Safety Instructions
The machine is intended for commercial and indoor use
by trained and skilled personnel familiar with these
instructions.
Never bypass the safety interlocks on the appliance.
Blades are sharp - handle with care !
• Position on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out
installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any
components on this product.

• DO NOT use jet/pressure washers to clean the appliance.
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
• This appliance is only used for crushing ice. Do not use the
appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• Switch off and disconnect from power supply when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling, and before cleaning.
• Avoid contacting moving parts. Never place fingers or other
utensils into feeding or discharge areas.
• Ensure to check ice chute for the presence of foreign objects
before use. Use original attachments only to prevent any
damage.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge.

• This appliance must not be used by children under any
circumstances.
• ALWAYS keep hands, hair and clothing away from the moving
parts.

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a

order to avoid a hazard.

should include, but not be limited to: Visual Inspection,

Installation
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging. Make sure that all protective plastic film and plastic
coatings are thoroughly removed from all surfaces.
2. Place the appliance on a flat surface, ensuring the suction feet on the bottom get a firm grip.

Before first use
1. Open the lid and wipe it clean.
2. Put a container beneath the spout, then pour warm water
through the ice jar to rinse the system thoroughly.
3. Empty the container and put it beneath the spout to
collect ice cubes.
Operation
1. Drop ice cubes into the ice chute. (Note: Suitable for
cubes up to 2x2x2 cm)
2. Close the lid in place.
3. Connect to the mains power supply and press the power
switch to start.
Warning: The blades of the crusher are self feeding!
Do not attempt to push cubes into blades with hand
or instrument.
Note: With the safety microswitch, the appliance
will stop automatically once the lid is opened during
operation.
4. After use, press the power switch again to turn Off. Then
disconnect from power supply.

1. Should a large cube get blocked in the crushing unit, press the power switch to turn Off. Then unplug
the unit.
2. Pour warm water through the ice jar to melt ice blockage.
3. Re-plug and re-start the appliance.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
• Pour warm water through the ice jar to rinse the system thoroughly.
• Wipe the appliance housing with a damp cloth. Dry well afterwards.
Troubleshooting
A qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Inleiding
Neem de tijd om deze handleiding aandachtig door te lezen. Correct gebruik en onderhoud van deze
machine waarborgt de beste prestatie van uw BUFFALO-product.
Verpakkingsinhoud

Mocht uw product door transport beschadigd zijn, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met uw BUFFALO-

Installatie
1. Verwijder het toestel uit de verpakking. Zorg ervoor dat alle beschermende plasticfolie en
bedekkingen grondig van alle oppervlakken verwijderd worden.
2. Plaats het toestel op een vlak oppervlak en zorg daarbij dat de zuignappen aan de onderzijde een
stevige grip krijgen.

Voor het eerste gebruik
1. Open de deksel en veeg het schoon.
2. Zet een bakje onder de uitloop en giet vervolgens warm
water door de ijskan om het systeem grondig te spoelen.
3. Leeg het bakje en zet het onder de uitloop om ijsblokjes
op te vangen.
Werking
1. Laat ijsblokjes in de ijstrechter vallen.
(Opmerking: Geschikt voor blokjes tot 2 x 2 x 2 cm)
2. Sluit de deksel op zijn plaats.
3. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact en druk op de aan/
uit-schakelaar om het op te starten.
Waarschuwing: De messen van de ijsvergruizer zijn
zelfvoedend! Probeer geen ijsblokjes met de hand of
met een voorwerp in de messen te duwen.
Opmerking: Met de veiligheidsmicroschakelaar zal
het apparaat automatisch stoppen zodra de deksel
tijdens de werking wordt geopend.
4. Druk na gebruik nogmaals op de aan/uit-schakelaar om
uit te schakelen en haal vervolgens de stekker uit het
stopcontact.

Verstopping door ijsblokjes
1. Mocht er een groot ijsblokje in het apparaat vast komen te zitten, druk dan op de aan/uit-schakelaar
om het apparaat uit te zetten. Trek vervolgens de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Giet warm water door de ijskan om de verstopping van de ijsblokjes te laten smelten.
3. Steek de stekker weer in het stopcontact en start het apparaat opnieuw op.
Reiniging, Verzorging & Onderhoud
• Zet het apparaat altijd uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het schoonmaakt.
• Giet warm water door de ijskan om het systeem grondig te spoelen.
• Veeg de behuizing van het apparaat af met een vochtige doek. Droog het daarna goed af.
Oplossen van problemen
Indien nodig dient een gekwalificeerde technicus reparaties uit te voeren.

