Dear Customer,
Thank you very much for deciding on the secuENTRY 5000 CYL.
The system was developed in Germany according to the most
modern technical capabilities and fulls the latest high safety
requirements.
The secuENTRY 5000 CYL electronic cylinder can be easily
installed in any door with a prole cylinder lock, up to a door
thickness of 118 mm (59/59 mm, measured in the centre of the
forend screw). No drilling or laying of cables is required and it
is ideally suited for both new installations and retrotting. The
secuENTRY 5000 CYL can be tted to house and interior doors.
The secuENTRY 5000 CYL is setup and operated using the free
smartphone app secuENTRY KeyApp*. The transmission is wire-
less, the cylinder uses the modern Bluetooth 5.2 standard.
*Alternatively, the cylinder can also be operated via the PIN keypad ENTRY 7711
Keypad PIN or the radio key ENTRY sE-Key 7713 (both available separately).
ThesecuENTRY KeyApp, however, is always required for the setup.
Important:
Please read the entire operating instructions before you
start the installation.
We hope you enjoy your new locking system!

The QR code (I) is required later when setting up
the cylinder using the BURG-WÄCHTER KeyApp
(Fig. 2).
The cylinders are delivered with a factory-
assigned random administrator code (II),
therefore a code change is not mandatory (Fig. 2).
To setup the secuENTRY 5000 CYL, you
must rst download the secuENTRY
KeyApp. This can be found in the App
Store and Google Play Store (Fig. 3).
Once you have successfully registered,
you can start setting up the secuENTRY
5000 CYL.
Open the main menu (Fig. 4).
In the following menu, tap on "Device
Setup" (Fig. 6). From here you can add
and setup secuENTRY units to the app.
Use the selection menu displayed and
tap on "secuENTRY Proly Cylinder" to
setup your secuENTRY cylinder (Fig. 7).
Tap on the menu item
"secuENTRY setup" (Fig. 5).
A list is displayed in which cylinders
that have already been registered can
be found at a later date. This list is,
of course, empty when installing the
secuENTRY KeyApp and setting up a
cylinder for the rst time.
Add a new cylinder by tapping on the
"+" in the top right-hand corner
(Fig. 8).
Attention:
The QR code and the factory-assigned
administrator code are not stored by
BURG-WÄCHTER. Recovery is not possible
if the codes are lost. Please store the sticker
shown above in a safe place. In addition, it is
recommended that you take a photo of the
sticker and archive it digitally.
