Active Arming/ Locking:
Press and releasebutton #1(Locksymbol)onthetransmitter.The systemwillarmand confirmwithonesiren
chirp, one lightflash,andtheLEDwill begintoflash. Powerlockswill lock(if equipped).Starterdisablecircuit
will turnon. Afterashortdelaytoallowthe vehicleandelectronicstosettle,thesystemiscompletelyarmed.
Disarming:/ Unlocking
Press andreleasebutton#2(Unlocksymbol)on thetransmitter.Systemwill disarmandconfirmwithtwo
siren chirps,twolightflashes,andtheLEDwill turnoff. Powerlockswill Unlockand Interior Domelightwill
turnon(ifinstalledwiththeseoptionalfeatures)
Disarming WhileTripped(Triggered):
DisarmingtheSystemwhileitistriggeringrequiresTWOpressesofthe#2UnlockButton.Thefirstpressof
Button#2Resetsthealarmcycleonly(systemstill armed) whileasecond presswilldisarm/unlockthesystem.
SilentArming/Disarming(Ondemand):
ToArmor Disarmthe systemwithoutsiren chirps,pressandreleasebothButtons#2(Unlock)and #4(Start)
atthesametime.Systemwill ArmorDisarmwithoutsirenchirpsthatone time.Flashing lightsandLEDwill
be theonlyindicatorsofArm/Disarmstatus.Ifthe systemwastrippedwhileyouwere away,4chirpswill be
heard tonotifyyouthatthesystemwastripped.
SilentArming/Disarming(ChirpDefeat):
Thissystemcanbeprogrammed tosilentarmanddisarmusingthenormallockand unlockbuttons.Flashing
lightsand LEDwillbetheonlyindicatorsofarmedordisarmstatus.Checkwithyourinstallerorfollow
programming optioninstructionsintheinstallationmanual.
RemotePanicProtection
Tosoundthealarminanemergencysituationortodrawattention toyourvehicle,pressand holdButton#1
(Lock)forat least 3secondsuntil the sirensounds. Press Button #2 (Unlock)toresetpanicmode.
Driver’sPriority/ SplitUnlock (Optional)
When usingtheoptionalseparatedriver’sandpassengerunlockfunction,pressandreleasebutton#2
(Unlocksymbol)onthetransmitter tounlockdriver’sdoor only,thenpressthe #2buttonagainwithin2-4
secondstounlockremaining doors.Thisfeatureisoptionaland requiresadditionalpartsand/orlabor.
Arming WithShockSensorBypass
Toarmthe alarmandbypassshocksensor protection,pressButton #1asnormalthen press andrelease
Button#1 and#2 together within2seconds.You will hear3extrasirenchirpsindicating shocksensor bypass
for thisarmingcycleonly.

Alarm Triggering
Anintrusionintothevehicleorhardimpacttothebodywill soundthealarm andflashthelightsfor20Sec.
After 20 Sec.the triggercyclewill automaticallystopand alarmwillremainarmed tocontinueprotecting the
vehicle.Ifadoorisleftopenafteranintrusionthentheunit will cycleamaximumof2minutesandcontinueto
protecttheotherun-tamperedorunopenedzones.
PriorintrusionAlert
Thissystemwill notifyyouifthealarmwastrippedwhileyou whereaway.Upondisarming,thetwonormal
disarmchirpswill beheardthenthesystemwill emit4additionalsirenchirps.Checkyourvehicleforany
signsofabreakinortampering.Alsosee LEDDiagnosticsSection todetermine the causeof the trigger.
OpenZoneAlert/ Bypass
Upon arming,thissystemwill warn youifadoorisleft open.After a60 second setupdelay(for extended
domelights)haselapsed,ifthe system detectsafaultoradoor left open,the sirenwill chirp5timesalong
with5light flashes. Thiszone will beautomaticallybypassedandthealarmwill protectall other zones.
Pre-WarningShock Protection
The Pre-warning(warn-away)featurewill activatewhen alow-levelshock or vibration detectedbythe
system’sshocksensor.The alarmwill chirp the siren 5timesandflashthelightsoncetohelpdeterany
furthertampering withthevehicle.
Passive ArmingMode:(Programmable)
Passive(automatic)arming occurs30 secondsafter the ignition isturnedoff and the lastdoor isclosed.Upon
closingthe lastdoor,theunitwill flashthe lightstwiceand LEDwill be flashing rapidlytoconfirmpassive
countdown.If adoor isreopenedwithinthe30secondperiod,the countdownstop andbeginagainwhenthe
doorisclosed. Passivearming providesfailsafeprotectionincaseyouforgettoarmthesystem.
Passive Locking:(Programmable)
The CS-2012DP-TW1systemcanbe programmedtopassivelylockthedoorswhenthesystempassively
arms. Thedefault setting isOFF becausepassivelocking increasestheriskof lockingthekeysinthevehicle.
Trunk/HatchPop(Optional, Remote AUX.Output1)
Thisfeatureisdesigned tointerfacewithexisting Factorypower trunkor power hatchreleasesystemsand
mayrequire additionalpartsand/or labor charges. Press andreleaseButton #3 (Trunk)on thetransmitter to
pop/open thetrunk/hatch. Ifthesystem isarmed, itwill alsodisarmwhen the button#3ispressed.

