Een product dat u steeds opnieuw laat genieten van kaas. Elk BOSKA product voldoet aan de hoogste

1. OMSCHRIJVING

Voor een kwart raclettekaas, 220V
2. INSTALLATIE
Plaats het warmte-element op de betonnen basis in de vierkante uitsparing en draai de arm met de zwarte
schroefknop en de moer aan de onderzijde vast. Steek de draaiarm in de grondplaat en zet hier vervolgens
de kaashouder op.
Controleer of de voltageaanduiding (220V) op het product overeenkomt met de voedingsspanning.
Het raclette-apparaat is aan te sluiten op het lichtnet door het bijgeleverde snoer aan het apparaat
te bevestigen (het snoer zit vast aan het verwarmingselement) en vervolgens de netstekker in het
stopcontact te steken.
3. GEBRUIK
Reinig voor het eerste gebruik de kaashouder (zie ook 4. Reiniging). Het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld door
de stekker in het stopcontact te steken. Draai de kaashouder, zonder dat er kaas op bevestigd zit, buiten
het bereik van het hitte-element. Het apparaat moet ongeveer 5 minuten voorverwarmen. Bij een eerste
gebruik kan het voorkomen dat er (zich) een kleine hoeveelheid rook ontwikkelt.
Plaats de kaas op de kaashouder. De kwart kaas met de korst op de punten van de kaashouder steken,
waarbij de halfronde handgrepen hanteerbaar blijven. Draai de kaashouder zodat de kaas zich direct onder
het hitte-element bevindt. Zorg dat het te smelten oppervlak parallel staat aan het hitte-element, op
ongeveer 2 cm afstand.

4. REINIGING
Zorg dat de stekker uit het stopcontact is en verzeker uzelf ervan dat het apparaat volledig is afgekoeld.
Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen. Neem het apparaat af met een
vochtige doek met afwasmiddel. Gebruik nooit harde borstels, krassende materialen, sodahoudende,
desinfecterende of agressieve middelen voor het reinigen.

Recept
Traditionele Raclette
INGREDIËNTEN
• raclettekaas
• 2 à 3 aardappelen per persoon
• zure augurken en/of zilveruitjes
• plakken rauwe ham
• peper en zout
BEREIDING
• Kook de aardappelen in de schil, serveer ze (eventueel in plakken) op een schaal;
• Installeer het raclette apparaat en laat de kaas smelten;
• Schraap de gesmolten kaas op een bord met de aardappel, augurk of zilverui en rauwe ham;
• Na vier of vijf keer smelten zit er aan de randen van het snijvlak een knapperige rand.
Snij deze af en leg hem boven op het smeltvlak, zodat deze lekker knapperig wordt en met de volgende
raclette meegeschraapt wordt. Deze knapperige korst wordt ‘religieuse’ genoemd en is een echte
lekkernij die traditioneel aan de gasten wordt aangeboden;
• Breng het geheel eventueel op smaak met peper en zout;
Raclette kan naar eigen smaak gevarieerd worden en is bijvoorbeeld ook erg lekker met stokbrood, tomaat,
champignons, ananas, olijven, bleekselderij, broccoli en andere groente. Heerlijk te combineren met een
glas droge witte wijn of thee.

For a quarter raclette cheese, 220V
2. INSTALLATION
Place the heating element on the concrete base in the square opening and fasten the arm with the screw
and nut on the underside. Insert the rotating arm into the base plate and place the cheese holder on the
rotating arm. Check whether the voltage requirement (220V) of the product corresponds with the power
supply voltage. The raclette machine can be connected to the power supply by attaching the power
cord included to the machine (the power cord of the Quattro is connected to the heating element) and
plugging it into the socket.
3. USE
Clean the cheese holder prior to first use (see 4. Cleaning). The machine is switched on by plugging the
power cord into the socket. Prior to placing the cheese on the cheese holder, move the cheese holder out
of the range of the heating element. The machine requires approximately 5 minutes of preheating.
During the first use, it is possible for a small amount of smoke to develop.
Place the cheese on the cheese holder. For the Quattro, the points of the cheese holder are inserted into
the rind of he the quarter cheese, allowing the semicircular handles to be used. Turn the cheese holder so
that the cheese is directly under the heating element. Make sure the surface to be heated is parallel to the
heating element at a distance of approximately 2 cm.

