1. General Information
1.1 Precautions before use
Thank you for purchasing Refrigerated Heating External Circulators.
This manual describes the performance, usage and handling precautions of your product. Please read this
manual carefully before use. The following warnings are required for areas where the user's attention is
absolutely necessary. Please understand the meaning and use it safely when you use it.

1. General Information
1.2 Product introduction
This product uses the external circulation system connected to the main body, circulating the
heating medium to the external equipment and providing a constant temperature, so that it can
be used in various laboratory experiments. It has been developed and manufactured with
maximum consideration for convenience and safety. It has the following features.
1. Built-in powerful circulation pump. It is connected with external equipment and is excellent in
cooling and maintaining temperature.
2. When the solution in the tank is short, the operation stops automatically to protect the product
and sample.
3. Situation-based freezer control prevents the compressor from malfunctioning, does not waste
power, and extends the stability and life of the product.
4. It is equipped with overheat safety device, overcurrent and leakage prevention circuit that takes
the user's safety first.
5. With the timer function, it can be set up to 99 hours and 59 minutes to provide various
experiment environments for the user.
6. All models are equipped with easy-to-move Caster to provide convenience to users.
7. This product can be compensated for in case of unreasonable accident by product liability
insurance (PL insurance). (insured 100 million won for each person and object)

2. Installation
2.1 Product installation
* Installation Precautions
1. The product is heavy, so be careful when transporting it.
2. Do not lay the product down or subject it to impact. Damage to the inside may occur.
3. Install the product on a hard and flat surface and use it in a stable place.
4. When installing the product, install it horizontally without tilting left or right.
5. Do not install in a place with heat source or direct sunlight.
6. Do not install in a place subject to high humidity or water leakage.
7. Since this product is designed to operate at rated voltage, check the voltage before installing
the product.
8. When installing and using the product, be sure to use the power cord supplied with the product.
9. The main power of the product should be connected separately from the power of
the computer equipment.
-It is prohibited to use the connection with precision equipment because the
voltage fluctuation caused by stopping and operation of the freezer may affect

the computer equipment.
10. Do not install the product in an environment where there is a possibility of flammable gas
leakage or explosion due to organic vapor.
11. Do not place a tool that generates magnets or magnetism near the machine. Using the
instrument in a location close to a strong electromagnetic field source may cause errors due to
magnetic fields.
12. The power supply must have sufficient warm-up time before starting operation of
the unit. (More than 6 hours in winter, more than 2 hours in summer) This time is
the time required to preheat the compressor to separate the refrigerant and
lubricant to prevent OIL Forming when the refrigerator is started.
13. Be sure to use a circulating fluid (heating medium) that meets the operating temperature range.
14. Please be sure to use the circulating fluid (heating medium) only by filling the specified capacity.
15. Fill the circulating fluid (heating medium) and operate it. Failure to do so may cause pump
failure.
16. In order to improve the quality, we are carrying out the performance test of the product in full
force. As a result, some of the circulating fluid (heating medium) may remain inside the
product.
* Installation sequence and method
1. Secure the product to the specified location and remove the packaging.
2. Make sure there is no damage to the product during shipment. If any damage is found, please
contact the Daihan Scientific Service Center.
3. This product should be installed with sufficient space around the product for ventilation and fire
prevention. Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm from the rear wall and a minimum distance
of 100 cm from the side wall and ceiling.
4. Install the product on a level surface device that is free of vibration and can withstand the
weight of the product.
5. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
6. When installing the unit, make sure that the wall outlet is easily accessible.
7. Do not ground to gas pipes, plastic tap water pipes or telephone lines. It may cause electric
shock, fire, breakdown or explosion of the device.

3. How to use
3.1 Precautions in use
Be sure to read the user manual before using this product and familiarize yourself
with the manuals of the laboratories and prohibit them from being used other
than authorized personnel.
Be sure to use the proper power source that is normally used for this product. Be
sure to use it only under the allowable specified load.
Never tilt or lay down the product during transport
Install in a place where the floor is hard and flat. Failure to do so may result in
accidents.
lWarning
- Be sure to observe the following points.
Be sure to operate indoors, and keep the temperature between 18℃and 24℃
for uniform product performance.
Do not cut, bend, twist, pull or tie the power cord. Also, if you place a heavy
object on it or squeeze it in, it will damage the power cord and cause fire or
electric shock.
Do not spray water directly on the product or wash it with water. Short-circuiting
may cause electric shock.
Be sure to use a circulating fluid that meets the operating temperature range.
Please be careful not to let foreign substances into the auxiliary tank. It may
cause a failure in the circulation pump.
Do not touch or operate electrical components such as power plugs with wet
hands. It may cause electric shock.
Do not operate or stop by plugging or unplugging the power plug. It may cause
electric shock or short circuit.
Wear safety protective equipment and wipe off any toxic chemicals or dangerous
gases that can harm human skin when those are spilled over the human skin