Remote AUX. Output 2 (Optional)
Thissystem containsasecondauxiliary output to activate other accessories or devices. To activate Output2,press
andholdButton2&3. Thisisamomentary outputthat will stay active as longastheremote buttonishelddown.
Remote output#2 requires programmingbefore operation.Check withyourinstaller or follow programmingoption
instructions inthe installationmanual.
Remote AUX. Output 3 and 4 (Optional)
Thissystem containsa3rd &4th auxiliary outputto activate other acc or devices. To activate Output3press button1&4
andrelease for Output 4 press andrelease button3&4. These outputscanbe program for Momentary, Latchor Timed.
Check withyour installer or follow programming optioninstructions intheinstallationmanual.
DomeLight Illumination (Optional)
Thisfeature willturnonthevehicle’s domelightupondisarmingfor 30 seconds or until thekey isinserted andturned
on. This willprovide illuminated entry to your vehicleindimly lit areas for safety andsecurity.
EmergencyOverride (Disarm)
If youhave lost thetransmitter or itstops workingfor anyreasonandtheAlarm isarmed, youwillhave to disarm the
system manually. Openthe door withthekey [alarm willsound], turntheignitionon,and press the override/program
buttonfor about 5seconds. TheAlarm willdisarm andallow youto use the vehicleuntil youcanrepair/replace the
remote. Note youhave to putthe system into valet mode to prevent passive arming.
Valet Mode (Enter manuallyor using the remote)
To disableAlarm andRemote EngineStartingfor vehicleservicingor otherwise, turntheignitiononand press the
override/program button[about 5-7 seconds] until youhear (3) sirenchirps andthe LED turnsonsolid. Repeat the
process toexit VALET mode. To enter/ exit valet via theremote,press andhold both buttons#1 (Lock) andButton #2
(unlock) together forabout3seconds until3chirps are heard. Repeatthisstep toexitviatheremote transmitter.
Lock/Unlock andAUXfeatures willstilloperate wheninVALET mode howeverremote start andalarm functionsare
inhibited.
Valet Park Mode (Using the remote transmitter only)
Note: Valet Park mode is only accessiblewhenusing the remote transmitter. Valet park mode allows youto turnover
the vehicle to a valet allowing access to drive/lock/unlock your vehicle, but alarm willtrigger if the trunk is opened. To
activate Valet Park, press and hold bothbuttons #1 (Lock) and Button#2 (unlock) together for about3 seconds. 3
chirps willbe heard first whenunit goes into regular Valet. Release, press andhold bothbuttons againyouwillhear 2
more chirps. LED willflashslowly whenin Valet Park. Repeat step to exit Valet Park mode.

