Introduction
Thank you for choosing a Comelit Secur Hub wireless intruder alarm system. It is designed to oer the utmost flexibility and ease of use. Cutting-edge connectivity,
advanced video verification functions and elegant design make it the perfect choice to keep your family and your property safe.
The system can be armed in various ways, depending on the routines and requirements of its users. All sensors oer constant and reliable monitoring of your
residence, thanks to two-way communication which maximises information redundancy. Audible, visual or silent notifications of any violations or tampering can be
provided on site or remotely through a wide range of signalling channels: e-mail, voice calls, SMS or app notifications. The control panel can also be connected to
a alarm receiving centre (ARC) by means of specific protocols.
Real-time management, supervision and video verification are available via the Comelit app for Android and iOS. Live viewing - via the app - of the IP cameras
connected to the system is instant and allows you to check the actual cause of any alarms, or to check whether everything is OK at home. A short video can also
be recorded and sent to the app when an alarm occurs on the system, including the few seconds prior to the intruder event.
The control panel has a built-in microphone and speaker which allow users to call rooms from a remote telephone and start a hands-free two-way audio
conversation. A GSM or 3G module is required for this function.
The built-in speaker can be used to play customisable messages relating to most control panel procedures.
This manual will guide you through basic control panel operation using the keypad and remote control.
If connected to the internet, this Comelit device is configured to receive automatic updates via the Comelit Cloud.
The updates will be installed automatically as soon as a new software version is released, to oer the latest functions and to guarantee improved device security.
Automatic updating can be disabled whenever necessary.

The control panel has a display that can show the system status. The pictures below illustrate the various messages based on the system status.
The messages on the display change depending on whether the system is used to monitor a single area or several areas. In the latter case (multi-area), the bottom
line of the display is divided into four to display the status of each individual area (only existing areas are actually shown). See below for the dierences between
single area and multi-area displays:

Accessing the menu

Forced arming
If open zones or faults are detected during the system arming procedure, the user will be asked to choose whether to proceed with a forced arming command or
to abandon the procedure. If “Enter” is pressed the system will proceed with forced arming and will arm according to the “Forced arm options”. You can also scroll
through the list of conditions to force using the down arrow.
The user menu is accessed by entering the user code followed by the down arrow. For a full overview of the options available to the user, please refer to the “User
menu” paragraph.
The system can be armed in various ways: total arm, part arm 1 and part arm 2.
Total arming is used when you are leaving the premises. In this arming condition, the whole system is armed and all detectors trigger an alarm if violated according
to their configuration. Note that some devices, such as flooding and smoke detectors, trigger an alarm regardless of the arming status.
Part arms 1 and 2 allow the user to arm parts of the system while they are still occupying other parts. For example, all window detectors can be armed, leaving the
indoor motion detectors disarmed. This allows the user to move freely around the rooms while the whole perimeter of the property is monitored. There are three
arming buttons on the keypad assigned by default to these arming modes.
A delay can be set on some detectors, to allow the user to leave the premises following an arming command or to enter the premises and disarm the system. Ask
your installer for more information.
Disarming the alarm system
The alarm system can be disarmed using the keypad, by entering the user code and pressing the open padlock icon in the bottom right-hand corner. An audible
confirmation tone and the text “Disarmed” confirm that disarming has taken place.
Flashing
If an incorrect code is entered three consecutive times while operating the system, the control panel will show the message “Device locked”,
followed by the message “Tamper:Code”. This condition can be reset by deactivating the alarm via the keypad, using a valid code.

Show bypassed zones
You can check the list of bypassed zones by pressing Enter. You can scroll through the list using the “Down arrow”.
System in alarm
In alarm condition, the type of alarm and the zone involved are shown. The red LED switches on.
If there is more than one alarm, you can scroll through them using the “Down arrow” (an arrow will appear on the right-hand side of the display to show that more
than one alarm is present).
Show open zones / faults
If there are open zones, the system will show “not ready to arm” and the green LED will flash. The “X” button will show the list of open zones, which will scroll
automatically (2 seconds for each zone). You can scroll through the list manually using the “Down arrow”.

Custom area arming
This procedure is used to configure a custom arming program in which the user can quickly select the arming status for each area.
• Access custom arming set with [CODE] + [ENTER]
• Using buttons 1, 2, 3, 4 the user can set the desired arming status for each area (if present). An asterisk beside the arming status indicates that the setting has
been changed (but the areas are not in that condition yet)
• The total arming button will then confirm the command.

Walk test
The walk test is used to check zone functions. When the system is in walk test mode, the installer should activate all zones in sequence and the system will emit
an audible signal after every activation. The display will show how many zones have been tested and the total number to test. A confirmation message will be
displayed when all the zones have been tested. The zones to be tested are selected in the installation menu. The zones with a poor RF signal are listed as missing
zones with the message “LOW!”.

Silencing an alarm / Alarm Memory
After an alarm is triggered, the control panel begins to send the intruder event alerts to the contacts in the phonebook programmed by the installer. The siren
begins to sound, the red LED on the control panel is lit steadily and the alarm alert is displayed. If the zone is reset, the control panel will show the notification
“Alarm memory” (flashing). Enter a valid user code and disarm the system to silence all the indications.
After disarming, the alarm memory will be shown once and then it will be reset. If the system is not disarmed after an alarm, the system will indicate an alarm
memory condition by means of the red LED flashing and the alert “Alarm memory” (flashing). The user can scroll through the alarm memory using the down arrow.

Generating a fire / medical / panic alarm
Specific button combinations can be used to activate emergency alarms. To program the recipients of notifications relating to these alarms, please contact your
installer. To activate the alarms, press the button combinations for approximately 2 seconds.

View / edit zone status
This menu can be used to select which zones will be bypassed in the next arming procedure. Bypassing prevents the violation of these zones from triggering an
alarm. The same menu can be used to isolate a zone (this prevents that zone from generating any messages, including the tampering message).
Please bear in mind that bypassed zones are automatically re-included when the system is disarmed.

The remote control has 4 buttons. All the buttons can be configured using the programming software on the control panel. By default button 1 is assigned to the
“total arming” command, button 2 to “disarm”, button 3 to “part arm 1” and button 4 to “part arm 2”.
Keypad lock/unlock:
fPress and hold buttons 2 and 4 until the orange LED starts flashing rapidly. While it is flashing, press button 4 once.
»The red LED will confirm locking.
»The green LED will confirm unlocking.
LED indications:
• Button pressed: Short red flash.
• Command executed: two green flashes.
• Command rejected: two red flashes.
• Arming: Slow red flash.
• Disarming: Slow green flash.
• Low battery: Yellow flash preceding any other signal.
Adding new user codes
Other user codes can be added by entering the user menu and selecting the “Alarm > Users > Users” menu. Select a user from the list and press enter. This menu
can be used to enter a description and set a new code, for which confirmation will be requested.

Consult event log
Use this function to consult the event log. The control panel can log up to 1024 events. New events are stored in the log as event 0000. Event 1023 becomes 1024
and is then deleted from the log.
To consult the log:
1. Enter the user code (default 111111) using the alphanumeric keypad and press the down arrow.
2. Enter the “Alarm” menu by pressing Enter/Confirm.
3. Move on to the Event log menu using the navigation keypad and enter the menu by pressing Enter/Confirm.
»The possible options are as follows:
• Event memory: can be used to view the entire list of events.
• Alarm memory: only shows alarm events for the most recent arming period.
»The event type (activation or reset), the event description and the event date and time are shown first.
fFor more information, press the right-hand arrow on the navigation keypad; at this point all the other data will be shown.
fTo scroll through the log, use the up and down arrows on the navigation keypad. See below for a diagram illustrating navigation within the Event log.

This procedure executes a system disarm command. An audible confirmation tone and the text “Disarmed” confirm that disarming
has taken place.
• Area arming
This procedure is used to configure a custom arming program in which the user can quickly select the arming status
for each area. See page 6.
• Arming programs
This procedure is used to activate alarm scenarios programmed using the SecurHUB Manager configuration software (contact your
installer).

Quick commands
This section contains a list of commands that can be selected to manually activate some alarms or to carry out some procedures, such as resetting the alarm
memory, stop sirens and more.
• 24H: This procedure is used to generate a generic alarm and to send the corresponding message as configured by your installer to the relevant recipients.
• Fire: This procedure is used to generate a fire alarm and to send the corresponding message as configured by your installer to the relevant recipients.
• Panic: This procedure is used to generate a panic alarm and to send the corresponding message as configured by your installer to the relevant recipients.
• Medical: This procedure is used to generate a medical alarm and to send the corresponding message as configured by your installer to the relevant recipients.
• Rapine: This procedure is used to generate a rapine alarm and to send the corresponding message as configured by your installer to the relevant recipients.
• Water: This procedure is used to generate a water alarm and to send the corresponding message as configured by your installer to the relevant recipients.
• Extra time: This procedure is used to generate an “extra time” command which will delay subsequent programmed arming of the control panel according to the
configurations implemented by your installer.
• Stop alarm: This procedure is used to stop the sirens that sound after an alarm is triggered. This command does not disarm the system.
• Reset alarm: This procedure is used to reset the alarm memory of the system. By default the alarm memory also resets after the system is disarmed. Contact
your installer to find out more about options concerning the alarm memory reset procedure.
• Stop reporting: This procedure is used to stop all communications in progress after an alarm is triggered.
• Reset fire alarm: This procedure is used to execute a fire alarm reset command.
• Call service: For future uses.