Do not operate after putting explosive or flammable chemicals (alcohol, benzene
and other flammable solvents) inside.
Do not install near equipment that generates strong high-frequency noise (high-
frequency welding machine, high-frequency sewing machine, large-capacity SCR
controller)
Do not install the product where there is a lot of moisture and dust.
It may cause overheating or short circuit. (Pollution Degree 2)
Do not install at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters. (6,562 feet)
Do not operate the product near a heater or air conditioner.
Do not use in areas where sunlight is constantly lit or where it may be exposed to
rain. This can cause the product to overheat or become electrically defective.
(Outdoors use prohibited)
Please check the safety device before operating the product.
If unexpected sound, smell or smog occurs, disconnect the mains plug from the
wall outlet and contact the Daihan Scientific Service center.
Does not use flammable spray or volatile, flammable chemicals such as lacquers,
paints, and the like near the product. The flame of the switch may cause fire.
Be sure to use a grounded outlet.
Do not ground in gas pipes, plastic water pipes, telephone lines, etc.
It may cause electric shock, fire, breakdown or explosion of the device.
Do not disassemble or modify the product by unauthorized persons. It can cause
serious electrical problems and cannot be qualified for warranty by Daihan
Scientific.
Regularly check the power plug for dust and ensure that the plug is fully
connected. Dust or incomplete connection may cause electric shock or fire.
If you are not going to use it for a long time, please disconnect the power plug
from the outlet for safety. Dust can cause heat and ignition.
Be sure to hold the plug when disconnecting the power plug. If you disconnect by
holding the cord only, the inside of the cord may be cut off, causing heat or
ignition.

If you notice signs of abnormal noise or abnormal operation during normal use,
immediately turn off the product and disconnect the power cord, and contact the
technical support team at Daihan Scientific
When moving the product, remove the power plug from the outlet and move it so
that there is no damage to the power cord or the product. Damaged cord may
cause electric shock or fire.
Fully insert the plug into an appropriate outlet.
Loose connections can cause excessive heat and cause arcing.
Before and after using the product, check for foreign objects, Clean it gently with
a mild detergent and a dry cloth to remove any foreign matter and keep it clean.
The mains voltage fluctuation must be less than +/- 10% of nominal voltage.
If the product is stored or transported in a humid environment, check the
packaging before use. If the box or crate is submerged, contact the technical
support team at Daihan Scientific. Do not operate the device before checking with
the engineer. It may cause electric shock or fire.
When an error occurs, the sound level of the buzzer is 60dB at a distance of 1m.
Install the product in a well-ventilated area. Do not block the ventilation holes on
the side or rear of the product by walls or objects. This may cause fire or
malfunction.

3. How to use product
3.3 How to use
* Jog-Dial Operation
-Jog-Dial can operate the setting in each mode by turning and pushing operation.
-Turn the Jog-Dial knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the set value. Press and hold
the PUSH button once to start and stop operation.
-Turning of Jog-Dial knob does not work during operation. To reset the set value, press and hold
the PUSH button once to stop the product and adjust the value with the Jog-Dial knob.
①Temperature setting
- Initial screen when power ON is temperature and timer setting mode.
※SV: SET VALUE / PV: PRESENT VALUE
-. In Set Operation mode, Temp SV on the LCD and upper Timer LED blink in green to
indicate standby status. Turn the Knob switch to set the temp SV value to the desired
temperature and press the Knob switch for more than 1 second to start the operation. At
this time, if the timer is not set, the upper timer LED turns green and blinks.
When the product starts to operate, the upper heat LED, REF LED, and PUMP LED lights
up each time the heater, freezer and pump operate. The circulation pump is set to
operate simultaneously with the operation of the product.
-. When the operation of the product starts, the current temperature and remaining time of
the timer and the text message, "Running ...." alternate to indicate that the product is
operating.

to set the desired time, then press and hold the knob switch for more than 1 second, the
product and the timer start to operate. If the timer is set, the upper timer LED lights up
green to indicate the timer operation status.

