1. Product features
Compact size (width: 29 cm)
Compact-sized water purifier can be installed freely where you want as effectively utilizing the
space.
Extended water dispensing space
It is convenient to take water with any shape of bottle as big as 1.5 L bottle as height of water dispensing
space is more than 25 cm.
24 hour natural water circulation system(N.W.P.W)
ChungHo Nais purification system is designed to allow water to continuously flow for 24 hours within
the water purifier by adopting a natural circulation method. This mode, entitled N.W.P.W. applies the
natural weight of water pressure in order to always supply clean and fresh water. (patent : No.105585)
Dual heating system
Hot water is made by instant heating method and hot tank heating method and users can easily select
the method by their preference. It enhances energy efficiency.
Easy replacement of filters
It is convenient to replace filters as they could be detached by just lifting them.
Touch Sensor Application
Unlike ordinary button applications, ChungHo Water Purifier EDGE has a built-in touch sensor buttons.
The easy-touch sensor application is designed for effortless and enjoyable drinking water with ice.
Easy maintenance system
It is more convenient that empty ambient and cold water tank within 14 minutes by pressing the
button once for cleaning inside.
Water level detection sensor
Differed from ordinary float level sensor, a capacitive sensor is used for improving water level de-
tection accuracy without a float. Capacitive sensor stably detects water level in more reliable and
safer way. The signal from the sensor is sent to a controller in order to automatically adjust purified
water level.
Water amount selection function
It is convenient that users can take the desired amount of Ambi. / Cold water.
(1 step: 150ml, 2 step: 300ml, 3 step: 600ml)
Enhanced water leak prevention
To prevent any damage from water leak, automatic water leakage stop valve installed on the base
panel to stop source water inlet immediately.

1. Product features
Display of abnormal occurrence and reinforced safety function
The safety features of the unit have been enhanced in order to prevent various problems. The system
will inform the user(s) of abnormal occurrences through a flashing display LED and by automatically
stopping the water purification function when an abnormality in the system is detected.
Automatic water dispensing
This system enables users to obtain water by lightly pushing the dispensing button.
Operation Beep Sound
This provides users with sound effects (Ding, Dingdong~ etc) which indicate operation setting upon
pressing button by changing its sound.
Default function
Water selection is programmed to return to cold water selection. If user doesn't take ambient water
more than 10 seconds, it automatically returns to cold water selection.
Power saving function
It is designed and manufactured for improving energy efficiency to reduce energy consumption.
Automatic filter cleaning system
Automatic filter cleaning system is applied to constantly maintain the filter quality by eliminating
accumulated contaminant.

2. Safety precautions
Associated with the possibility for serious injury or death.

• During use of the unit, some operating sound may occur inside because of the operation of the compres-
sor. And clattering sound may occur during cold water production process.
• Water is drained through brine tube when power is on or water is full. This is the operation for enhancing
filter quality by eliminating accumulated contaminant.
*Symptoms under normal operations
●This unit cannot be used by children and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
●Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
●Replacement of supply cord is intended to be
made by the manufacturer or service agent.
●This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given su-
pervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.

3. Installation cautions
When transporting the product, do not tilt it over 45°.
※Severe tilting can cause performance degradation.
Keep the product approximately 8" (20 cm) away from the wall for proper ventilation.
Use the following water quality range.
• Water pressure : 1.4~7 kgf/cm2(137~686 kPa) • Water temperature : 39~100 °F(4~38 °C)

pH : 5.8~8.5 •Water hardness : 300 ppm or less
• Turbidity: below 0.5 NTU •Water quality : Biologically safe water quality
※When using the water out of range, discuss it with the company. If not, the product can be excluded from
the stated warranty.

※This can cause trouble and decline in ice making performance.
When connecting tube, ensure that the tube is not bent or pressed down by heavy objects, etc.
*If tube is bent or pressed, water does not flow well and can cause problems.
The highest point of installed brine tube must be less than 12"(30 cm) away from the flat floor. Total length of brine tube
must be less than 118"(3 m). Otherwise, water is not drained well.
When installing more than one product(water purifier, shower softener, etc.), tubes of source water, brine water need
to be independent for one another.
Adjust the tube so that brine water may not splash around area.
*Brine water can easily be used for other purposes, such as bathroom cleaning, house cleaning, laundering,
washing, etc. Never use the brine water for drinking or cooking.
Do not install the product at the following places.
• Near fire or heater • Near flammable material • Wet place
• A place exposed to rain or snow • In front of the cooling and heating device
• Near chemicals(volatile material, organic solvent, etc.)
• A place below 32 °F(0 °C) or a place with the possibility of dropping below 32 °F(0 °C).
• A place above 104 °F(40 °C) or a place with the possibility of rising above 104 °F(40 °C).
Install the product at a place where the surface is flat, and after installation, always adjust the level of the product by
using a level gauge. It is recommended to install the product on a sink band or table higher than 80cm above the floor.
*If the product tilts more than 3o, water overflow may occur.
Do not place any electric heater near the rear of the product.