This menu is used to perform operational tests for some elements.
• Walk test
The walk test is used to check zone functions. See page 7.
• Sirens test
Sirens test is used to make sure the sirens installed are working properly.

• Communications test
Communications test is used to send a test message to the recipients configured by your installer. Select the recipient (a contact in the
phonebook) and press enter to send the test message.
• Test SIM
Test SIM is used to make sure the operating status and signal level of the SIM installed in the 2G or 3G module are correct.
• WIFI sig. level
WIFI sig. level is used to check the signal reliability (as a percentage) of the Wi-Fi network to which the control panel is connected.
• Battery status
Battery status is used to check the charge status of the control panel battery.
• RSSI
RSSI is used to check the strength of the radio signal between the control panel and the devices connected (RF remotes, sirens, PIRs, magnetic contacts).
The percentage
shown relates to the most recent communication that took place with the selected device. The value can be updated by activating the zone (for example,
by opening and
closing the magnetic contact).
All devices with the corresponding signal strength data will scroll cyclically on the display.

Users
This menu is used to create and change new user codes that will be able to use the alarm system. Up to 32 users with dierent profiles and authorisations
can be added. User 01 is already programmed by default with code 111111. The code and relevant settings can also be changed
for User 01.

Scroll through the list of users and select the one you want to work on:
• User 01

Once you have selected the user you will be able to use the following options:
• Description: used to customise the user description.
• Code: used to change the user code. Depending on the user profile assigned, some users can change their own code only, without being able to change
those associated with others. N.B.: 4-, 5- and 6-digit user codes can be used.
• Profile: used to select the profile associated with the user. Profiles should be set by your installer. A user profile defines which procedures a user code is
authorised to carry out within the system.
• Schedule: This menu is used to assign a user code to a timer for the schedule programmer. This allows the selected user code to be operative only during the
time bands set for the corresponding timer. Contact your installer for timer and time and programming.
• Areas: Used to select in which areas the user is authorised to operate. A user may not, for example, be authorised to operate within the whole system but only
in a specific area.
• Control devices: this menu can be used to set whether the user is authorised to operate the control panel keypad or not.
• Delete user: used to remove the selected user.
• Add remote
this menu is used to acquire new RF remotes on the control panel. Once it has been acquired according to the procedure below, a user
will need to be assigned to the remote.
◊ Acquire: used to acquire a new remote.
1. Select which position to pair the new remote with and confirm by pressing enter: the control panel now waits for an acquisition signal from the device.
2. Press any of the remote keys once
»The red LED flashes slowly while waiting for the control panel to confirm acquisition.
»The LED displays the acquisition result and provides signal (RSSI) indication:
• 3 green flashes: stable connection
• 3 orange flashes: unstable connection
• 3 red flashes: device not acquired
• Edit/del remote
This menu is used to change the parameters for acquired remotes
• Change user: used to change the user to which the remote is assigned.
• Delete remote: used to delete the remote.

Alarm options
The “Alarm options” menu is used to change some control panel settings which may vary depending on the end user’s preferences and routines.
• Voice guide
This menu can be used to enable or disable the voice guide function which uses the loudspeaker built into the control panel to confirm, in hands-free
mode, the main actions carried out by the control panel.

This menu can be used to specify whether the system areas are enabled or not, for automatic arming by means of timers (automatic
arming).

• Buzzer enable
This menu is used to enable or disable sounds emitted by the buzzer built into the control panel for each of the situations listed below. The buzzer
emits a dierent sound for each of the various procedures listed.
• Entry time: enables sound alerts during the entry delay.
• Exit time: enables sound alerts during the exit delay.
• Alarm: enables alarm sound alerts on the control panel. This setting does not aect the operating mode setting for the external siren.
• Auto-arm warning : enables sound alerts during the pre-alert period set by the installer for automatic armings.
• Chime: enables the sound alert corresponding to the activation of zones with the “Chime” attribute.
• Key press: enables the sound alert corresponding to the pressing of every button.
• Arm/disarm: enables the sound alert confirming that arming or disarming has taken place.
• Fail to set : enables the sound alert corresponding to a lack of arming (fail to arm upon exit).
• Show bypass zone
This menu can be used to enable or disable the option of viewing bypassed / isolated zones by pressing the Enter button on the keypad. See page 6.

Video settings
This menu is used to change some of the settings corresponding to the control panel, and those set by the installer for video functions.
• Recorded stream: used to set which of the video streams corresponding to the selected camera should be used to record alarm videos. Contact your installer
for further information.