③ Set up heater, pump and freezer individual operation
-. This product can be set to operate the operation of heater, freezer and pump
individually.
※Reference
This product is designed to stop the operation of the heater when the pump stops to
prevent the product from malfunctioning.
In other words, the heater does not operate even when heater ON or PUMP OFF is set.
-. In Set Operation mode, press Mode button to go to Pump/Comp operation setting

-. It blinks ON at "HEATER: ON" on the LCD to indicate the setting standby screen.
Turn the knob switch to "HEATER: OFF" and press the knob switch for more than 1 second to save the
setting and the heater will not operate.
Press the knob switch briefly once in the HEATER setting mode of the HEATER/Pump/Comp operation setting screen,
then the ON character of "PUMP: ON" flashes, and enters the pump operation setting standby mode.
Turn the knob switch to "PUMP: OFF" and press the knob switch for more than 1 second to save the setting and the
pump will not operate.
Press the knob switch once briefly in the PUMP setting standby state of the HEATER/Pump/Comp operation setting
screen , then he ON character of "COMP: ON" flashes and enters the pump operation setting standby mode.
Turn the knob switch to "COMP: OFF", then press and hold the knob switch for more than 1 second to save the setting
and the freezer will not operate.

④Temperature correction
-. This product can correct the error between measured room temperature value and the temperature detected by a
sensor of the product
-. If you press the SUB button in Set Operation mode, you can enter the temperature correction screen.
-. When the temperature correction setting screen is entered, the Offset button flashes to indicate the setting standby
status. In the standby mode, turn the knob switch to set the correction value to the difference between the actual
temperature and the measured value of the temperature sensor, and then press and hold the knob switch to save
the corrected value.
⑤ Injecting circulation liquid (Heating medium)
-. Press the handle firmly circulating fluid inlet cover to open the circulating fluid inlet cover.
-. Open the inlet cap by opening it, and check the level gauge on the front of the product and fill up with an
appropriate amount of circulating fluid
-. Be sure to operate the product with an adequate amount of circulating fluid (heating medium) inside the product
-. When injecting the circulating fluid (heating medium), please make sure that the circulating fluid (heating medium)
is sufficiently drawn out through the discharge valve so that air does not get into the circulating engine.

4. How to manage product
4.1 Maintenance and management
Refrigerated Heating External Circulator is designed to take into account various situations
that may arise during operation. However, in order to ensure stable performance for a long
period of time, please observe the followings.
1. Operate in an environment free from moisture and keep the room temperature at 18 °C ~
24 °C.
2. Unplug the power plug when it will not be used for a long time, dry it, and pack it.
3. If you need to replace parts due to trouble during use, you should use only genuine parts
provided by us.
4. Failure due to usage beyond normal limits cannot be maintained.
5. Use only the specified power source.
6. Do not touch the power plug and electrical devices with wet hands.
7. When cleaning the product, remove the power plug, wipe it with a soft towel, and wipe only the
dirt that won’t be easily removed with a low-freezing solvent in a towel
8. If the liquid temperature inside is high, cool it sufficiently before discharging it through the drain
valve.
9. If you are exposed to poisonous chemicals or toxic gases, wear chemical resistant gloves and
mask, then wipe gently with a dry cloth to remove.
10. After immersing the accessory in a neutral detergent, thoroughly rinse it with distilled water and
dry thoroughly.
11. When cleaning the product, do not pour water directly on the regulator or the top of the
product or place any liquid on it. It may cause fire.
12. Check if restarting after prolonged stop
1) Check whether there is any foreign substance in the inside of the product or not, check
smooth rotation and operation state when rotating the circulating pump
2) Check the electrical parts for power, insulation, loosening of the instrument, operating
conditions, tightening of the wire terminals, and breakage of the heater.
3) Check the operating switch indicator light
4) Make sure that there is no foreign substance in the auxiliary tank.

4.2 Measures to take in case of abnormality

The temperature rises but not
operating at set values
1. There may be an error in the built-in sensor or main
control unit. There is. Please contact the service center.
If the temperature does not drop
at room temperature
1. Check the settings of the thermostat.
2. Make sure that there is direct sunlight shining on or
high temperature material nearby.
3. Make sure that the ventilation around the unit is ok.
If the temperature does not drop even if there is no
abnormality described above, please ask for A/S.
