Sehr geehrte Kunden,
bitte lesen Sie folgende Hinweise vor
Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch. Sie
geben wichtige Informationen für Ihre
Sicherheit und den Gebrauch des Gerätes.
SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN:
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine
vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontakt-
Steckdose an. Bei Problemen mit dem
Anschluß ist zu prüfen, dass die Sicherung
nicht durch weitere Stromabnehmer
überlastet ist. Es wird eine eigene Sicherung
für den Strahler empfohlen.
Eventuell ist eine träge C-Sicherung zu
verwenden.
• Geräte nur an Wechselstrom – Spannung
gemäß Typenschild – anschließen!
• Niemals unter Spannung stehende Teile
berühren! Lebensgefahr!
• Gerät niemals mit nassen Händen bedienen!
Lebensgefahr!
• Gerät niemals in Betrieb nehmen, wenn
Gerät oder Zuleitung beschädigt sind.
Verletzungsgefahr!
• Keine leicht entflammbaren Stoffe oder
Sprays in der Nähe des in Betrieb befindlichen
Gerätes aufbewahren oder benutzen.
Brandgefahr!
• Gerät nicht in leicht entzündbarer
Atmosphäre (z.B. in der Nähe brennbarer Gase
oder Spraydosen) benutzen! Explosions- und
Brandgefahr!
• Achtung! Keine Fremdobjekte in die
Geräteöffnungen einführen!
Verletzungsgefahr (Stromschlag) und
Beschädigung des Gerätes!
• Achtung! Schauen Sie nicht längere Zeit in
das Licht!
• Achtung: Das Gerät/Schutzgitter erwärmt
sich während des Betriebes sehr stark! Stellen
Sie deshalb das Gerät so auf, dass ein zufälliges
Berühren ausgeschlossen ist.
Verbrennungsgefahr!
• Keine Kleidungsstücke, Handtücher oder
ähnliches zum Trocknen über das Gerät legen!
Überhitzungs- u. Brandgefahr!
• Der Schwenkwinkel darf nicht während des
Betriebes verstellt werden!

Zum Verstellen das Gerät erst abkühlen lassen.
• Kindern und Personen unter
Medikamenteneinfluß ist die Benutzung nur
unter Aufsicht zu gestatten! Achten Sie darauf,
dass Kinder keine Gelegenheit haben, mit
elektrischen Geräten zu spielen!
• Die Steckdose muss jederzeit zugänglich sein
um ein schnelles Entfernen des Netzsteckers
zu ermöglichen.
• Die Gebrauchsanweisung gehört zum Gerät
und ist sorgfältig aufzubewahren! Bei
Besitzerwechsel muss die Anweisung mit
ausgehändigt werden!
• Lassen Sie das Gerät erst abkühlen, bevor Sie
es tragen und aufbewahren!
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren
und Personen mit eingeschränkten
körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder Personen mit mangelnder
Erfahrung oder mangelnden Kenntnissen
verwendet werden, sofern sie bei der
Verwendung des Gerätes beaufsichtigt werden
oder eine gründliche Einweisung in die sichere
Verwendung des Gerätes erhalten haben und
mit den mit der Verwendung verbundenen
Gefahren vertraut sind. Kinder dürfen nicht mit
dem Gerät spielen. Die Reinigung und Wartung
des Gerätes darf von Kindern nicht ohne
Aufsicht durchgeführt werden.
• Das Gerät nicht in Reichweite von Kindern
unter 3 Jahren aufstellen, es sei denn, sie
werden ständig beaufsichtigt.
• Kinder zwischen 3 und 8 Jahren dürfen das
Gerät nur dann ein- und ausschalten, wenn es
an seinem üblichen Betriebsplatz aufgestellt
und installiert ist, und wenn sie beaufsichtigt
sowie im sicheren Gebrauch des Gerätes
geschult werden, und sich der damit
verbundenen Gefahren bewusst sind.
• Kinder zwischen 3 und 8 Jahren dürfen nicht
den Gerätestecker einstecken, das Gerät
einstellen und reinigen bzw. Wartungsarbeiten
daran ausführen.

Reichweite
Das Gebäude/die Umgebung, in dem/der der
Heizstrahler verwendet wird, beeinflusst die
Funkreichweite zwischen Sender und Empfänger. Dieser
Bereich ist:
X = 100 m im freien Raum
Y = 20 m durch 2 Betonwände
Achtung! Die Verwendung eines Funkgeräts (z. B. HiFi-
Funkkopfhörer), das auf derselben Frequenz betrieben
wird, kann Störungen verursachen und die Leistung des
Produkts beeinträchtigen.

