NOTE
Do not install the unit in a place vulnerable to leakage of flammable
gases.
Once flammable gases are leaked and left around the wire controller,
fire may occur.
Do not install the unit in a place vulnerable to humidity or high
temperature.
Otherwise this may short circuit the equipment and cause faults.
The wiring shall adapt to the wire controller current.
The specified cables shall be applied in the wiring. No external force
may be applied to the terminal.

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. APPLICATIONS
For the connection between the central A/C system and the Building
Management System (BMS) (namely Automated Building System)
with LonWorks® interfaces by realisng the integration of A/C system
and Building Management system.
1.2. FEATURES
■Connect the central A/C system to LonWorks® network.
■ Comply with LonMark® Standard, gateways is a intelligent node
base on LonWorks® technique.
■ The core control module of node apply Flash Memory, which
application program could be downloaded on line.
■ Connect to LonWorks® network by twisted pair line, and the
communication mode is nonpolar.
■ Provide with a LonWorks® control interface for BMS by network
variables complying with LonMark® standard.
■LonWorks® interoperability Guidelines Version 3.4 Compliance
■ LonWorks gateway between LonMark/LonTalk® protocol and MDPP
(Private protocol).
■The gateway can convert the lonTalk protocol to the MDPP protocol.
■Connection to 64(MAX) indoor units.
■Valid address for each unit: 0x00~0x3F.

3.1. INFORMATION COLLECTION
This equipment provides information collected from the air
conditioning systems and reports through a BMS system.
3.2. OPERATION CONTROL
The Unit provides BMS control of the air conditioning equipment.
You can change the operation mode, fan speed and the temperature
setting through the BMS.
CAUTION
1. Setting range of some air conditioner parameters are smaller than
the LNS’s. Please refer to the operation manual to set the expected
value;
2. When use LNS to operate the air conditioner, it is suggested that
set mode, fan speed, and temperature to be the expected one
at a time.
3. Do not frequently use upper computer system as LNS etc. to send
or control orders to the air conditioner devices, for avoiding that
the operation state of the units may differ from the operation
expectation. Suggest that the operation interval time should be
over 10s, to make sure the timeliness and effectiveness of the
state changing of the air conditioners.
4. If suspension installed, make sure put the power supply termnal at
the upper side.

4. NETWORK VARIABLE CHARTS
CAUTION
This system adopts the manner of shared network variable to manage
A/C system, which cannot access the appointed A/C within central
A/C system, until the corresponding network variable is modified
to the one that is intended to access. This device consists of two
transceivers (the following called Main controller and Auxiliary
controller for short); Main controller is responsible for querying
and setting of 32 sets air conditioners with addresses of 0~31 and
unified setting all the air conditioners (64 sets at most), and Auxiliary
controller is responsible for querying and setting of 32 sets air
conditioners with addresses of 32~63.

setting between 17~30, only treat its integer part, such
as 24.5, it will be treated as 24
For upper side unit systems: be rounded to 2 decimal

* First power on, if there are no prior settings to the mode and fan speed, but the set temperature has, the device will start in cool mode and low fan
speed;
* First power on, if there are no prior settings to the mode or temperature, but the fan speed has been preset, the device will operate in cool mode at
24 degrees;
* If there are no prior settings to the temperature and fan speed, but set to cool mode, then all the air conditioners will be operated as the cool mode,
24 degree, and low fan speed;
* If there are not prior settings to the temperature and fan speed, but set to heat mode, then all the air conditioners will be operated as the heat mode,
24 degree, and low fan speed (Note: When set to heat mode the indoor unit will pre-heat first before the fan on the indoor unit will start.);
* Each time you only can set one of the mode settings, fan speed setting and temperature setting; combined setting must be finished individually.