Optional M.A.P.(MobileAccessoriesProtection)
Thissystemcan beprogrammed toprovideCrimestopper’sunique M.A.P.(MobileAccessoriesProtection)
featurethatallowsyoutopreventunauthorizedaccess ofyour vehiclesAudio,Cellular,Navigation,or
Entertainmentsystems.ThisfeatureisOPTIONALandwill requiresextrapartsand labor for installation.
Consultyour installationdealeraboutMAP before or during installation.The CS2012TW1mustbe
programmed for MAP operation.When the systemisputintoValetParkmode,M.A.P.will preventstereo,
entertainment, navigation,or cellularsystemfrombeing used.BasicM.A.P.wiring information isprovided in
the installationmanual.
LEDDIAGNOSTICS
The CS-2012DP-TW1systemincludesdisarmdiagnostics,throughtheREDLEDlight,thatwill helpin
determiningwhatcausedthe lasttrigger ofthe alarmsystem.Thisisavaluabletoolindetermininghowthe
vehiclewastampered withor ifthereisafalsealarmprobleminwhichcaseyou can makethe necessary
adjustmentstocorrecttheproblem.Whenthesystemisdisarmedwiththeremoteyou will hearthenormal2
chirps,then 4quickchirpsthatindicatethe alarmwastriggeredwhileyouwereaway.Checkthe LEDlightfor
asequenceofflashes:

Diagnosticswill resetwhen theIgnitionisturnedonorwhenthesystemisre-armed.

5)Enginewill remainrunningfor programmed run timeuntil resetwithBrakepedal.Ifneeded,theenginecan
be turnedoffwithremotetransmitter.

Inthe eventthatthe enginedoesnotstartonthe firstattempt, thesystemshutsdownforafewseconds,then
attemptstorestarttheenginea2nd and3rd time.For hard starting engines,the unitwill allowastarter crank
timeofup to10secondsmaximum.Thisshouldprovide amplecranking timefor difficultstarts,butislimited to
10 secondstohelppreventdamagetothe starterfromover cranking.
1)Ifenginestartson2nd or 3rd attempt, seesteps4&5(last page) of "SuccessfulStart".
2)IfThirdattemptfailstostartengine,thesystemwill turnoff and doorswill remainlocked.NOFURTHER

4)Remotestarter will resetinstantlywhenthe brakeispressed.Parking lightswill turn off and theignition key
isnowcontrollingyour vehicle.
IDLEDOWNMODE(TAKE-OVEROPERATION)
Thismode allowsthe unittotakeover operationofyour idling,parked vehiclewhiletheignition keyis
removedandyouexitthe vehicle. Thevehicleisputintoaremoterunningconditionbeforeyouexitanditwill
remainrunningfor the programmed run time,until you return,or until theremotestartbutton ispressed.
Examples:
You pull up toaconveniencestoreforacoffee,"IdleDown" mode keepsengine running when you exitthe vehicle,(withkeys in
hand)remotelock/arm alarm.Whenyou return, unlock/disarm alarm, turnignition ONand driveaway.
IDLEDOWNMODE-EXITINGTHEVEHICLE:
1)Withengine running,press andreleasethe Start button.Sirenwill chirp3timesforconfirmation.
2)Parking Lightswill turnON.

Thismode allowsthevehicle’sengine toremainrunning INDEFINITELY. Thismode canbebeneficialtolaw
enforcementvehiclesor commercialvehiclesthat needtoremainrunningunattendedforlong periodsoftime.
INFINITYRUNMODE–EXITINGTHEVEHICLE:
1)Followstepson thelastpage for“IDLEDOWNMODE-EXITINGTHEVEHICLE”,exceptpress the remote
startbuttonTWO timesat STEP #1.
2)Parking Lightswill startflashinginsteadof coming on solid, and doorswillunlock.
3)Turn Ignition switchOFF,removekeyand exit the vehicle. Engineshouldremainrunning.
4)The vehicle’sparkinglightswillflashforthe programmed runtime of12,24,or36,or48minutesand then

Thisconfigurationwill enablethe vehicleowner toactivateaCarjackcountdownbypressing ahidden
push-button (notincludedwithkit)during aCarjacksituation.ACarjackcountdownwill beginunder the
following conditions:Ignition isON(vehicleisrunning),the push-buttonispressed,and the door
opens/closes. Uponthese3events, inthatorder,thealarmwill start aCarjackcountdown. Afteradelayof
one minute,the systemwill beginchirping for20 secondsthentriggerintoafull cycleforup to5minutes.
ToresetthisCarjackmode,Ignition mustbe ONthenpress andholdtheoverride/valetbuttonfor 5
seconds(until LEDgoesout.)
FULL-TIME[Permanent] CARJACKWITHIGNITIONON:
