Warning! To reduce the risk of serious injury, read the following safety
instructions before assembling and using the pergola.
• This product is intended for domestic outdoor use only.
• The product should be placed and assembled on flat, horizontal ground.
• Consult with your local governing authority/local municipal codes regarding installation of temporary
structures before assembly.
• Ensure there is enough clearance around the product. Before assembling the pergola, make sure to leave
a distance of not less than 6’ (1.8 m) from any structures or obstructions, such as fences, garages, houses,
overhanging branches, laundry lines, or electrical wires.
• Anchor the pergola to the ground with stakes for added safety. Stakes are provided to secure the pergola
to the ground. If you wish to secure the pergola to a concrete floor or wood surface, use anchors suited for
these surfaces (anchors not included). Do not assemble the pergola on sandy, muddy or loose soil, as stakes
do not have enough anchorage in these types of soil.
• If more than one pergola is set up, keep a minimum distance of 10' (3 m) between the pergolas.
• Any assembly or maintenance of the product must be carried out by adults only.
• Make sure there is sucient manpower when assembling or moving the product.
• Some parts may contain sharp edges. Wear protective gloves if necessary.
• Check all nuts and bolts periodically for tightness. When required, tighten them.
• Repairing and replacing parts should be done by a qualified technician.
• This pergola is intended for decorative and sunshade purposes only.
• The pergola is not designed to withstand harsh weather, including high winds, rain and snow. Always remove
the pergola in such heavy weather conditions, otherwise it might tip over and cause damage to the product
or injuries to bystanders.
• Always ensure that the canvas is taut, to avoid water accumulation on the roof. If water accumulates on the
roof, remove it immediately or disassemble the pergola in order to avoid damages.
• Do not hang any weights on the roof frame.
• Do not climb onto the roof of the pergola. Falling o the pergola can result in serious injury.
• After a few years, if the paint peels o, use paint of similar colour. It is recommended to use outdoor paint.
• Retain the original packaging to store the pergola.
• If the product will not be used for a long period of time (e.g. winter time), it should be disassembled and
stored in a clean, dry environment.

IMPORTANT: Please read and understand this manual before any assembly. Before beginning
the assembly of product, make sure all parts are available. Compare parts list with packaging
contents. If any part is missing, or if you have any questions, contact the service centre at
1-888-670-6684 (toll-free).
Unpack and place all the parts from the packaging box in an open area and position them on
the floor. Remove all packing materials and place them back into the box. Do not dispose of the
packing materials until assembly is complete. Read each step carefully before beginning any
assembly and make sure you understand each step. If you are missing a part, please call our toll-

CAUTION!
• Proper placement of the pergola is essential. Do not place the product
underneath electrical lines.
• Keep children under close supervision while they are playing around this
product. This product contains small parts which can be swallowed by
children.
• Keep fingers away from places where they can be pinched or trapped.
• Do not attempt to assemble the pergola if any part is missing.
• Do not light any fires inside or near the product!
• Stay calm if fire breaks out. Search for the nearest exit. Do not return to the
pergola before firemen allow you to do so.

Requires A1, A2, AA, BB, W
Insert Top bar 1s (A1) into Top bar 2s (A2), attach using M6x15 bolts (AA) and
M6 washers (BB). Tighten the bolts using the wrench (W).
Step 2
Requires B1, B2, AA, BB, W
Insert Beam 1s (B1) into Beam 2s (B2), then attach using M6x15 bolts (AA) and
M6 washers (BB). Tighten the bolts using the wrench (W).
NOTE:
When using screws and bolts to assemble the product, always use a flat washer between
the frame and the screw or bolt. This will protect the parts from wear and tear.

