1. Product features
24 our natural water circulation system(N.W.P.W)
ChungHo Nais purification system is designed to allow water to continuously flow for 24 hours within
the water purifier by adopting a natural circulation method. This mode, entitled N.W.P.W. applies the
natural weight of water pressure in order to always supply clean and fresh water. (patent : No.105585)
Touc Sensor Application
Unlike ordinary button applications, ChungHo Water Purifier NEW DI ITAL has a built-in touch sensor
buttons. The easy-touch sensor application is designed for effortless and enjoyable drinking water
with ice.
Water level detection sensor
Differed from ordinary float level sensor, a capacitive sensor is used for improving water level de-
tection accuracy without a float. Capacitive sensor stably detects water level in more reliable and
safer way. The signal from the sensor is sent to a controller in order to automatically adjust purified
water level.
Easy replacement of filters
It is convenient to replace filters as they could be detached by just lifting them.
Power Saving Function
While hot water is working, light detection sensor detects a light density of around the unit. Hot water
system is automatically ON/OFF in accordance with light density to save energy.
Safety from ot water
If hot water is selected and users do not take hot water for some time, hot water selection is released to
prevent burn injuries.
Constant water dispensing function
It enables users to take ambient or cold water constantly by pressing "COLD/AMBIENT" touch button
for 3 sec.
※ Hot water is not available for constant water dispensing function.
Display of abnormal occurrence and reinforced safety function
The safety features of the product have been enhanced in order to prevent various problems. The sys-
tem will inform the users of abnormal occurrences through a flashing display LED and by automatically
stopping ambient, cold and hot water functions when an abnormality in the system is detected.
Automatic Water Dispensing
This system enables users to obtain hot, cold and ambient water by lightly pushing the dispensing button.

Operation Beep Sound
This provides users with sound effects (Ding, Dingdong~ etc) which indicate operation setting upon
pressing button by changing its sound.
Default function
Water selection is programmed to return to cold water selection. If user doesn't take ambient water
more than 10 seconds, it automatically returns to cold water selection.
Likewise, after 5 seconds of hot water dispensing, the selection of hot water is canceled to prevent
the risk of burns from children or the elderly people.
Automatic filter cleaning system
Automatic filter cleaning system is applied to constantly maintain the filter quality by eliminating ac-
cumulated contaminant.

4. Installation cautions
When transporting the product, do not tilt it over 45。.
※Severe tilting can cause performance degradation.
Keep the product approximately 8" (20 cm) away from the wall for proper ventilation.
Use the following water quality range.
• Water pressure : 0.5~7 kgf/cm2(50~686 kPa) • Water temperature : 39~100 °F(4~38 °C)
•
pH : 5.8~8.5 •Water hardness : 300 ppm or less
• Turbidity: below 0.5 NTU •Water quality : Biologically safe water quality
※When using the water out of range, discuss it with the company. If not, the product can be excluded from
the stated warranty.
Do not connect hot water over 100 °F(38
OC
) to this product.
※This can cause trouble and decline in ice making performance.
When connecting tube, ensure that the tube is not bent or pressed down by heavy objects, etc.
※If tube is bent or pressed, water does not flow well and can cause problems.
The highest point of installed brine tube must be less than 12"(30 cm) away from the flat floor. Total length of brine tube
must be less than 118"(3 m). Otherwise, water is not drained well.
When installing more than one product(water purifier, shower softener, etc.), tubes of source water, brine water need
to be independent for one another.
Adjust the tube so that brine water may not splash around area.
※Brine water can easily be used for other purposes, such as bathroom cleaning, house cleaning, laundering,
washing, etc. Never use the brine water for drinking or cooking.
Do not install the product at the following places.
• Near fire or heater • Near flammable material • Wet place
• A place exposed to rain or snow • A place exposed to direct sunlight
• Near chemicals(volatile material, organic solvent, etc.)
• A place below 32 °F(0 °C) or a place with the possibility of dropping below 32 °F(0 °C).
• A place above 104 °F(40 °C) or a place with the possibility of rising above 104 °F(40 °C).
Install the product at a place where the surface is flat, and after installation, always adjust the level of the product by
using a level gauge.

Connect tube to brine on the back of the product. And then, connect tube to
drain hole such as sink, toilet etc..
Turn on water supply valve connected to the house and position the adapter
(source water valve) "OPEN".
Do not plug in the power for 30 minutes in order to stabilize the cooling system
and safe use of product.
Check if water is supplied into the product properly and there are any leakages on
every connection.
After 70 minutes has passed from supplying the power, check if water is coming
out by pressing the water dispensing button.
Fix hose!
Install horizontally.
Shut off water supply valve and separate the connector part of tap water in
order to connect an adapter(source water valve). Then, connect the adapter.
* If a sealing rubber(packing) is missing or the thread of a screw is damaged,
it may occur water leakage.
Connect the adapter(source water valve) and a water inlet on the rear of the
product with a tube.
※Install the brine water and drain water line separately. If drainage does not
function properly due to improper installation, it can cause water overflowing
up to the water gutter.

