• This motion a tivated twin floodlight should be installed by persons with experien e in house-
hold wiring or by a qualified ele tri ian. The ele tri al system, and the method of ele tri ally
onne ting the fixture to it, must be in a ordan e with the National Ele tri al Code and lo al
building odes.
• Use only with a 100 watt or smaller wattage bulb. Installing a bulb of higher wattage ould
reate a fire hazard. Use of a higher wattage bulb will void the warranty.
• Never tou h the bulb with your bare hands, as oil from your skin an ause premature failure.
Always handle the bulb with gloves or a soft loth.
• For supply onne tions, use wire rated at least 75 degrees C.
• For proper operation and prote tion against damage, the motion sensor head adjustment knobs
must be fa ing the ground.
• In the event of lens breakage, onta t Customer Servi e for ordering assistan e.
• Disassembly of your fixture will void the warranty.

For best results
• Install your fixture 8-12 feet above ground (motion dete tor is less
sensitive above 12 feet).
• Lo ate fixture so motion moves a ross dete tion zone (L).
• Lo ate fixture away from heat produ ing sour es to prevent
false triggering. Also be very areful not to in lude obje ts su h as win-
dows, white walls and water in the dete tion zone whenever possible.
• Lo ate fixture away from moving obje ts su h as trees and street traffi .
• Do not install more than one motion dete tor on one wall swit h.
Installing your bulb
Step 1: Remove the lens over by twisting it one-half turn ounter lo kwise.
Step 2: Using gloves or a soft loth, gently insert bulb into housing. NOTE: Align two pins
lo ated on the sides of the bulb with two small
slots in the so ket, press bulb into spring loaded
so ket and twist a half turn lo kwise, until firmly
seated. Repeat this pro edure for the other light.
Step 3: Repla e the lens (making sure the gasket is in
pla e) by aligning the not hes on the housing with
the over and pressing while turning one-half turn
lo kwise until seated.
Mounting your fixture
Step 1: Turn off the power at the main fuse/breaker box.
Step 2: Line up the holes on the mounting bra ket with the holes on your
jun tion box. Using either (2) #6 s rews or (2) #8 s rews (depending
on size of the holes in your jun tion box), atta h the mounting bra ket
to your jun tion box (M).
Step 3: Hang one end of the mounting hook onto the mounting bra ket
(using the hole in the bra ket, see drawing), and hang the light
fixture on the other end of the mounting hook. NOTE: Carefully
hang the fixture at the base of the lampholder assembly as shown.
This will free-up your hands for wiring.
Step 4: Thread fixture wires through overplate gasket.
Step 5: If the supply wires coming from your house are solid, you an use
the Qui k- onne t™ wire system to atta h your Regent light
fixture. NOTE: Qui k onne tors an only be used with solid wire
supply leads. Simply insert the bla k supply wire from your house
into the qui k onne tor with bla k wire oming from the fixture.
Repeat for house white wire, mat hing to the onne tor with the
white wire. Push both wires firmly into holes to insure that they are
seated properly and se urely (N). It’s that easy! Proceed to Step 7.
Step 6: If the supply wires coming from your house are stranded, remove
the qui k onne tors from the end of the light fixture wires by turning
them repeatedly from left to right while pulling. Repeat until they
are both removed. Remember: Quick connectors can only be
used with solid wire supply leads. Do not attempt to use with
other electrical fixtures! These connectors are designed to
withstand the temperature and Voltage requirements of this
Regent product only. On e the onne tors have been removed,
onne t bla k wire to house bla k wire and onne t white wire to
house white wire using the wire nuts provided.