2. Betriebsmodus
2.1. Wählen Sie den Kanal für die Heizung mit der Taste "SELECT". In der Werkseinstellung ist Kanal 1
für Heizungen eingestellt. Insgesamt stehen 5 Kanäle zur Auswahl (Modell: Situo Variation 5 io II).
2.2. Batteriefachdeckel ausclipsen
2.3. Drücken Sie die Taste (E) wie in der rechten Abbildung gezeigt. Drücken Sie die Taste einmal, die
LED wechselt nacheinander auf 1, 2, 3 und 4. Vorsicht! Bitte stellen Sie die Fernbedienung auf die
Betriebsart 2 (LED 2 leuchtet), mit der die Heizung geregelt wird.
2.4. Den Batteriefachdeckel wieder aufstecken.
2.5. Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Tasten UP und DOWN, bis die Lampe im Zyklus EIN / AUS ist.
2.6. Drücken Sie kurz die Taste PROG: Die Lampe ist einmal EIN / AUS, um anzuzeigen, dass die
Fernbedienung mit der Heizung kommuniziert.

3. IO auf ursprüngliche Konfiguration zurücksetzen,
Achtung! Dieser Reset entfernt alle Fernbedienungen. Um eine neue Fernbedienung hinzuzufügen,
lesen Sie bitte Abschnitt 2.5 und 2.6.
3.1. Schalten Sie das Gerät 2 Sekunden lang aus.
3.2. Schalten Sie die Stromversorgung für 10 Sekunden ein (länger als 5 Sekunden und kürzer als 15
Sekunden).
3.3. Schalten Sie das Gerät 2 Sekunden lang aus.
3.4. Schalten Sie die Stromversorgung ein. Die Lampe wird einen Zyklus lang ein- und
ausgeschaltet. Das Symbol bedeutet einen Zyklus von Ein / Aus.
3.5. Drücken Sie die Taste „PROG“ ununterbrochen, bis die Lampe im ersten Zyklus ein- / ausgeschaltet
ist und im zweiten Zyklus die Lampe ein- / ausgeschaltet ist. Lassen Sie dann die Taste „PROG“ los.
Fügen Sie nun eine neue Fernbedienung hinzu. Gleich wie 2.5 und 2.6.
3.6. Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Tasten UP und DOWN, bis die Lampe in einem Zyklus EIN / AUS ist.
3.7. Drücken Sie kurz die Taste PROG: Die Lampe ist einmal EIN / AUS, um anzuzeigen, dass die
Fernbedienung mit der Heizung kommuniziert.
4 . ANWENDUNG
4.1. Drücken Sie die Auswahltaste, um den Kanal zu wechseln. In der Werkseinstellung ist Kanal 1 für
Heizungen eingestellt. Insgesamt stehen 5 Kanäle zur Auswahl
4.2. Drücken Sie die UP-Taste. Die Heizung beginnt mit der Einstellung auf höchster Leistungsstufe.
Drücken Sie die AB-Taste, um die Heizung auszuschalten.

4.3 Bewegen Sie das Scrollrad nach oben oder unten und variieren Sie die Heizung zwischen LOW
(NIEDRIG)-MED (MITTEL)-HIGH (HOCH) oder HIGH-MED-LOW.

5. Stellen Sie Ihre bevorzugte Leistungsstufe ein:
5.1. Wählen Sie den Kanal für die Heizung mit Ihrer bevorzugten Leistungsstufe (LOW, MED oder
HIGH) und drücken Sie dann die Taste „MY“ für ca. 5 Sekunden. Die Lampe wird in einem Zyklus AN /
AUS sein. Die bevorzugte Leistungsstufe wurde auf die Taste „MY“ gestellt.
5.2. Wählen Sie den Kanal für das Heizgerät, stellen Sie ihn auf die bevorzugte Leistungsstufe ein und
drücken Sie dann die Taste „MY“ (ca. 5 Sekunden), um die bevorzugte Leistungseinstellung zu
entfernen.
5.3. Drücken Sie kurz die MY-Taste, wenn sich das Heizgerät im Standby-Modus oder in einer anderen
Leistungsstufe befindet. Das Heizgerät beginnt zu arbeiten oder stellt sich auf die bevorzugte
Leistungsstufe ein.