Unplug the machine directly after use and let the machine cool off completely before touching it.
4. CLEANING
Make sure the machine is unplugged and is completely cool. Never immerse the machine in water or
other fluids. Wipe the machine clean with a moist cloth with some dishwashing liquid. Never use hard
brushes, abrasive or aggressive materials, or materials containing sodium carbonate or disinfectants to
clean the machine.
WARNING!!!
• PREVENT SHORT CIRCUITS; MAKE SURE THE MACHINE NEVER COMES INTO DIRECT CONTACT WITH
WATER OR OTHER FLUIDS;
• ALWAYS PLACETHE MACHINE ON A STABLE, LEVEL SURFACE;
• NEVER PLACE FLAMMABLE MATERIALS (CLOTH, PAPER, ETC.) NEARTHE MACHINE WHEN IN USE;
• NEVER LEAVE THE MACHINE UNSUPERVISED WHEN IT IS PLUGGED IN;
• NEVER LET CHILDREN OPERATETHE MACHINE;
• DURING USE,THE MACHINE BECOMES EXTREMELY HOT. AFTER USE, LETTHE MACHINE COOL OFF
COMPLETELY BEFORE TOUCHING IT;
• UNPLUGTHE MACHINE WHEN NO LONGER IN USE;
• DO NOT USETHE MACHINE IFTHE POWER CORD OR PLUG IS DAMAGED;
• REPAIRS MUST BE CARRIEDOUT BY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS.

Recipe
Traditional Raclette
INGREDIËNTS
• raclette cheese
• 2 or 3 potatoes per person
• pickles and/or pearl onions
• slices of raw ham
• salt and pepper
PREPARATION
• Boil the potatoes in their skins and serve them on a plate (sliced if so desired);
• Set up the raclette machine and let the cheese melt;
• Scrape the melted cheese onto a plate with the potato, pickle or pearl onion, and raw ham;
• After melting the cheese four or five times, a crispy edge will form on the edge of the cutting surface.
Remove this and place it over the melting surface so it becomes extra crispy and is scrapped off with the
next raclette. This crispy crust is called “religieuse” and is a delicacy that is traditionally offered to guests;
• Add pepper and nutmeg to taste.
Raclette can be varied to taste and is also delicious with, for example, baguette, tomato, mushrooms,
pineapple, olives, celery, broccoli and other vegetables. Goes wonderfully with a glass of dry white wine or
tea.

2. INSTALLATION
Installez la rampe chauffante dans l’encoche carrée de la base en béton et fixez le bras avec le bouton noir
et l’écrou en-dessous. Puis installez le bras pivotant avec le porte-fromage sur la base.
Vérifiez que le voltage indiqué sur l’appareil (220V) correspond bien à votre alimentation électrique.
Introduisez le fil fourni dans l’appareil (sur le modèle Quattro le cordon est fixé sur la rampe), puis
branchez-le sur la prise de courant.
3. UTILISATION
Nettoyez le porte-fromage avant la première utilisation (voir 4. NETTOYAGE). L’appareil se met en marche
quand le fil est branché sur une prise de courant. Faites pivoter le porte-fromage de façon à l’éloigner de
la source de chaleur et faites préchauffer l’appareil pendant 5 minutes. Lors de la première utilisation une
légère fumée peut se produire.
Posez le fromage sur le porte-fromage. Pour le modèle Quattro le quart de meule doit être posé sur les
pointes, en laissant les poignées arrondies libres. Faites pivoter le porte-fromage pour le positionner sous
la rampe chauffante. Veillez à ce que la surface à faire fondre soit parallèle à la rampe à environ 2 cm de
distance.
