emits only impulses, so it is necessary to set the slave clocks at the time
of this network.
It is not necessary to stop the distribution to add a clock. It is enough to set it on time using the thumb
wheel and when it will receive the next impulse from the master clock, it will add a unit (Minute or
Second according to the type of impulse).
3.1.1 Minute 24V // receiver
After connecting the impulse line to the terminal of the
clock, allow to run for 2 minutes.
If the clock is one minute late, reverse the connection of
the wires on the terminal block and advance the clock by
2 minutes.
In fact, the same impulse is either positive or negative
depending on the way to connect and depending on the
initial position of the movement, it will take or not the rst

3.1.2 Second 24V // receiver
A “Second” distribution network emits only impulses.
It is then necessary to set the slave clocks at the time of
this network using the thumb wheel on the movement.

3.2 AFNOR clocks with ELV power supply
When rst powered on, the clock hands are set at 4:00 or at noon until a time message is received.
Once the data is validated (three successive coherent messages received), the clock will automatically
set itself to the correct time with a fast advance.
Without power supply, the clock operates for more than one hour.
If the clock has got a second hand, the latter stops at 12h. When the clock has no more running
reserve, it stops.
When power is restored, if the AFNOR signal is present, the clock resets itself to the correct time.
It the AFNOR signal is absent and the power reserve is empty, the clock is set to a rst position (4h
or 12h).
The AFNOR clock synchronises continuously with the AFNOR signal except between
2:55 p.m. and 4:16 p.m. to avoid disturbance on the control of its hands’ position.
A lack of signal of 1 hour is allowed; during that time, the clock operates on its own. If the signal
comes back within the hour, the clock resets itself to the correct time. After 1 hour, the hands are set
at noon until data is retrieved.