Communications
Phonebook
• Phonebook: this menu is used to manage phonebook contacts registered on the system by your installer.
• Call: used to call the telephone number associated with the contact.
• Edit: this menu is used to edit the following parameters for the selected contact.
◊ Description: this menu is used to edit the name of the contact shown on the display.
◊ Phone number: this menu is used to edit the telephone number of the selected contact.
◊ Email: edit the email address associated with the contact.
◊ Disable APP: this procedure disables the Comelit app for this contact, who will no longer be able to use the system via the Comelit app.
• Call number: this menu can be used to call a telephone number using the number keypad. Module
HUB2G or HUB3G is required for this function, to manage calls over the GSM network.
2way audio sett
• Enabled: if this option is selected, the two-way audio function will be enabled, allowing the users to begin a two-way audio communication with the
control panel by calling the telephone number of the control panel SIM. This function requires a HUB2G or HUB3G GSM module.
• Disabled: if this option is selected, the two-way audio function will be disabled.

Date and time
• Set time
This menu can be used to set the system time. The system time is also set automatically if the control panel has internet access.
• Date format
This menu is used to select the format used to display the system date.
• Set date
This menu can be used to set the system date.
• Time zone
This menu is used to select your time zone.
• Daylight time
This menu is used to select on which days the switch to and from daylight saving time should be implemented. The options include the days used across
most of Europe or the USA. You can also disable automatic switching to and from daylight saving time.
• NTP server
This menu is used to enable or disable the NTP service which automatically updates the control panel time via an internet connection.
Wifi networks
• View dflt. Wifi
This menu is used to view the WiFi network to which you are currently connected.
• Wifi disconnect
This menu is used to disconnect the control panel from the WiFi network in use.
• Accessible wifi
This menu is used to view and connect to the available WiFi networks.
Brightness
This menu is used to adjust the display brightness by selecting a value between 1 and 9.
Audio
• Speaker level
This menu is used to adjust the volume of the control panel loudspeaker by setting a value between 0 and 100% using the number keypad. This is the
volume used by the control panel for announcements relating to the voice guide.
• Microphone gain
This menu is used to adjust the sensitivity of the control panel microphone by setting a value between 0 and 100% using the number keypad.
• Buzzer volume
This menu is used to adjust the volume of the control panel buzzer by setting a value between 0 and 100% using the number keypad. This setting is used
for all control panel sound alerts set in the menu relating to the buzzer, except the “Alarm” alert, which has its volume set to maximum regardless of this
setting.

• View SIM number
This menu is used to view the telephone number associated with the inserted SIM.
• Expire date (Menu not active - Future uses)
Language
This menu can be used to select the system language.
Active time prg
This menu can be used to view the active time programs for the following sections, and therefore to activate or deactivate them. Contact your installer to set the
time programs. If there are programmed time programs on the control panel relating to auto-activations, user enabling, exits or macros, this menu can be used to
inhibit or resume their operation. For example: if time program 01 was programmed to arm and disarm a shop automatically, this menu can be used to pause the
automated action and reactivate it in accordance with the user’s requirements.
• Used for arming: this menu is used to enable or disable timers relating to system automatic armings.

• Used for users: this menu is used to enable or disable timers relating to system user authorisations for specific time intervals.
• Used for outputs: this menu is used to enable or disable timers relating to system user authorisations for specific time intervals.
• Used for macro: this menu is used to enable or disable timers relating to authorisations for system macros programmed by the installer.
• Used for cctv: not used.
• Holiday group: this menu is used to customise holiday group 5 which was programmed on the control panel by the
installer. The dates listed in this menu can be changed by the end user if holiday group 5 is used in the context of an automatic arming.
APP act. code
This menu can be used to generate a temporary code for use in the Comelit APP pairing procedure. The control panel shows the list of App - IDs, showing the text
“Available” for the free IDs. On confirming the request for a free slot, the control panel displays a temporary code which must be entered when prompted by the
Comelit app during the creation of a new system.
The free Comelit app used to manage the Secur Hub control panel is available for Android and iOS in the respective stores.
Follow the steps in the app to complete the process.
SW act. code
This menu can be used to generate a temporary code for use in the Secur Hub control panel manager and HUB Manager installer software pairing procedure.
This code, the validity of which is limited to 10 minutes, can be given to an installer who wants to connect remotely to the control panel in order to program it or to
check its operating status.
Del. cloud files
connections and connections originating from the Hub Manager programming software will be disabled and the control panel can no longer be reached via the
cloud channel until it is acquired again using a temporary code (by app or by software).
This menu can be used to disable all connections using the Comelit cloud to reach the control panel, and to delete them from the control panel. The app
Enable installer
This menu is used to authorise your installer to work on the system. Using an installer code. Once this command has been launched, the installer can access
the dedicated programming menu using their code. Similarly, they will be able to program the control panel using the Hub Manager software. The control panel
requires that an installer code is also able to work on the system without authorisation: for this setting, please refer to the installation and programming manual.
