1. INITIAL CHECKS AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Thank you for choosing a Bodet clock. This product has been carefully designed to ensure your
satisfaction, adhering to quality processes ISO9001 and ISO14001.
We recommend that you read this manual carefully before installing the product.
Retain this manual for reference throughout the lifespan of your product so that you can refer to it
when necessary.
Failure to observe these instructions may cause irreversible damage and invalidate the warranty.
In that case, Bodet cannot be held liable.

These instructions relate to the “DHF” model.
1.1 Unpacking the clock
Carefully unpack the clock and check the contents of the package. This must include:
- the clock,
- the xing disc,
- this manual or a quick start guide.
Version: On the back of the clock is a product label stating the version of the clock.
1.2 Cleaning
Use an anti-static product. Never use alcohol, acetone or other solvents, which may damage the
clock’s casing or glass.
1.3 Safety instructions - precautions for use
Read the safety instructions carefully before installing the clocks.
Observe the safety tips at all times during installation, use and maintenance of the product.

Installing the product
Installation and maintenance of this device must be carried out by

1.4 Presentation of the product
1.4.1 Description of the clock
The Prol 930 L is an eco-designed solar clock with hour- minute display and DHF radio
synchronisation.
The product is powered by integrated solar cells. There is no wiring required.
For the sake of eco-design, this product does not include any battery.

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Pre-requisites
2.1.1 Installation environment
Select the place where the clock will be installed while making sure that the radio reception is correct.
The radio slave clock should be installed in a place free from electrical interferences (transformers,
neon and halogen lights...).
Avoid xing the clock directly to a metallic or reinforced concrete wall.
2.1.2 Light exposure of the clock
The power supply of the clock is provided by its cells that capture ambient light. The clock runs via
exposure to natural or articial light. As such, it is best choosing a well-lit place (near a bay window,
a light source...).
In order for the clock to keep running continuously, it has to be exposed to 150 lux for
10 hours, 5 days a week.
The minimum operating and charging level is 100 lux.
2.2 Installation process
1- Set the master clock in INIT mode. Refer to the product manual.
The INIT mode of the master clock must be reactivated every 4 hours.
2- Unpack the clock with its xing disc and check the contents of the package.
3- Charge the product via the Type B micro-USB connector. The red LED switches on during the
charging process.
4- Disconnect the USB charger from the clock when the green LED switches on: the initial charging
(lasting about 1 minute) is then complete.
5- Set the switch on “ON” mode: the product switches on and the hands are set at noon.
6- The clock seeks to synchronise in DHF. INIT mode is activated by default when the clock switches
on until it is paired with a transmitter.
7- When the clock synchronises with the transmitter, the hands move into position.
8- Proceed to the mechanical installation of the clock, according to the desired mounting option (wall
or double-sided mounting). See chapters 2.3.1 Wall mounting and 2.3.2. Double-sided mounting.
9- Stop the INIT mode on the master clock when all the clocks are installed.

2.3 Clock mounting options
2 mounting options are available: wall or double-sided bracket.
Make sure that the installation location is free from obstacles between the clock and
light sources. For ideal exposure, place the clock at least 80 cm below articial light
sources.
2.3.1 Wall mounting
1Attach the xing disc of the clock to the wall using 3 screws Ø4 mm and 3 wall plugs.
2Clip the clock into the xing disc.
3Tighten the retaining screw at the bottom of the clock.

It is also possible to install the clock with a single xing point (keyhole in the xing
disc). In that case, rst assemble the xing disc with the clock.

2.3.2 Double-sided mounting
1Attach the xing disc of each clock to the bracket using the 3 screws Ø4 mm and the 3 square
nuts.
2Attach the bracket to the wall or ceiling using 2 screws Ø6 mm.
3Clip every clock into its xing disc.
4Tighten the retaining screw at the bottom of each clock.

3. CONTROL
3.1 Measurement of light level
In order for the clock to be su󰀩ciently exposed to light by choosing the right location, it is possible
to measure the light perceived by the clock.
This measurement can be done during commissioning or if the clock is already
running.
Todo so:
1- Pre-position the clock (position/orientation) to the desired location, making sure that it is free
from obstacles between the clock and light sources.
2- Briey press the INIT button.
3- The clock set the hands at noon and then measures the perceived light.
4- The clock then displays the perceived light level via the minute hand for 5 seconds, before
resetting the hands at noon.
Refer to the image and table below to interpret the light level display and establish the minimum
light exposure time required for the clock.
Reminder: in order for the clock to keep running continuously, it has to be exposed
to 150 lux for 10 hours, 5 days a week.
The minimum operating and charging level is 100 lux.