Connect tube to brine on the back of the product. And then, connect tube to
drain hole such as sink, toilet etc..
Turn on water supply valve connected to the house and position the adapter
(source water valve) "OPEN".
Do not plug in the power for 30 minutes in order to stabilize the cooling system
and safe use of product.
Check if water is supplied into the product properly and there are any leakages on
every connection.
Check any leakages on every connection.
After 30 minutes has passed from supplying the power, check if water is coming
out by pressing the water dispensing button.

Empty the water in the tank when "WATER FULL" lights on.
30 Minutes
Install horizontally.
Shut off water supply valve and separate the connector part of tap water in order
to connect an adapter(source water valve). Then, connect the adapter.
* If a sealing rubber(packing) is missing or the thread of a screw is damaged,
it may occur water leakage.
* The unit is recommended to install on the sink or table above 80 cm from the floor.
Connect the adapter(source water valve) and a water inlet on the rear of the
product with a tube.

• Constant water dispensing function
1. It is the function to use when taking cold water or ambient water continuously.
Press desired water selection button for 2 seconds. Constant water is set to dispense.
(Setting sound: Dingdong~)
2. As pressing "WATER DISPENSING BUTTON" with constant water setting, water is
served constantly with beep sound. (LED of selected water blinks during process.)
※
If constant water is set but not taking water, then the function will be automat-
ically released after 10 seconds.

When dispensing ambient or cold water continuously,
if you touch the dispensing selection button or WATER
DISPENSING BUTTON, it beeps and this function is
released.

Water dispensing method
• Beep function releasing
1. Touch ambient water selection button for 10 seconds to release the beep
sound.
2. LED of the front blinks with beep sound. (Releasing sound: Ddiring~ Ddiring)

●Cold water dispensing mode
If "COLD"(cold water selection) touch button is selected and
"WATER DISPENSING BUTTON" is pressed, cold water is served.
●Ambient water dispensing mode
If "AMBI."(ambient water selection) touch button is selected and
"WATER DISPENSING BUTTON" is pressed, ambient water is served.
※ If users do not use the ambient water for 10 seconds when the
ambient water is chosen, it will automatically convert to cold water
mode.
●Water amount setting
1. Select the water amount by touching water amount setting button.
2. Desired water amount will be served by pressing COLD/AMBI.

●Hot tank heating water dispensing mode
1. Put the switch on hot tank heating on the rear.
2. If "HOT" touch button is selected and "WATER DISPENSING
BUTTON" is pressed, hot water is served.
※
To avoid burns from hot water, use containers such as a cup
during hot water dispensing.
※
If users do not use the hot water for 5 seconds when the hot
water is chosen, hot water selection will be automatically relea-
sed.
●Instant heating water dispensing mode
1. Put the switch on Instant heating on the rear.
2. Please touch the "HOT"(Hot water selection) touch button.
※ Hot water LED blinks.
※ 2.5 minutes are taken until completion of Instant heating.
※ Dispensing the hot water is available after completion of
Instant heating for 10 minutes.
3. LED is changed in accordance with standby heating process as below.
Green →Orange →Red
*When Instant heating function is completed, "HOT" LED blinks(Red) with beep sound.
4. If "HOT" touch button is selected and "WATER DISPENSING
BUTTON" is pressed, hot water is served.
●Hot water function releasing
Set the switch to on the rear of the unit.
※ If it is not pre-heated, the hot water cannot be dispensed.
※ When taking hot water constantly, temperature of water can be below 50 °C. Then, hot water is
not served automatically.
※ When the unit stops dispensing hot water, Instant heating starts off automatically.

5. Usage
It is the function to automatically clean the inside of the water tank in order
to prevent the contamination during the time when people seldom use the
unit once every 4 days.
ACS cleaning function makes users to always drink clean and safe water as
any chemical and electrolysis equipment is not used.
●It operates same time once every 4 days, as it is set the standard time which is 12
hours later after connection of power.
e.g.) When the power is connected at 2 P.M, it is operated at 2 A.M.
If users want to change the operation time, turn off the power at desired
time and turn on.
1. Water dispensing LED blinks around 5 minutes and users cannot use the
unit at this time.
2. Use the unit when this function is finished and cold/ambient water tanks
are filled again. (Around 70 minutes until water full.)