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L
• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N
• Aardekabel (groen/geel) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met E
Dit apparaat moet worden geaard.
Raadpleeg bij twijfel een vakkundige elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling
moeten de isolatiepunten direct toegankelijk zijn.

• Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane, stable.
• L’installation et les éventuelles réparations doivent être
confiées à un dépanneur / technicien qualifié. Ne retirez aucun
composant ou cache de ce produit.
• Consultez les normes locales et nationales pour vous
conformer aux :
- lois sur l’hygiène et la sécurité au travail ;
- codes de bonnes pratiques BS EN ;
- précautions contre le risque d’incendie ;
- réglementations sur les branchements électriques IEE ;

• Un cordon d’alimentation endommagé doit être remplacé par

appareil (une fois par an au minimum) par une personne
compétente. Le test devrait inclure, entre autres : inspection
visuelle, test de polarité, la continuité de masse, test d’isolation
et test de fonctionnement.

Installation
1. Retirer l’appareil de l’emballage. S’assurer que le film de protection et les revêtements en plastique
soient correctement retirés de toutes les surfaces.
2. Placer l’appareil sur une surface plate et veiller à ce que les ventouses placées sous le socle adhèrent
fermement.

Avant la première utilisation
1. Ouvrez le couvercle et nettoyez-le
2. Posez un récipient sous le bec verseur et versez de l’eau
chaude dans le bol du broyeur pour rincer entièrement le
système.
3. Branchez l’appareil et appuyez sur le bouton de
l’alimentation pour démarrer.
Fonctionnement
1. Faites tomber les glaçons par la goulotte de l’appareil.
(Remarque : Adapté à des glaçons de 2 x 2 x 2 cm)
2. Refermez le couvercle.
3. Branchez l’appareil et appuyez sur le bouton de
l’alimentation pour le démarrer.
Attention : Les lames du broyeur sont en alimentation
libre ! N’essayez pas de pousser les glaçons vers les
lames avec votre main ou avec un ustensile.
Remarque : Avec le microrupteur de sécurité,
l’appareil s’arrête automatiquement si le couvercle
s’ouvre pendant l’opération.
4. Après utilisation, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton
de l’alimentation pour éteindre. Débranchez ensuite
l’appareil.

1. Si un gros glaçon reste bloqué dans l’unité de broyage, appuyez sur le bouton de l’alimentation pour
éteindre, puis débranchez l’appareil.
2. Versez de l’eau chaude dans le bol du broyeur pour faire fondre le glaçon bloqué.
3. Rebranchez et redémarrez la machine.
Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance
• Éteignez et débranchez toujours l’appareil avant de le nettoyer.
• Versez de l’eau chaude dans le bol du broyeur pour rincer entièrement le système.
• Essuyez l’enceinte de l’appareil avec un chiffon humide, puis séchez soigneusement.
Dépannage
Un technicien qualifié doit effectuer les réparations si nécessaire.

Raccordement électrique

Installation
1. Entfernen Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung. Achten Sie darauf, dass alle Schutzfolien und
Kunststoffschichten gründlich von allen Oberflächen entfernt werden.
2. Legen Sie das Gerät auf eine flache Oberfläche, damit die Saugfüße auf der Unterseite einen festen
Griff haben.

Vor der ersten Benutzung
1. Öffnen Sie den Deckel und wischen Sie ihn sauber.
2. Stellen Sie ein Gefäß unter den Auslauf und gießen Sie
dann warmes Wasser durch den Eisbehälter, um das
System gründlich zu spülen.
3. Leeren Sie den Behälter und stellen Sie ihn unter den
Auslauf, um Eiswürfel aufzufangen.
Betrieb
1. Geben Sie Eiswürfel in den Eisschacht ein.
(Hinweis: Geeignet für Würfel bis zu 2x2x2 cm)
2. Schließen Sie den Deckel wieder.
3. Schließen Sie das Gerät an das Stromnetz an und
drücken Sie den Netzschalter, um es zu starten.
Warnung: Die Klingen des Zerkleinerers sind
selbsteinziehend! Drücken Sie die Würfel nicht mit
der Hand oder einem Gegenstand in die Klingen.
Hinweis: Mit dem Sicherheitsmikroschalter schaltet
sich das Gerät automatisch ab, sobald der Deckel
während des Betriebs geöffnet wird.
4. Nach dem Gebrauch drücken Sie den Netzschalter erneut,
um das Gerät auszuschalten. Trennen Sie dann das Gerät
vom Stromnetz.