Measurement accuracy: +/- 10 lux.
In the following example, the clock measures
and displays an ambient light of 250 lux.
Following the interpretation of the light level perceived by the clock, choosing another
location with better light exposure may be necessary.
5- The clock seeks DHF synchronisation once again with a transmitter in INIT mode (during
commissioning), or it will set the time if it is already paired.

3.2 INIT mode
The INIT mode allows for carrying out the pairing between the clock to be synchronised and the
DHF transmitter. It is activated as factory default, when the clock switches on until it is paired with a
transmitter.
To connect the clock with the transmitter or another transmitter, press the INIT button for 5 seconds
to set the clock in INIT mode.
This operation can be done at all times after setting the hands at noon for the rst
time, when the clock switches on.
Activating the INIT mode is only useful when changing the DHF transmitter (as well
as the channel).
• Clock behaviour:
When the clock is brought into service (when it switches on) or during the activation of the INIT
mode, the hands are set back at noon and the product switches to radio listening (synchronisation
process with the DHF transmitter) only if the clock has enough power to do so. If this is the case,
the clock will be set on time.
• Behaviour of the orange INIT LED:
The INIT LED indicates that the INIT mode has been activated and that the DHF INIT listening
windows are open.
Refer to the diagram below to interpret the status of the INIT LED according to the status of the
clock:

If the INIT LED has not been activated when the clock switches on (commissioning)
or if it is denitely deactivated after the hands have been reset at noon, or during
the synchronisation search cycles, then the clock no longer has enough power. In
that case, it is recommended to charge the clock via USB and choose a location with
better light exposure if necessary.

4. CLOCK BEHAVIOUR
4.1 Period without light
If the clock is in complete darkness for more than 60 hours or no longer has enough power, the
hands are set back at noon.
Once there is enough light exposure, the clock is set back on time.
4.2 Period and lack of DHF synchronisation
DHF synchronisation is performed when the clock switches on, then twice a day: at 4 am and 4 pm.
After 7 days without DHF synchronisation, the hands are set at noon.

6. WHAT TO DO IF…

2) Check clock synchronisation:
- Pairing during installation: see case described above (“No
synchronisation during installation”).
- Following the initial pairing:
• Check that the DHF transmitter is operational and still
transmitting on the same channel as when installing the clock.
• Check that the clock is not too far from the DHF transmitter.

1.1 Déballage de l'horloge
Déballer soigneusement l’horloge et vérier le contenu de l’emballage. Celui-ci doit comprendre :
- l'horloge,
- le disque de xation,
- ce manuel ou un guide de démarrage rapide,
Version : une étiquette signalétique collée au dos du produit précise la version de l’horloge.
1.2 Nettoyage
Utiliser un produit antistatique. Ne jamais utiliser d’alcool, d’acétone ou autres solvants susceptibles
d’endommager le boîtier et la vitre de l’horloge.
1.3 Consignes de sécurité - précautions d'utilisation
Lisez attentivement les consignes de sécurité avant d’installer les horloges.
Observez les conseils de sécurité à tout moment durant l’installation, l’utilisation et l’entretien du
produit.

1.4 Présentation du produit
1.4.1 Descriptif de l'horloge
L'horloge Prol 930 L est une horloge solaire éco-conçue avec a󰀩chage Heure-Minute et
synchronisation radio DHF.
Le produit est alimenté grâce à des cellules solaires intégrées. Il n'y a aucun câblage à e󰀨ectuer.
Pour assurer une éco-conception, le produit ne comporte aucune batterie.

