labels conform to international standards, are triangular in shape, and are colored black on a yellow
background. An informative text label may accompany the symbol label.
Hazard labeling is supplemented by safety notices in the appropriate equipment manual. These
notices contain additional information on the nature of the hazard and may also specify precautions.
Warning:
These draw the attention of personnel to hazards which may cause death or injury to the operator or
others. Examples of use are cases of high voltage, laser emission, toxic substances, point of high
temperature, etc.
Alert:
These draw the attention of personnel to hazards which may cause damage to the equipment. An
example of use is the case of static electricity hazard.
Caution notices may also be used in the handbook to draw attention to matters that do not constitute a
risk of causing damage to the equipment but where there is a possibility of seriously impairing its
performance, e.g. by mishandling or gross maladjustment. Warnings and Cautions within the main
text do not incorporate labels and may be in shortened form.

1 GENERAL INFORMATION
SR-2110 WCDMA Indoor Band Adjustable Repeater is designed for indoor or sheltered outdoor
operation in the WCDMA band. It is applicable for applications where small or medium area coverage
is required, such as residential apartments, offices, shopping malls, hotels and tunnels.
Its band-specific linear amplifier effectively amplifies the desired BTS carriers and IF filtering
effectively provides superior out-of-band rejection. Besides, this system provides with the function of
automatic temperature compensating for gain and working frequency.
Remote configuration and surveillance is possible through Comba’s remote control and monitoring
system, via PC or wireless modem to the OMT/OMC.
Characteristics of the SR-2110 repeater are as follows:
•Band adjustable with 5M, 10M, 15M. User-customized fixed bandwidth.
•Adjustable central frequency within 60M WCDMA frequency band.
•Filtering and amplification of both uplink and downlink signals with good system gain.
•Low noise amplifier improves uplink system noise figure for better voice quality and reduced
dropped call.
•Back-up Li-ion battery keeps the alarm unit running for up to two hours after power cut.
•The enclosure is designed for all weather installation - waterproof, damp-proof and omni-
sealed (IP65).
Two variants of the SR-2110 are available – please refer to the product label for the identifier code:
•
SR-2110 Master Unit: comes with wireless modem and functions as a master unit
•
SR-2110 Slave Unit : comes without wireless modem and functions as a slave unit

2 EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
2.1 SYSTEM DIAGRAM
Fig 2: SR-2110 System Diagram
As shown in the above figure, the downlink BTS signals are received by donor antenna (connected
with DT port and located outdoor). After the duplexer the signals are sent to LNA for pre-amplification,
to the integrated module afterwards to get required output power. Then the signals are filtered by
duplexer and sent to service antenna (connected with MT port and located indoor) to cover the area.
In uplink, the signals from subscriber’s handset are sent to the device through service antenna. After
the duplexer the signals are sent to LNA and the integrated module. Then after the duplexer again, the
signals are sent to BTS through donor antenna.

2.3 GENERAL COMPONENTS
The SR-2110 system consists of the following:
Integrated Module: integrated with Main Control Unit and UL/DL FSA Module. This module is used to
select and amplify the required channel frequency and reject the undesired signals, as well as to
monitor and control the operation parameters of the repeater and provide telecommunication interface
for remote control.
Fig 4: Integrated Module of SR-2110 System
Integrated Duplexer (DPX): located towards the DT and MT connections, used to combine/divide the
UL and DL signals.
Power Supply Unit (PSU): converts the input 220VAC into stable DC to supply power to LNA, PA,
MCU and to charge the built-in Li-ion battery.
Wireless Modem: is used for remote system monitoring.
Li-ion Battery: will supply power to MCU for up to two hours in the event of mains failure.
Note: for SR-2110 slave unit, the wireless modem does not exist.