1. Sollte sich ein großer Eiswürfel in der Zerkleinerungseinheit festsetzen, drücken Sie den Netzschalter,
um das Gerät auszuschalten. Ziehen Sie dann den Netzstecker.
2. Gießen Sie warmes Wasser in den Eisbehälter, um die Eisverstopfung zu lösen.
3. Stecken Sie den Stecker wieder ein und starten Sie das Gerät erneut.
Reinigung, Pflege und Wartung
• Schalten Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung immer aus und trennen Sie es vom Stromnetz.
• Gießen Sie warmes Wasser durch den Eisbehälter, um das System gründlich durchzuspülen.
• Wischen Sie das Gehäuse des Geräts mit einem feuchten Tuch ab und trocknen Sie es anschließend
gut ab.
Störungssuche
Falls erforderlich, sollte ein qualifizierter Techniker Reparaturen durchführen.

Elektroanschlüsse
Der Stecker muss in eine geeignete Steckdose gesteckt werden.

• Posizionare su una superficie piana e stabile.
• L’installazione e le eventuali riparazioni devono venire eseguite
da un agente/tecnico qualificato. Non rimuovere i componenti
o i pannelli di accesso dell’apparecchio.
• Verificare la conformità alle normative locali e nazionali di
quanto segue:

• Non pulire con idropulitrici jet/ad alta pressione.
• NON immergere l’apparecchio in acqua.
• Questo apparecchio è utilizzabile solo per la triturazione del
ghiaccio. Non utilizzare questo apparecchio per scopi diversi

• Questo apparecchio non è destinato all’uso da parte di persone

Installazione
1. Rimuovere l’apparecchio dalla confezione. Assicurarsi che tutta la pellicola protettiva di plastica e i
rivestimenti plastici siano completamente rimossi da tutte le superfici.
2. Posizionare l’apparecchio su una superficie piana, assicurandosi che i piedini a ventosa sul fondo
abbiano una presa salda.

Prima del primo utilizzo
1. Aprire il coperchio e pulirlo.
2. Mettere un contenitore sotto il beccuccio, quindi versare
acqua tiepida attraverso il contenitore del ghiaccio per
sciacquare accuratamente il sistema.
3. Svuotare il contenitore e metterlo sotto il beccuccio per
raccogliere i cubetti di ghiaccio.
Funzionamento
1. Far cadere i cubetti di ghiaccio nello scivolo del ghiaccio.
(Nota: adatto per cubetti fino a 2x2x2 cm)
2. Chiudere il coperchio in posizione.
3. Collegare all’alimentazione di rete e premere l’interruttore
di alimentazione per avviare.
Attenzione: le lame del frantumatore si
autoalimentano! Non tentare di spingere i cubetti
nelle lame con la mano o con lo strumento.
Nota: con il microinterruttore di sicurezza,
l’apparecchio si fermerà automaticamente una volta
aperto il coperchio durante il funzionamento.
4. Dopo l’uso, premere nuovamente l’interruttore di
alimentazione per Spegnere. Quindi scollegare
dall’alimentazione elettrica.

1. Se un cubo grande si blocca nell’unità di frantumazione, premere l’interruttore di alimentazione
elettrica per Spegnere. Quindi scollegare l’unità.
2. Versare l’acqua tiepido attraverso il contenitore di ghiaccio per sciogliere il blocco del ghiaccio.
3. Ricollegare e riavviare l’apparecchio.
Pulizia, cura e manutenzione
• Spegnere e scollegare sempre l’apparecchio dall’alimentazione prima di pulirlo.
• Versare acqua tiepida attraverso il contenitore del ghiaccio per risciacquare accuratamente il sistema.
• Pulire l’alloggiamento dell’apparecchio con un panno umido. Asciugare bene successivamente.