Requires B3, B4, AA, BB, W
Insert Beam 3s (B3) into Beam 4s (B4), then attach using M6x15 bolts (AA) and
M6 washers (BB). Tighten the bolts using the wrench (W).
Step 4
Requires B1, B2, B3, B4, C, AA, BB, W
Attach the assembled beams (B1, B2), (B3, B4) in sequence of B1B2, B3B4,
B1B2, B3B4 to the Corner connectors (C) using M6x15 bolts (AA) and M6
washers (BB). Tighten the bolts using the wrench (W).

NOTE:
While assembling (B1, B2), (B3, B4) to (C), make sure to assemble in such a way that the
thread holes of (B1, B2), (B3, B4) face inner side in order to assemble Arch supports (I1, I2).

Insert Posts (E1, E2) into Base protectors (H), then attach each Post base (G)
to the bottom of each Post (E1, E2) using M6x15 screws (DD) and M6 washers
(BB). Arrange the Posts (E1, E2) in a criss cross manner. Note: E1s should be
diagonal from each other.

Attach the assembled Top bars (A1, A2) to assembled Beams (B1, B2) using
M6x45 screws (CC) and M6 washers (BB).

Attach assembled Corner connectors (C) to top of Posts (E1, E2) using M6x15
bolts (AA) and M6 washers (BB). Tighten the bolts using the wrench (W).

Attach Arch supports (I1) at the left corners and Arch supports (I2) at the right
corners of Posts (E1, E2) and Beams (B1,B2), (B3,B4) using M6x15 bolts (AA) and
M6 washers (BB). Tighten the bolts using the wrench (W).

NOTE:
While assembling (C) to (E1, E2), make sure to assemble side with thread holes of
E1 and E2 toward inner of pergola, otherwise Arch supports (I1, I2) will not mount
correctly.

M6x15 screws (DD) and M6 washers (BB).

Insert assembled Tubes for canopy (L1, L2) into the holes at the lower ends of
Canopy (N).

While assembling (L1, L2) to (N), make sure to assemble in such a way that the thread
holes on (L1, L2) face the inner side of the pergola in order to attach Connector for the
tube of canopy (J).

Attach the assembled Guideway bars (M) to Posts (E1, E2) using M6x75 screws
(EE) and M6 washers (BB).

When attaching Guideway bars (M) to Posts (E1, E2), make sure that the Guideway
bars (M) with Connectors (K2) attach to Posts (E1) and the Guideway bars (M) with
Connectors (K3) attach to Posts (E2). (Clip should be toward inner side of pergola.)

Heavy wind can cause damage or can blow the canopy o of the frame. To prevent
damage to the canopy, pull down the tubes (L1, L2) and attach each latch on
Connector for rail (K2, K3) to each Connector for the tube of canopy (J).

the canopy (L1, L2) using M6x15 screws (DD) and M6 washers (BB).

(E1, E2) to the ground using stakes (FF).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCESPECIFICATIONS
• To wash the fabric parts:
- Spread the fabric and use a soft-bristle brush to clean.
- Never use detergent.
- Water should be cold to lukewarm, not more than 77°F (25°C).
- Air dry only. Do not spin in washing machine or hand squeeze.
• Do not use bleach, acid or other abrasive cleansers on the canopy or frame
parts.
• Steel components of garden accessories and furniture are treated with
rust-inhibiting paint. However, due to the nature of steel, surface oxidation
(rusting) will occur if this protective coating is scratched. This is a natural
process. To minimize this condition, it is recommended to carefully assemble/
handle the product, in order to prevent the paint from being scratched. Surface
rust can be removed easily using a very light application of common cooking
oil. If surface oxidation (rusting) occurs and no measures are taken to correct it,
the oxidation may start dripping onto the assembly surface, which may cause
stains that may be dicult to remove.
CAUTION!
• Check all screws and nuts periodically for tightness; tighten them as
required.
• Disassemble the pergola in reverse order of steps for assembly. Always
disassemble the pergola completely. A partially-disassembled pergola
is not stable enough to resist wind and bad weather, and therefore can
be damaged and/or cause damage.
