Warning! To reduce the risk of serious injury, read the following safety
instructions before assembling and using the pergola.
• This product is intended for domestic outdoor use only.
• The product should be placed and assembled on flat, horizontal ground.
• Consult with your local governing authority/local municipal codes regarding installation of temporary
structures before assembly.
• Ensure there is enough clearance around the product. Before assembling the pergola, make sure to leave
a distance of not less than 6’ (1.8 m) from any structures or obstructions, such as fences, garages, houses,
overhanging branches, laundry lines, or electrical wires.
• Anchor the pergola to the ground with stakes for added safety. Stakes are provided to secure the pergola
to the ground. If you wish to secure the pergola to a concrete floor or wood surface, use anchors suited for
these surfaces (anchors not included). Do not assemble the pergola on sandy, muddy or loose soil, as stakes
do not have enough anchorage in these types of soil.
• If more than one pergola is set up, keep a minimum distance of 10' (3 m) between the pergolas.
• Any assembly or maintenance of the product must be carried out by adults only.
• Make sure there is sucient manpower when assembling or moving the product.
• Some parts may contain sharp edges. Wear protective gloves if necessary.
• Check all nuts and bolts periodically for tightness. When required, tighten them.
• Repairing and replacing parts should be done by a qualified technician.
• This pergola is intended for decorative and sunshade purposes only.
• The pergola is not designed to withstand harsh weather, including high winds, rain and snow. Always remove
the pergola in such heavy weather conditions, otherwise it might tip over and cause damage to the product
or injuries to bystanders.
• Always ensure that the canvas is taut, to avoid water accumulation on the roof. If water accumulates on the
roof, remove it immediately or disassemble the pergola in order to avoid damages.
• Do not hang any weights on the roof frame.
• Do not climb onto the roof of the pergola. Falling o the pergola can result in serious injury.
• After a few years, if the paint peels o, use paint of similar colour. It is recommended to use outdoor paint.
• Retain the original packaging to store the pergola.
• If the product will not be used for a long period of time (e.g. winter time), it should be disassembled and
stored in a clean, dry environment.