Press " Water Dispensing Selection Button" for 10 seconds to Set /Release

6. Cautions during use
Refer to the voltage on the front page. Connect to the proper power source.
Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas.
(This can lead to overheating the outlet.)
Never move the product while in operation.
(This can cause a malfunction.)
Do not install the unit in a place where the temperature may drop below 32 °F(0 °C).
Avoid the use of chemicals around the unit(volatile material, organic solvent, etc.) and do not place chemicals near
the unit.
In case, water is not served, check if source water can be cut or the machine is malfunctioning.
(In case of water cut-off, plugging out the power cord is recommended.)
Since the storage tank may be contaminated with general bacteria from outside, please drain the water completely
once a month and clean the inside of the storage tank with a clean soft cloth to keep it clean.
(When the storage tank is regularly drained completely before use, you can prevent water contamination.)
After cleaning the storage tank, please close the lid tightly.
(If the lid is not properly closed at the top of the storage tank, insects such as ants may go into the storage tank.)
Leave the unit unplugged, before cleaning the inside of the unit.
(An electric shock or fire may occur.)
If the unit does not respond to the touch buttons, broaden the contact area where the touch button is pressed.
In case the unit is not used for long period of time (More than 4 days), shut off the adapter(Source water valve) and
pull out the power plug. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
(Fire or electric shock may occur.)
When operating the cold water, the time which can reach a set temperature might be different depending on the
surrounding circumstance.
(Temperature, humidity, raw water)
The water purifier filter is required to be replaced regularly in accordance with the replacement period so that you
can drink the fresh water all the time.
(If the filter exceed the life-span, it might cause lowering the water purifier function.)
The portion between purified water and removed water is 1:2 Brine water can be used for other purposes, such as
bathroom cleaning, house cleaning, laundering, washing etc.
(Do not use brine water for drinking or cooking.)
Use the unit in a place which is 1 meter away from the product that generates the 1 W electric wave.
Disconnect the power plug and lock the source water valve if the abnormal sound, smell and smoke occur, and
then contact our distributor.

7. Cleaning
Water dispensing spout
1. Turn faucet deco to the left to disconnect it
from the body.
2. Clean the inside of faucet with cotton swab.
※Do not use chemicals(Detergent, benzene, thinner
etc.) to clean the unit.
3. After cleaning, put it back by turning to
the right.
Water tank
1. Shut off the source water valve and detach
the cover after loosening the fixed screw on
the right side of the unit.
2. Turn the drain switch ON on the rear of
the unit.
※ The cold / ambient water can be drained for
14 minutes by an auto drainage function.
And the cold / ambient water can be
drained as well through the water outlet.
3. Drain the hot and ambient water by plugging
the drain hose to drain valve.

※ Wash your hands first and put on sanitary gloves. Clean up the tank with soft cloth or dry
cleaner.
※ Do not use chemicals or detergent.
※ Discard used cleaner, sanitary gloves etc. after cleaning.
※ Make sure that tank cover is closed and air filter is installed properly.
※ Clean up the tank once a month.

4. Loosen the fixed screw at the back side of
the unit and separate the ambient tank cover.
After wiping the ambient water tank cover
with a soft cloth or dry cleaner, assemble the
unit again.
7. Tighten the fixed screws after inserting the right
cover properly.
8. Check if cold/ambient water is served after 30
minutes. (Water temperature: 25 °C,
Water pressure: 2.8 kgf/㎠or higher.)
5. Open source water valve
6. Turn the drain switch OFF on the rear of the
unit.
9. Drain the newly purified water completely once
and use it.

scale buildup
- The unit totally drains all water in the tank once every 4 days. It can prevent the
scale build-up.
- In case the unit is not used for long of period time more than 4 days, empty water in the
tank completely to let new water come in and empty water again to take fresh water.
- Empty water tank every month and clean up with soft cloth or dry cleaner.
- Regular cleaning is necessary to prevent scale build-up.

※ Filter service life is varied depending on environment
such as location, water conditions(quality, temperature),
amount of water used and seasons(summer, winter).
※ You can take clean water by replacing filters according to
the recommended filter service life.
1/2 step : TCR-Pre-rs-carbon filter
The carbon composite filter effectively removes the rust particle and suspended solid. It
uses the 3-stage filtration method maintaining the effectiveness of standard sediment
while extending the filter replacement cycle. At the same time, it eliminates effectively
the dissolved particle in water such as the chorine component, trihalomethanes (THMs),
and organic chemicals.
3 step : TCR-Membrane filter
It removes dissolved pollutants.(a molecular weight over 200, such as heavy metals,
bacteria and organic chemical contaminants) through RO filtration using a semi-perme-
able membrane(0.0001㎛pore size, 1/1,000,000 of hair) and the dissolved pollutants
are discharged through brine tube.
4 step :TCR-CS filter
The TCR-CS filter adjusts to the optimal pH level and provides the calcium supplements
using the CORAL SAND, a natural organic mineral. The high-quality carbon filter removes
the gas and odor components dissolved in the water and return it to the fresh water taste.

10. Replacement
※ Check for water leakage. If it is found, turn off the unit and shut down source water valve.
※ 5 minutes of flushing is necessary before filter replacement.
1. Shut off the source water valve and detach
the cover after loosening the fixed screw on
the right side of the unit.
2. Turn the drain switch on the rear of the
unit ON.
※ Cold / ambient water is automatically drained for 14
minutes as automatic drain function is applied.
Also, cold / ambient water can be drained through
water dispensing spout.
5. Turn the filter to the right side to make strai-
ght line on replacement filter and standard
point of filter head and line ( ).
6. Open source water valve.
7. Turn the drain switch on the rear of the unit
OFF.
8. Tighten the fixed screws after inserting the
right cover properly.
9. Check if cold / ambient water are served
after 30 minutes.
(Water temperature: 25 °C, Water pressure: 2.8
kgf/㎠or higher.)
3. Connect drain hose to HOT/AMBI. Drain
valve to drain hot and ambient water.
4. Lift the filter and turn to the left and pull it
off.
