Use/area of application
This item has a hard metal tip for hiking in open
country, on ice, or on other smooth surfaces. The
item can be used on various surfaces. The item is
only intended to be used as trekking poles for hiking
in rough terrain or on roads and is intended for
private use only.

Safety information
• Do not make any repairs that could endanger
your safety!
• The use of a heart rate monitor is recommended.
• If you are aware that you have cardiovascular
problems, you should consult a doctor before
doing this type of sport.
• Use athletic shoes with a good tread and lateral
support.
• Avoid doing sports in the dark or, at dusk use
reflectors that are worn on the body.
• Check to make sure the trekking poles are
screwed together tightly before each use.
• Check for damage to the item before each use.

• If you see a crack in the pole segments or realize
the item isn’t working perfectly, don’t use it any-
more and dispose of the pole.
• If possible, avoid public roads to reduce the risk of
accidents.
• This item is not suitable for alpine skiing.
• Do not use any oil, as oil can negatively affect the
holding power of the adjustment mechanism.
• Please note that the tips of the trekking poles can
damage floors.
• Do not sit on the item, as it could break.
• Sharp items are always hazardous for children!
• The item is intended for private use only. There is
no guarantee for professional use.
• Check the locking system regularly even during
use. Make sure to adjust the tension force of the
lock so that no parts of the pole can shift out of
place any more.
• Do not use the item as a walking aid.
Pole length – determining the
correct measurement
The item can be adjusted to eight different lengths.
To make it easier, you will find the sizes in the table.

BOpen both clamping levers
on the quick releases and
pull the lower end of the
pole to the right length.
Then close the clamping
levers again.
Important: Do not extend
the shaft segments beyond
the “STOP MAX” marks on
the shaft segments. Sufficient
stability cannot be guaran-
teed otherwise.
If the clamping force of the quick release is no
longer sufficient, tighten the nut on the opposite side
of the clamping lever.
• Walking on level ground
(Figs. C/D)
Set the pole length so that your upper and lower
arms form a 90° angle. Make sure both poles are
adjusted to the same length. An indication of the
pole length can be found on the middle and bottom
pole segments. If you want to adjust the pole length
to 120cm, set the middle and bottom pole segments
so that the 120cm marking is just visible from under-
neath the top pole segment.

• Traversing on an incline (Fig. E)
For this, the upper pole must be shortened and the
lower pole must be lengthened so that both provide
support.

• Ascending/descending (Figs. F/G)
When going uphill, the poles must be shortened so
that they are a comfortable support. When going
downhill, the poles must be lengthened far enough
that you can maintain a comfortable, upright posture
when resting on them.

Adjusting the wrist strap
(Figs. I–L)
The size of the hand strap can be adjusted using the
push button. Push the button on the strap adjustment
system with your thumb to open the locking device
(Fig. I).
The strap will be released, and you can adjust the
length of the individual straps. Pull on the free lower
end of the strap to make the strap smaller. Pull in
the opposite direction if you want to make the strap
larger (Fig. J).
Then secure the strap again by holding the pole with
one hand and pulling on the top of the strap to snap
the push button into place (Fig. K).
Adjust the size of the strap so that it doesn’t cut into
your hand when you grasp the handle (Fig. L).

Useful tips
• Wear gloves in cold weather.
• Make sure you have enough water (a water belt
or water pack for instance) for longer hikes.
• Wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
Combo holder for the asphalt
pad & plate
You can keep the asphalt pad and the trekking pole
plate in the combo holder. Use the asphalt pad on
rocky and hard surfaces.
Use the trekking pole plate on soft surfaces to keep
the trekking poles from sinking in.
Put the asphalt pad on the hollow-ground tip, and re-
move it when you do not require it. Turn the trekking
pole basket onto the thread in the lower shaft seg-
ment. Please make sure that the jagged edges of the
basket are pointing towards the ground. To remove
the basket, turn it in the opposite direction.
You can also remove the combo holder. Pull the red
rubber ring out of the groove on the holder by its
strap. The holder can then be pulled off of the pole.
To reattach the combo holder to the pole, slide the
rubber ring onto the pole first and put it into the
groove on the combo holder again.
If you aren’t using the asphalt pads or the trekking
pole plates for your current hike, you can clip or
insert them into the plate switching system device.
Warming up and stretching
You should do extensive warm-up and stretching
exercises before hiking (see Figs. M–P).

