FEATURES
1. Quantitive extraction function
It is convenient as we can drink a glass of water by performing the
quantitive extraction.
2. Hot water locking device, hot water warning
eects device
It applied the hot water locking devices to prevent the danger of
burn when child extracts the hot water by the curiosity, and the hot
water doesn’t be extracted and it gives the warning sound even if
you press the hot water extraction button in the locking status.
3. Cold water/hot water/room(ambient) water
extracting with one faucet
It added the customer’s convenience for the cold water/the hot
water/the room(ambient) water using one faucet.
4. Power saving function using the light sensor
When you set the sleep mode, as it decreases the driving times of
the motor and the heater at night automatically, the amount of the
power consumption is decreased.
5. Indication part that can see the product status at a
glance
It is convenient as it can see the product status at a glance using

Danger : If not observed, serious injury or even death

• Do not use a damaged power cord or plug, and loose outlet.

• Do not carry the unit by its power cord.
• Do not touch the power plug with a wet hand.
• Do not forcefully bend the power cord or put it under a heavy

• Remove any dust or water o in the pin and contacts of the
power plug.
• Do not plug into an outlet that is being used by several other
appliances.
Use an electrical outlet dedicated.
• When you don’t use for a long time, close the main water supply
valve and unplug.
• Do not attempt to repair or modify the power cord at your
discretion.
• In the case the power cord is damaged, do not replace the cord
yourself. Call Coway Service Center to have it replaced.
• Do not install near a heating device.
• When the water is coming inside of the product or there is a
puddle on the product, call Service Center after closing the
supplying valve and unplugging.

• If our product produces a strange noise or odd smell,
immediately unplug from the electrical outlet and call our
Service Center.
• Do not put the candle, a light for cigarette on the products.
• Do not place any containers with water, medicine, food, small
metallic objects, or any ammable material on the top of the
product.
• Clean after unplugging.

Caution : If not observed, minor physical injury or property

• The ltration device installation shall comply with applicable
state and local regulations.
• Use after closing the water tank cover completely inside of the
product.
• To drink the ltered, change the lter according to the lter
replacement cycle.
• When you don’t use for a long time, use after draining the saved
water completely and emptying the newly room water once
again.
• Do not use ltered water for the water exchange of an aquarium
or a shbowl.
• After moving the product or replacing the inno-sense lter, the
black powder can be remained in the inner bottom of the water
tank.
• Rotate with grasping the room water extraction faucet or don’t
raise the product using the faucet.
• Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after
the system.

The CHP-06DL conforms to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 58 for the reduction of Aesthetic Chlorine, Taste
and Odor, VOCs, Pentavalent Arsenic, Barium, Radium 226/228, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium,
Trivalent Chromium, Lead, Copper, Selenium and TDS as veried and substantiated by test data
and NSF/ANSI 372 for low lead compliance.
See performance data sheet for individual contaminants and reduction performance.
The lter is the core technology of the ltration system.
If you don’t use qualifying lter or if you use an old lter that has expired, the system
performance may degrade.

The Antibacterial lter contains silver, which is known to inhibit the propagation of microorganisms and to
maintain the integrity of the lter.
Uses of reject water
- The reject water should be used for cleaning the restroom, the house,
clothes, or purposes other than drinking.
- Never use the reject water for a drinking or cooking.

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
1. Close main water supply valve to separate the faucet.
2. Apply the teon tape on the adaptor and t it to the
pipe.
3. Connect the faucet with the adaptor.
4. Connect 1/4 inch orange tubing with the connector
on the adaptor.
5. Open the feed valve to supply water to the ltration
system.
The summary for the proper installation of the water ltration device
Do not turn the water pipe.
Shall install the adaptor with connector on the cold water
pipe.
Flush water through each lter at least 5 minutes before
Connection.

The main water must be supplied to operate the water ltration device normally.

Get rid of the saved water above the full water in the inner water tank 2 times or more to use.

When the indicator in the indication part is turned o, check if the power supply was stopped
due to the power failure or other cause.
• Regularlterreplacement
It is important to replace the lter regularly to maintain water quality as it is designed. If the lter
is overused beyond its service life, the performance of the water ltration device deteriorate. Do
not miss the lter replacement cycle.
• Whenyoudidn’tuseforalongtime
If you saved the water for a long time or you didn’t use, drain the water inside of the water
ltration device completely and remove the newly ltered water one time to use.
• Whenyoudon’twanttousetheproductforalongtime.
Close the main water supply valve and unplug the power cord.
When you don’t use for a long time, close the main water supply valve and
unplug the power cord.
Tips
Please check before use!
Only connect the power cord to the voltage rating that matches it
on the rating plate.

To use cold water
Press cold water mode selection button for about 3
seconds or more, then cold water mode indicator will be
turned on. When you want to turn o cold water mode,
press the selection button for about 3 seconds or more.
When you are using the product for the rst time, or
if the cold water feature is o for a long time, then it
takes about an hour for the water to reach a preset
cold water temperature.
To use hot water
Press hot water mode selection button for about 3
seconds or more, then hot water mode indicator will be
turned on. When you want to turn o hot water mode,
press the selection button for about 3 seconds or more.
When you are using the product for the rst time, or
if the hot water feature is o for a long time, then it
takes about 30 minutes for the water to reach a preset
hot water temperature.

