Remarks
- Every time any of the TV or SAT buttons are pressed in step 5 the
remote control moves on to the next code and sends a signal out to shut
off.
- If, after you have pressed any of the TV or SAT button, the LED blinks 6
times the remote control has already moved on to the next code and the
search position has nished.
Learning functions from other remote controls
If you are missing certain functions from the original remote control you can
“teach” the universal remote control these functions from the original remote
control.
Besides controlling pre-programmed devices the universal remote control
can also control e.g. Hi-Fi equipment or air conditioning.
1. Press and hold in the SAT + together with TV/AV buttons at the same
time until the LED lights up.
. Aim the original remote control towards the IR eye on the universal
remote control with about 5 - 8 cm distance. Place the remote controls
on a level surface to give good contact between the remote controls.
Make sure to use new batteries in both of the remote controls.
3. Press quickly on the button you want to programme on the universal
control.
If no button is chosen within 10 seconds the LED blinks quickly 6 times
and the programming is interrupted.
. Press and hold in the corresponding button on the original remote
control.
5. Release the button on the original remote control when the LED blinks
once and has changed to a permanent light. The signal has now been
transferred.
If the LED blinks quickly 6 times the programming has not been
successful. Adjust the position of the remote controls in relationship to
each other and try again. If the receiving remote control does not want to
receive the code, hold in the button on the original remote control during
a longer period of time.
6. Repeat step 3 and to programme further functions.
When the programming is nished, press . The LED blinks 6 times and
the remote control is ready to be used.