6. TIMER
6.1 Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Tasten «MY» und Down, bis die Lampe in einem Zyklus EIN/AUS ist.
Wenn die Timer-Funktion inaktiv war, ist sie aktiviert. War die Funktion „Timer“ aktiv, ist sie
deaktiviert.
6.2 Drücken Sie nach Schritt 6.1 kurz gleichzeitig die Tasten „MY“ und „DOWN“.
6.3 Drücken Sie nach Schritt 6.2 die Tasten „MY“ und „DOWN“. 2 Sekunden. Die Lampe ist
in 1 Zyklus EIN / AUS.
6.4 Drücken Sie die Taste DOWN, um den Timer auf 3 Stunden einzustellen, die Taste «MY», um den
Timer auf 6 Stunden einzustellen, und die Taste UP, um den Timer auf 12 Stunden einzustellen.
6.5 Die Lampe ist in 1 Zyklus EIN / AUS
6.6 Drücken Sie die «MY» Taste für 2 Sekunden
6.7 Die Lampe ist in 1 Zyklus EIN / AUS
6.8 Der Timer wird erfolgreich aktiviert.

STANDORT:
• Der Strahler ist u.a. für Wandbetrieb mit Festanschluss geeignet und muss mindestens 2,1 m über
dem Boden angebracht werden!
• Das Gerät darf nur in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn es waagerecht montiert wurde. Das
Anbringen des Strahlers an der Decke ist ebenfalls gestattet.
• Der Abstand zwischen Schutzgitter und brennbaren Gegenständen (z.B. Vorhänge), Wänden und
anderen Baulichkeiten muss mindestens 150 cm betragen.
• Das Gerät darf nur auf und unter nicht brennbaren Materialen montiert werden.
• Gerät niemals unmittelbar unter eine Wandsteckdose stellen bzw. darunter befestigen!
• Da das Gerät Strahlungswärme abgibt, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass sich zwischen dem Gerät und
den zu
erwärmenden Personen bzw. Gegenständen keine Dinge wie z.B. Möbel befinden!
• Bei der Deckenmontage darf der Strahler nicht senkrecht zum Boden installiert werden!
NETZKABEL:
• Das Netzkabel darf nicht mit heißen Geräteteilen in Berührung kommen!
• Stecker niemals am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen! Gerät niemals durch Ziehen am Kabel bewegen
oder Kabel zum Tragen des Gerätes benutzen!
• Kabel nicht um das Gerät wickeln! Gerät nicht mit aufgewickeltem Kabel betreiben!
• Kabel nicht einklemmen, nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen, nicht über heiße Herdplatten oder
offene Flammen legen!
MONTAGE:
• Die Montage und der Anschluss des Gerätes darf nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt
werden. Vor Beginn aller Elektroarbeiten ist die Installation spannungsfrei zu schalten!
• Bei Montage des Gerätes ist auf Leitungen zu achten, die unter Putz verlegt sind. Vorsicht beim
Anbringen der Bohrlöcher! Gerät erst nach vollständiger Montage in Betrieb nehmen.
INBETRIEBNAHME:
• Nach dem Einschalten während der ersten Inbetriebnahme, sowie nach längerer Betriebspause ist
eine kurzzeitige Geruchsbildung möglich.
REINIGUNG:
• Zuerst Gerät vom Netz trennen.
• Nach dem Abkühlen kann das Gehäuse trocken abgerieben werden.
• Quarzstäbe nicht mit den Fingern berühren, da sich sonst Flecken und Zerstörungen bilden können.
• Der Reflektor sollte regelmäßig von außen mit einem Pinsel gereinigt werden.
• Keine scheuernden und ätzenden Reinigungsmittel verwenden!
• Das Gerät niemals ins Wasser tauchen! Lebensgefahr!

times to enable the mains plug to be

• These instructions for use belong to the
appliance and must be kept in a safe place.
When changing owners, these instructions

2. Operating mode
2.1. Select the channel for the heater by the button
“SELECT”. The factory default set channel 1 for heaters.
Totally 5 channels are available for selection.
2.2. Unclip the battery cover;
2.3. Press the button (E) as shown in the right diagram.
-Press the button once, the LED will be switch to 1, 2, 3,
4 in successively.
Caution! Please set the remote control in the operating mode 2
(LED 2 lit) that is used to control and vary the heating.
2.4. Clip the battery cover back on.
2.5. Press the button UP and DOWN simultaneously,
Until the lamp is ON/OFF in one cycle.
2.6. Briefly press the PROG button:
the lamp is ON/OFF one time, to indicate that the
remote control had been matched with the heater;
3. Restoring the IO to the original configuration
Caution!
This reset removes all remote controls.
Adding a new remote control please refer to the clause 2.5 and 2.6.
3.1. Switch the power off 2 seconds;
3.2. Switch the power on 10 seconds (more than 5 seconds and
less than 15 seconds)
3.3. Switch the power off 2 seconds;
3.4. Switch the power on.
The lamp will be ON and OFF one cycle. The symbol
means one cycle of lamp ON/OFF
3.5. Press the button “PROG” uninterruptedly until the lamp is ON/OFF in the first cycle, and the lamp
is ON/OFF in the second cycle, and then release the button “PROG”. Now add a new remote
control. The same as 2.5 and 2.6.

