GENERAL WARNINGS!
Please pay special attention to the following aspects when using the CYBEX 2.GO BABY CARRIER:
WARNING: YOUR BALANCE MAY BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY YOUR MOVEMENT AND THAT OF YOUR
CHILD.
WARNING: TAKE CARE WHEN BENDING OR LEANING FORWARD.
WARNING: THIS CARRIER IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE DURING SPORTING ACTIVITIES.
WARNING: PLEASE ASSURE THAT A SECOND PERSON SECURES THE BABY WHEN PUTTING ON THE
BABY CARRIER.
WARNING: PLEASE ASSURE THAT THE MALE PART OF THE BUCKLE
IS ALWAYS FED THROUGH THE ELASTIC SAFETY LOOP BEFORE CLOSING THE BUCKLE. THE MALE
PART OF THE BUCKLE MUST BE COMPLETELY HOOKED INTO THE ELASTIC SAFETY LOOP.
WARNING: ALWAYS USE THE LEG SAFETY LOOPS FOR CHILDREN FROM 3,5-7 KG TO AVOID THE
DANGER OF SMALL CHILDREN FALLING THROUGH THE LEG OPENING.
 Make sure you read and fully understand the instructions before using the BABY CARRIER.
 
 The BABY CARRIER is for adult use only. A damaged BABY CARRIER may NOT be used!
 
functional condition; if this is not the case, or in case of doubt, do NOT use the carrier.

GENERAL INFORMATION
I. Spread-squat position:
children will already sit comfortably in the required “spread-squat position” without any adjustments to the seat


of movement.
IMPORTANT! IT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAT THE CHILD IS SITTING IN A SQUATTING POSITION RATHER
THAN A SPREADING POSITION.
II. Height adjustment: The waist belt has the function of a height adjustment system. (a) To carry smaller
children, the belt should be placed around the waist, allowing the child to sit at a higher position. (b) For larger
children the belt should be placed around the hips. The optimum sitting position is reached when the carrying


V. The bib: The bib can be removed and regularly washed. Please follow the washing instructions.
The Headrest can be used in 3 different ways

FORWARD CARRYING
1. Position the waist belt around your waist/hips, close the buckle and adjust the length until it sits tightly. Please
assure that the male part of the buckle is always fed through the elastic safety loop before closing the buckle.
2. (a) Now lift your baby up to your chest and place it into the carrier. Bend the legs of your baby in such a
manner, that it is comfortable for your child and then wrap the carrier around the baby’s back. (b) Please make
sure that the safety loops are closed if the child weighs under 7 kg.
3. (a) Put your arms through the shoulder straps and (b) fasten the straps together with the sternum strap behind
your back.
4. Now lead the arms of your baby through the arm openings, if necessary open the buckles of the headrest on
both sides.
FORWARD FACING SITTING POSITION
DUE TO POSSIBLE OVERSTIMULATION, WE ONLY RECOMMEND THE FORWARD CARRY ING POSITION
FOR CHILDREN SIX MONTHS AND OLDER. FOR LONGER DISTANCES WE RECOMMEND TO CARRY
YOUR CHILD IN THE FORWARD OR THE BACK CARRY ING POSITION.

BACK CARRYING POSITION
This carrying position should only be used when your baby is able to safely hold its own head. Fold the
headrest away towards the inner side of the carrier (see point VIII b).

and adjust the length until it sits tightly. Please assure that the male part of the buckle is always fed through the

HENCE DO NOT FASTEN THE SHOULDER STRAPS TOO TIGHTLY.
HIP CARRYING POSITION
9. Place the waist belt around your hip/waist in a lateral position. Close the buckle and adjust the width
accordingly so that the belt sits tight. Please assure that the male part of the buckle is always fed through the
elastic safety loop before closing the buckle. Follow points 2-4 listed above.
NOTE! IN THIS POSITION THE TWO SHOULDER STRAPS VARY IN LENGTH. THE ONE THAT WILL RUN
ACROSS THE BACK IS THE SHORTER ONE.
While carrying your baby on the hip you also can use the headrest in the 3 different positions. (See
page 8)
WARRANTY
The following warranty applies solely in the country where this product was initially sold by a retailer to a

purchase or appearing within a term of two (2) years from the date of purchase from the retailer who initially sold
the product to a consumer (manufacturer’s warranty). In the event that a manufacturing or material defect should
appear, we will – at our own discretion – either repair the product free of charge or replace it with a new product.
To obtain such warranty it is required to take or ship the product to the retailer, who initially sold this product to a
customer and to submit an original proof of purchase (sales receipt or invoice) that contains the date of purchase,
the name of the retailer and the type designation of this product. This warranty shall not apply in the event that
this product is taken or shipped to the manufacturer or any other person other than the retailer who initially sold
this product to a consumer. Please check the product with respect to completeness and manufacturing or material
defects immediately at the date of purchase or, in the event that the product was purchased in distance selling,
immediately after receipt. In case of a defect stop using the product and take or ship it immediately to the retailer
who initially sold it. In a warranty case the product has to be returned in a clean and complete condition. Prior to
contacting the retailer, please read this instruction manual carefully. This warranty does not cover any damages

solely apply in the event that the use of the product was always in compliance with the operating instructions, if


including claims in tort and claims with respect to a breach of contract, which the buyer may have against the
seller or the manufacturer of the product.