To use the hot water locking mode
Press the hot water locking button for about 3 seconds
and check if the hot water locking indicator in the
indicator part is turned on. If you wish to turn o the hot
water locking mode, press hot water locking button for
about 3 seconds or more.
Selecting the power-saving function
If you press and hold the hot water and cold water mode
selection buttons down simultaneously for approximately
3 seconds, the hot water LED blinks, a “Ding~” sound is
played and setup mode is activated. At this time, if you
press the cold water mode selection button once, the
cold water temperature LED is turned on and the power-
saving function is activated. (The cold water temperature
LED is turned o when the power-saving function is
disabled.)
When the mode selection is complete, and you press and
hold the room temperature water mode selection button
for approximately 3 seconds, the selection is saved and
the state changes to the standby state.
Using the set quantity extraction
function
If you press and hold the hot water and cold water mode
selection buttons down simultaneously for approximately
3 seconds, the hot water LED blinks, a “Ding~” sound
is played and the setup mode is activated. At this time,
whenever you press the hot water mode selection
button, the amount of water to be extracted cycles
through 120 mL  200 mL  300 mL  120 mL in this
sequence and the corresponding hot water temperature
LEDs are turned on. When the setting is complete, and
you press and hold the room temperature water mode
selection button for approximately 3 seconds, the
selection is saved and the state changes to the standby
state.

HOW TO USE
If you check the cold water temperature indicator and
press the extraction button by selecting the cold water
button, about 1 cup of the cold water (paper cup basis)
is extracted. When
you press the
extraction button
again during
the extraction,
the extraction is
stopped.
Check the hot water temperature LED, select the hot
water button and press the extract button. An amount
of hot water of one paper cup is extracted. If you
press the extract
button again
while hot water is
being extracted,
the extraction is
stopped.
If the cold water doesn’t come from the water ltration device, check if the cold
water mode indicator is turned on (See P.12).

If the hot water doesn’t come from the water ltration device, check if the hot
water mode indicator is turned on (See P.12).
To protect the burning by the hot water, if you don’t press the extraction button
within a certain time (about 5 seconds) after pressing the hot water selection
button, it is switched to the cold water extraction status automatically.
To protect the burning by the hot water, it is switched to the cold water
extraction status automatically when a certain time (about 5 seconds) is
passed after extracting the hot water.
When the warning sound only is ringing without extracting the hot water, check
the hot water locking indicator (See P.12).

When you select the room(ambient) water button and press the extraction button, about 1 cup of
the room(ambient) water (paper cup basis) is extracted. When you press the extraction button again
during the extraction, the extraction is stopped.
If you select a type of water (cold water/hot water/
room temperature water) and press and hold
the extract button at the top of the faucet for
approximately 3 seconds, the extraction LED is blinked
and you can extract the selected water for 60 seconds
continuously.
If you press the extract button again during the
extraction, the extraction is stopped.

Follow the instruction for installation
Connect the orange color inlet tubing 1 to the tap water

Water ltration device installation place 1
Please install the water ltration system not at a rough place, a
damp place, a place where the unit is exposed to the direct sunlight,
a place where dust is present, or a place that the water drops.
Water ltration device installation place 2
Please install at the place where it is 10 cm or more o from the wall
and the bottom is at and rm.
After installing the water ltration system
Please empty the water tank lled with ltered water two times after
the product installation.
Cold water plumbing
Please connect the source water. Make sure that the source water is
not from hot water line. If you use hot water as source water, then
it will cause permanent damages to RO membrane and severely
degrade the product performance.
Movement and installation
When the position is moved, connect the power cord when 30
minutes passes after installing.
Be cautious!
To maintain optimal product performance, consult a Coway engineer for the
detailed installation methods.
There may be some water remaining inside of the lter which was used to
test the product during inspection process at the factory.
Please feel at easy and use as it isn’t the used product.
Don’t reuse the main water supply valve and hose that was previously used
when you re-install the product.

CLEANING METHOD
1. Turnobypressingcoldwater/hotwatermode
selection button in the front of the product for 3
seconds or more and unplug the power cord.
Close the main water supply valve.
2. Open the side draining door and pull out the red draining faucet. Empty
the water tank completely using the draining hose and unplug the power
cord.
Since hot water is drained immediately once the draining hose is connected, take care not to
burn yourself.
3. Please remove the top cover, and then un-hook the xed clip holding the
top cover of the water tank. Now remove hose and open the tank cover.

4. Please mount the antibacterial lter *again after separating it from the water
tank cover and cleaning it by shaking in the drained water. (Antibacterial lter
– option *)
5. Please wipe the surface of the storage tank with
soft clothes.
6. Use the storage tank after cleaning it with the drained water, plug-in
the power cord, then empty the water tank using the draining hose and
continuous extraction method. After cleaning, please close both tank and
top cover, then empty the water tank lled with ltered water one more
time.
