Thank you for buying a Burlington Product. To ensure that it
works to its full potential, it needs to be tted correctly.
Check the contents of the pack carefully before installation.
Bathroom Brands will not be held responsible for any de-t/
re-t costs where faulty product has been tted. If any fault
is found with materials or workmanship, it must be reported
immediately to the manufacturer. Remedial action will be
taken, based on information received, on condition that:
1. Full details are supplied to the manufacturer.
2. The product has not been modied or tampered with;
3. The manufacturer is informed of any damage/shortages
prior to installation.
4. The product has not been installed, or attempts have been
made to install.
We do not accept responsibility for any problems that may
occur through incorrect installation. This product should
only be installed by a suitably qualied plumber/installer.
Should the installation be completed by a non-qualied
person any product guarantee maybe considered invalid. For
a claim made under our warranty, written certication of your
installer’s qualications may be required.

Important Pre-Installation Notes
Please check for any hidden pipes or electrical cables before drilling holes in the oor or walls. When using power tools always
follow the manufacturer’s user instructions. This installation guide details tting to a solid wall. If your bathroom has studded/
plasterboard walls, please use appropriate plasterboard xings.
Make sure that the wall can take the weight of the products before undertaking the installation.
Fittings, when over tightened can create stress within the basin material which may in time cause the failure of the product.
Care should also be taken when tting a tap and waste to the basin in order to prevent similar stress related failures. Waste
ttings should be carefully bedded in silicone and the back nut hand tightened; an additional quarter turn using a suitable
spanner is suicient to create the required watertight seal.
If any maintenance is required then it must be carried out by a qualied Plumber. The manufacturer reserves the right to make
technical modications without prior notice.
Warning
Ceramic basins can be heavy, please ensure the wall the product is being tted to has enough reinforcement to support the
weight of the basin, pedestal or washstand.

All require suitable wall mounting bolts - not supplied.

Wall Mounted Installation.
The recommended height from the oor to the tap platform is
850/870mm.
Measure distances A & B using a spirit level and oering the
basin to the wall if necessary. Mark the wall.
Installation with pedestal.
Measure distance A, then place the basin on the pedestal, and
taking care not to let go of the basin while it is balanced on
the pedestal, measure distance B. Mark the wall.
Installation with wash stand.
Check that you have the correct washstand before
undertaking the installation. Follow the installation manual
supplied with the wash stand.
Once the wash stand is fully assembled, place the basin in
position ensuring that it is level. Measure distance A and mark
the wall.

The basin must always be xed to the wall using appropriate
wall xings.
Drill the marked locations and install the basin on the wall,
ensuring it is level and fully secured by the wall xings.

The tap and waste ttings may now be installed, following the
manufacturer’s instructions.
Connect water and waste pipework and turn on the water
supply to check for any leaks.
If installing with a pedestal, secure the pedestal to the
oor using appropriate xings for your oor type. Do not
overtighten the pedestal xings.
Apply silicone sealant around the back of the basin to keep
watertight. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for drying
times.

Clean regularly using with warm soapy water and polish with only a so cloth.
Any residues from soap, toiletries etc. should be rinsed o straight aer use.
Household bleaches and cleaners containing harsh chemicals may damage the surface nish.
Avoid using abrasive cloths, scouring pads, scrub sponges, steel wool or anything similar.
Lime-scale marks can be cleaned using a diluted lime-scale remover used in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