3.6. Press the button UP and DOWN simultaneously until the lamp is ON/OFF in one cycle.
3.7. Briefly press the PROG button: the lamp is ON/OFF one time, to indicate that the remote control
had been matched with the heater.
4. USE
4.1. Press “Select” BUTTON to change the channel. The factory default set channel 1 for heaters. Totally 5
channels are available for selection.
4.2. Press UP button, the heater starts to work at high power setting

4.3 Move the thumbwheel up or down, vary the heating from LOW-MED-HIGH, or from HIGH-MED-
LOW.
5. Set My favorite power level
5.1. Select the channel for the heater, select the favorite power level (LOW, MED or HIGH), and then
press “MY “button for approx. 5 seconds. The lamp will be ON/OFF in one cycle, my favorite power level
has been set to the MY button.
5.2. Select the channel for the heater, set it in the favorite power level, and then press the button
“MY”(approx. 5 seconds) to remove my favorite power setting.
5.3. Briefly press MY button when the heater is in standby or other power level, the heater will start to
work or set to the favorite power level.

2. Mode de fonctionnement
2.1. Sélectionnez le canal de chauffage à l'aide du bouton
« SELECT ». Dans le réglage d'usine, le canal 1 est réglé
pour les appareils de chauffage. Au total, 5 canaux sont
disponibles au choix (modèle : Situo Variation 5 io).
2.2. Décrochez le couvercle du compartiment des piles.

2.3. Appuyez sur le bouton (E) comme indiqué sur la figure de
droite. Appuyez une fois sur le bouton et la LED passera
successivement sur 1, 2, 3 et 4.
Attention! Réglez la télécommande sur le mode de fonctionnement 2 (LED 2 allumée) qui permet de
réguler le chauffage.
2.4. Replacez le couvercle du compartiment à piles.
2.5. Appuyez simultanément sur les boutons HAUT et BAS jusqu'à ce que la lampe s'allume et
s'éteigne dans le cycle.
2.6. Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton PROG : la lampe
s'allume / s'éteint une fois pour indiquer que la télécommande communique avec le chauffage.
3. Réinitialiser IO à sa configuration d'origine
Attention ! Cette réinitialisation supprime toutes les
télécommandes.
Pour ajouter une nouvelle télécommande, veuillez vous reporter
aux
sections 2.5 et 2.6.
3.1. Éteignez l'appareil pendant 2 secondes.
3.2. Allumez l'alimentation électrique pendant 10 secondes
(plus de 5 secondes et moins de 15 secondes).
3.3. Éteignez l'appareil pendant 2 secondes.
3.4. Allumez l'alimentation électrique. La lampe s'allumera et s'éteindra
pendant un cycle. Le symbole signifie un cycle marche / arrêt.
3.5. Appuyez sur la touche « PROG » en continu jusqu'à ce que la lampe soit allumée / éteinte dans le premier
cycle et allumée / éteinte dans le deuxième cycle. Relâchez ensuite le bouton « PROG ». Ajoutez maintenant une
nouvelle télécommande. Comme indiqué aux points 2.5 et 2.6.
3.6. Appuyez simultanément sur les boutons HAUT et BAS jusqu'à ce que la lampe soit allumée / éteinte dans un
cycle.
3.7. Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton PROG : la lampe s'allume / s'éteint une fois pour indiquer que la
télécommande communique avec le chauffage.
4. UTILISATION
4.1. Appuyez sur la touche de sélection pour changer de canal. Dans le réglage d'usine, le canal 1 est
réglé pour les appareils de chauffage. Un total de 5 canaux est disponible au choix.
4.2. Appuyez sur le bouton HAUT. Le chauffage commence avec le réglage au niveau de puissance le
plus élevé. Appuyez sur la touche BAS pour éteindre le chauffage.
4.3 Faites défiler la molette vers le haut ou vers le bas et faites varier le chauffage entre LOW (BAS)-
MED (MOYEN)-HIGH (HAUT) ou HIGH-MED-LOW.