Pull your foot towards your buttocks.

Press your rear heel to the floor and lean forwards
at the same time.

Raise your heels briefly a few times and lower
them again.

Cleaning and care
Use a cloth soaked with lukewarm or soapy water to
clean the item. Never clean the item with solvents or
harsh cleaning agents. These can abrade the plastic
materials and markings and damage them over time.
Storage and transport
Do not permanently expose the item to direct sun-
light or excessive heat, as these may cause cracking
or deterioration of the item, shortening its lifespan
and significantly affecting its usefulness.
Always store the item in a dry place. To prevent
corrosion, dry wet poles with a cloth before pushing
them together. Always telescope the item when car-
rying it and place the protective cap on the hollow
tips to avoid possible injuries to yourself or others.

Disposal
Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in
accordance with current local regulations.
Packaging materials such as foil bags are not
suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging
materials out of the reach of children.
Notes on the guarantee and
service handling
The product was produced with great care and
under constant supervision. You receive a three-year
warranty for this product from the date of purchase.
Please retain your receipt.
The warranty applies only to material and workman-
ship and does not apply to misuse or improper hand-
ling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty
rights, are not affected by this warranty. With regard
to complaints, please contact the following service
hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service emplo-
yees will advise as to the subsequent procedure as
quickly as possible. We will be personally available
to discuss the situation with you.
Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guarantees
or through goodwill do not extend the warranty peri-
od. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.

BAvaa kummankin pikalukon
kiristysvipu ja vedä sauvan
alaosa sopivan mittaiseksi.
Sulje sitten kiristysvipu.
Tärkeää: Älä vedä sauvan
osia ulos niiden ”STOP
MAX” -merkinnän yli. Muu-
ten riittävää tukevuutta ei
voida taata.
Jos pikalukon kiristysvivun
pitovoima ei ole enää riittä-
vä, kiristä mutteria, joka on
kiristysvipua vastapäätä.
• Kulku tasaisella pinnalla
(kuva C/D)
Säädä sauvan pituus sellaiseksi, että olkavarren ja
kyynärvarren kulma on 90°. Varmista, että kumpikin
sauva on yhtä pitkä. Pituusmerkinnät ovat sauvan
keski- ja alaosassa. Jos haluat asettaa sauvan
pituudeksi 120 cm, säädä sauvan keski- ja alaosa
siten, että 120 cm merkintä on juuri näkyvillä sauvan
ylemmässä osassa.

Tällöin ylärinteen puoleista sauvaa on lyhennettävä
ja alarinteen puoleista pidennettävä siten, että kum-
pikin sauvaa antaa samanlaisen tuen.

Ylämäessä sauvoja on lyhennettävä siten, niiden
antama tuki on sopiva. Alamäessä sauvoja on
pidennettävä siten, että niihin tukeuduttaessa asento
on mukava ja vartalo on suorassa.

HPujota käsi lenkistä
siten, että hihna kulkee
kämmenselän kautta.
Tartu sitten kiinni
kahvaan.
Rannehihnan säätö (kuvat I–L)
Rannehihnan pituutta voi säätää painikkeen avulla.
Avaa lukitsin painamalla peukalolla hihnansäätimen
painiketta (kuva I).
Hihna liikkuu nyt vapaasti, ja voit säätää sen pituu-
den sopivaksi.

Vedä hihnan päästä, jos haluat pienentää lenkkiä.
Vedä lenkistä, jos haluat suurentaa lenkkiä (kuva J).
Lukitse hihna pitämällä toisella kädellä sauvaa pai-
koillaan ja vetämällä toisella kädellä hihnan yläosas-
ta, kunnes painike loksahtaa paikoilleen (kuva K).
Säädä hihna siten, ettei se kiristä, kun tartut kahvasta
(kuva L).

Käyttösuosituksia
• Käytä kylmällä säällä käsineitä.
• Huolehdi siitä, että pitkillä matkoilla mukanasi on
riittävästi juotavaa (esim. juomavyössä tai juoma-
repussa).
• Pukeudu sään mukaisesti.
Asfalttitassun ja somman pidike
Pidikkeessä voi säilyttää asfalttitassua ja sompaa.
Asfalttitassua käytetään kivikkoisilla ja kovilla alus-
toilla ja sompaa pehmeillä alustoilla, jotta sauva ei
uppoa maahan.