Fix the tubes not to splash around areas with water.

After the installation, put O-rings (2EA / included in user’s manual) under each of
the wheels to prevent rolling over to the other side.

(1) Hot to set the the hot water operation / power saving function
①Touch the Hot touch button lightly for 7 seconds or more.
②The sound appears 1 times while entering into the hot water / power saving func-
tion setting mode.(While setting, the hot water operation indicator LED Red is on)
※If there is no touch for more than 3 seconds in hot water operation / power
saving function selection mode, It goes out of the operation / power saving
function setting mode and operates in the set mode.
③Every time you touch the Hot touch button in the hot water operation / power saving function
setting mode, the three modes shown below are repeatedly selected.
※When the function is set, the corresponding LED is turned on and off when it is off.
※There are three hot water operation / power saving function setting modes, (Hot water on / Power saving off,
Hot water on / Power saving on, Hot water off / Power saving off) the option is repeatedly selected in order
※The brightness of the front display LED decreases when the surrounding brightness around the product
becomes dark during the power saving mode.

Precautions when using the power saving function
When the power saving function is selected, the hot water system automatically turns on / off according
to the brightness around the product. As a result, you will not be able to use hot water immediately.
Please do not use the power saving function in order to always use hot water regardless of the surrounding
brightness.
Power saving mode?
When the hot water function is set, the light sensor activates according to the brightness of the product
and automatically turns the hot water device on / off.
If the electric lamp is turned off to darken the surroundings of the product, it is determined that the hot
water is not used, to reduce power consumption.
When the area around the product becomes bright, the hot water system will start automatically regardless
of the power saving function.

(6) Beep sound releasing
①If you touch the Hot touch button and the Cold/Ambient touch button at the
same time for more than 3 seconds, the sound will be released.
②When you release the sound function, the sound rings 'ding ~ ding ~ ding ~ ding ~ ding ~'.
③When the power is turned off, Water Full LED / Hot LED / ECO LED / Cold LED will
blink 5 times at 1 second intervals.
(7) Beep sound resetting
①If you touch the Hot touch button and the Cold/Ambient touch button at the
same time for more than 3 seconds, Reset.
②When resetting, the sound rings 'ding ~ ding ~ ding ~ ding ~ ding ~'.
③Also, when resetting, the Water Full LED / Hot LED / ECO LED / Cold LED will
flicker 5 times at 1 second intervals.
(2) Cold water operation setting
①If you touch the Cold/Ambient touch button for more than 7 seconds,
the sound appears ding~ ding~ and the cold water is set.
(Cold water operation is set, Cold LED light on Blue.)
※Touch the button for more than 7 seconds without interruption even if the sound
occurs 3 seconds after the touch starts.(If you stop touching after 3 seconds, it ent-
ers into the continuous dispensing mode.)
(3) Cold water operation releasing
①Touch the Cold/Ambient touch button for more than 7 seconds.
②The cold water function is canceled while the sound is ding.
(Cold water operation is released, LED is turned off.)
※When the cold water function is canceled, the water in the cold water tank can be
dispensed. But the cold water function does not work.
※Touch the button for more than 7 seconds without interruption even if the sound
occurs 3 seconds after the touch starts. (If you stop touching after 3 seconds, it
enters into the continuous dispensing mode.)
(4) Constant water dispensing setting
①If you touch the Cold/Ambient touch button for 3 seconds,
it enters into the continuous dispensing mode.
②In continuous dispensing mode, press Cold/Ambient touch button to select
cold water / ambient water. (Corresponding LED is on when selected.)
※If you do not take water even if you select continuous water mode, the selection
is automatically released after 10 seconds.
※Hot water can not be taken continuously.
※The continuous dispensing time of a cold water/ambient water is 32 to 34 seconds
to take about 1.5
ℓ .(There might be a difference in a dispensing amount depending
on the water level in the water tank.)
※Hot water can be taken simultaneously during the continuous mode.
(5) Constant water dispensing releasing
When Cold/Ambient touch button or dispensing button is pressed in the continuous
dispensing mode, the sound rings '~ Ding dong ~ ' and the continuous mode will be released.
(Cold LED is turned on blue when contact water dispensing is released. )

6. Usage
①Perform with the power plug plugged in.
②Turn on the drain switch on the top of the product backside.
③Remove two screws on the bottom of the product front cover
with the screwdriver. After releasing it, push the bottom cover
from top to bottom and pull it forward.
④After removing the bottom cover, open the drain valve located
on the left (Hot/Ambient water) and the right (Cold water) and
drain the water inside the tank completely.
※When the drain switch is turned on, all functions except for water
intake are stopped.
(1) How to dispense the hot water
When the Hot touch button is touched, the hot water selection LED is turned
on and when the water dispensing button is pressed in this state, hot water is dispensed.
The Hot selection LED flashes while hot water is being taken.
(2) How to dispense the cold water
When you touch the Cold/Ambient touch button, the cold water selection LED lights up.
At this time, cold water is dispensed by pressing the dispensing button.
※enerally, cold water is selected by default.
(3) How to dispense the ambient water
When you touch the Cold/Ambient touch button, the water dispensing selection LED
lights up. At this time, press to dispense the ambient water.
※If you do not use the water for a certain period of time after selecting an ambient water,
the cold water is selected by the default mode.
When taking the hot water, be careful not to get burned by the hot water.

