powertheunitup,besuretoCLOSE ALL TRIGGERZONES and besureSHOCK SENSOR
ISNOTACTIVE.WAITATLEAST30 SECONDSFORTHECM3000/3001 TOREAD
TRIGGERZONEPOLARITIES BEFORETESTINGTHESYSTEM.If anytriggerzonesare
open when itreadsthem,theywill operateinthe oppositeway.EXAMPLE:If the unitis
installed on avehiclewithnegativedoortriggersand the systemlearnsthe doorzone witha
dooropen,itwill actlikeapositivedoortriggersystemand alertthe pageron doorclosing
instead ofdooropening.ThisappliestotriggerZones:Door,Trunk,and Ignition On.

If you areinstalling CarMonitorbyitself[no hostalarm]withan AftermarketGrounding pin
switchforthe BLUEtrunkwireinputorthe BROWNhood wireinput, you mustadd a10Kpull-
up resistortoa+12-Voltlead.Thiswill allowthe CarMonitortosee 12 Voltson the triggerwire
when closed sothe polaritywill be Negativeforthatzone.See diagrambelow.