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Pré-requis
2.1.1 Environnement d'installation
Choisir l’emplacement où sera installée l’horloge en s’assurant que la réception radio soit correcte.
L’horloge réceptrice radio sera installée dans un endroit exempt de parasites électriques
(transformateur, luminaires au néon et halogènes...) pouvant générer des interférences.
Eviter de xer l’horloge directement contre une paroi métallique ou du béton armé.
2.1.2 Exposition lumineuse de l'horloge
L'alimentation électrique de l'horloge est assurée par ses cellules captant la luminosité ambiante.
L'horloge fonctionne grâce à une exposition à la lumière naturelle ou artifcielle. Il convient donc
de favoriser les emplacements les mieux exposés (à proximité d'une baie vitrée, d'une source
d'éclairage,...).
Pour fonctionner sans discontinuer, l’horloge doit être exposée à un éclairement de
150 Lux pendant 10h à raison de 5 jours par semaine.
Le niveau minimal de fonctionnement et de charge est de 100 Lux.
2.2 Procédure d'installation
1- Mettre l'horloge mère en mode INIT. Se référer à la notice du produit.
Le mode INIT de l'horloge mère doit être réactivé toutes les 4h.
2- Déballer l'horloge avec son disque de xation et vérier le contenu de l'emballage.
3- Charger le produit via le connecteur Micro-USB type B. La LED rouge s'allume pendant la charge.
4- Déconnecter le chargeur USB de l'horloge quand la LED verte s'allume : la charge initiale (d'une
durée d'environ 1 minute) est alors complète.
5- Basculer l'interrupteur ON/OFF sur ON : le produit démarre et repositionne les aiguilles à midi.
6- L'horloge cherche à se synchroniser en DHF. Le mode INIT est activé par défaut au
démarrage de l'horloge tant que celle-ci n'a pas été appairée avec un émetteur.
7- Quand l'horloge est synchronisée avec l'émetteur, les aiguilles se mettent en position.
8- Procéder à l'installation mécanique de l'horloge suivant la xation souhaitée (murale ou double
face). Voir les chapitres 2.3.1 Fixation murale et 2.3.2. Montage double face.
9- Arrêter le mode INIT sur l'horloge mère quand toutes les horloges sont installées.

2.3 Fixation de l'horloge
Il existe 2 types de xation : murale ou double face avec potence.
Veiller à ce qu'il n'y ait pas d'obstacle positionné entre l'emplacement d'installation de
l'horloge et les sources de lumière. Pour une exposition idéale, positionner l'horloge à
au moins 80 cm sous les sources lumineuses articielles.
2.3.1 Fixation murale
1Fixer le disque de xation de l'horloge au mur avec 3 vis Ø4 mm et 3 chevilles.
2Clipser l'horloge au disque de xation.
3Serrer la vis de maintien en bas de l'horloge.

Il est également possible d'installer l'horloge avec un seul point de xation (trou de serrure
dans le disque). Dans ce cas, assembler d'abord le disque de xation avec l'horloge.

2.3.2 Montage double face
1Assembler le disque de xation de chaque horloge à la potence avec les 3 vis Ø4 mm et les 3
écrous carrés.
2Fixer la potence au mur ou au plafond avec 2 vis Ø6 mm.
3Clipser chaque horloge à son disque de xation.
4Serrer la vis de maintien en bas de chaque horloge.

3. COMMANDES
3.1 Mesure du niveau de luminosité
An d'assurer à l'horloge une exposition à la lumière su󰀩sante par le choix d'un emplacement
d'installation correct, il est possible de déclencher une mesure de la luminosité perçue par l'horloge.
Cette mesure peut s'e󰀨ectuer lors de la mise en service ou si l'horloge est en
fonctionnement.
Pour ce faire :
1- Prépositionner l'horloge (position/orientation) à l'emplacement d'installation souhaité en veillant
à l'absence d'obstacle entre l'horloge et les sources de lumière.
2- E󰀨ectuer un appui court sur le bouton INIT.
3- L'horloge lance une remise à midi des aiguilles puis une mesure de la luminosité perçue.
4- L'horloge a󰀩che ensuite le niveau de luminosité perçu avec l'aiguille des minutes pendant 5
secondes avant de se repositionner sur midi.
Reportez-vous au visuel et au tableau ci-dessous pour interpréter l'a󰀩chage du niveau de
luminosité et en déduire le temps d'exposition minimum à la lumière requis pour l'horloge.
Rappel: pour fonctionner sans discontinuer, l’horloge doit être exposée à un
éclairement de 150 Lux pendant 10h à raison de 5 jours par semaine.
Le niveau minimal de fonctionnement et de charge est de 100 Lux.

Précision de la mesure : +/- 10 Lux.
Dans l'exemple ci-contre, l'horloge mesure et
a󰀩che une luminosité ambiante de 250 Lux.
Suite à l'interprétation du niveau de luminosité perçu par l'horloge, le choix d'un autre
emplacement d'installation plus lumineux peut s'avérer nécessaire.
5- L'horloge reprend sa recherche de synchronisation DHF avec un émetteur en mode INIT (à la
mise en service) ou se mettra à l'heure si elle est déjà appairée.