Smart cleaning function
Empty the inside of the cold water tank automatically at the time of low
frequency every day. It is a smart pollution prevention function that re-
plenishes the water.
• 60 hours after the power connection is the standard time and this func-
tion operates at the same time every day.
Ex) When power is connected at 2pm, it operates at 2am in 1 day cycle.
For the operation time change, please turn the power off and on
after 12 hours of the desired time.
①During Smart cleaning function, Water Full LED / Hot LED / ECO LED
/ Cold LED flashes for 7 minutes. At this time, You can not use the
product.

7. Cautions during use
Refer to the voltage on the front page. Connect to the proper power source.
Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas.
(This can lead to overheating the outlet.)
Never move the product while in operation.
(This can cause a malfunction.)
Do not install the unit in a place where the temperature may drop below 32 °F(0 °C).
Do not touch the wire condenser on the rear side of unit. It is hot while the unit is in operation.
To avoid burns from hot water, use containers such as a cup during hot water dispensing.
Avoid the use of chemicals around the unit(volatile material, organic solvent, etc.) and do not place chemicals near
the unit.
In case, water is not served, check if source water can be cut or the machine is malfunctioning.
(In case of water cut-off, plugging out the power cord is recommended.)
Leave the unit unplugged, before cleaning the inside of the unit.
(An electric shock or fire may occur.)
If the unit does not respond to the touch buttons, broaden the contact area where the touch button is pressed.
In case the unit is not used for long period of time (More than 4 days), shut off the adapter(Source water valve) and
pull out the power plug. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
(Fire or electric shock may occur.)
When operating the cold&hot water, the time which can reach a set temperature might be different depending on
the surrounding circumstance.
(Temperature, humidity, raw water)
The water purifier filter is required to be replaced regularly in accordance with the replacement period so that you

The portion between purified water and removed water is 1:2. Brine water can be used for other purposes, such as
bathroom cleaning, house cleaning, laundering, washing etc.
(Do not use brine water for drinking or cooking.)
Use the unit in a place which is 1 meter away from the product that generates the 1 W electric wave.
Disconnect the power plug and lock the source water valve if the abnormal sound, smell and smoke occur, and then

①Shut off the source water valve and turn the

from the body.
② Rotate the inside-detachable water faucet deco to
remove it from the body.
③ After the inside-detachable water faucet cleaning,
replace the detachable water faucet back by turning to
the right .
④ Replace it back by turning to the right.

③ Empty water tank completely by drain valve.
Left side : Ambient and hot water
Right side : Cold water
④ Plug out.
⑤ Detach top cover after loosening the
fixed screws(2ea) on the rear of the unit.
⑨ Open source water valve.
⑩ Plug in.
⑥ Clean up the water tank and wash with
soft cloth or dried sanitary wipe. And
then assemble in a reverse way.
⑪ Check if cold and ambient water are served after 70 minutes.
(Water temperature: Based on 25 °C)
⑫ Drain the newly purified water completely and use it.
※Wash your hands first and put on sanitary gloves. Clean up the tank with soft
cloth or dried sanitary wipe.
※Do not use chemicals or detergent.
※Discard used sanitary wipe, sanitary gloves etc after cleaning.
※Make sure that tank cover is closed and air filter is installed properly.
※Clean up the tank once a month.

tank completely to let new water come in and empty water again to take fresh water.

T-Pre-rs-carbon filter
The carbon composite filter effectively removes the rust particle and suspended solid. It
uses the 3-stage filtration method maintaining the effectiveness of standard sediment
while extending the filter replacement cycle. At the same time, it eliminates effectively
the dissolved particle in water such as the chorine component, trihalomethanes (THMs),
and organic chemicals.
T-Membrane filter
It removes dissolved pollutants.(a molecular weight over 200, such as heavy metals,
bacteria and organic chemical contaminants) through RO filtration using a semi-perme-
able membrane(0.0001㎛pore size, 1/1,000,000 of hair) and the dissolved pollutants
are discharged through brine tube.
T-Post-carbon filter
It removes dissolved gases and odors to improve water taste.

11. How to replace filters
①Shut off the source water valve and turn the drain switch on the rear of unit ON.
②Loosen screws (2ea) beneath of the lower front panel and separate the lower front panel.
