1. INTRODUCTION
For best print quality, some filaments may need to stabilize the build area temperature. This can significantly reduce
the possibility of warping printed objects.
That’s why we also offer the elegant and durable printer cover and door for Crabot printers.
Learning from previous feedback, the dome now consists of two parts so that we can easily reach the machine if
necessary. The door was fied with an electric lock so that we could even open it remotely.
This manual walks you through the steps of installing the dome.

2. ACCESSORIES
Below you can see contents of the box. First of all, check the list to make sure nothing is missing!
1. Front cover (1x)
2. Rear cover (1x)
3. Screws (10x)
Tools needed: 2.5mm allen key
Installation time: 10 mins
3. INSTALLATION
Please follow the steps listed below to install the dome.
• Remove the filament spool holder.
• Remove the filament tube holder.
• Remove the screws marked with an arrow on the top cover of the printer. (6x)
• Place the rear cover to the printer. Please be sure, the cover sits properly on the printer’s top cover.

• Aach the filament spool holder. Use the supplied longer screw. (1x)
• Aach the filament tube holder. Use the supplied longer screw. (1x)
• Aach the filament guide tube.
• Insert the tube back into the extruder.

• Fasten the front of the dome. Use the supplied longer screws. (2x)
• Place the front cover to the printer. The cover goes under the rear cover.
• Make sure the filament guide tubes are between the brushes, and not pinched by the cover itself.
• If necessary, fix the front cover with the supplied screws. (2x)

• Connect the dome fan.
• Adjust the dome fan speed in Seings / Fan / Others menu.

4. REACH IN INTO THE PRINTER
For filament change and maintenance it is necessary to reach into the printer.
To avoid accidents, it may be necessary to secure the front cover. In this case, the fastest way to change the filament
is to reach out from below.
4.1 Reach in from below
• Lower the build plate to allow sufficient space for your arm. (Axes menu, Z arrow downwards)
• Disengage the motors, and move the extruders to the back / middle of the build area.
• Reach in, and perform the necessary operation.
4.2 Reach in from the top
• Remove the front cover.
• Reach in, and perform the necessary operation.
