1. General

Thank you for purchasing the Digital Rotary Evaporator.
This manual describes the performance and usage instructions of the product, and the
precautions in the handling. Please carefully read this manual, before using the
product. The following warnings should be strictly adhered to: (The following warning
sign is marked in the part that is required user attention, so please safely use the
product after being well-acquainted with the meaning.)

1. General
1.2 Product introduction
This product is convenient to use because the operation method is simple as the basic
distillation equipment which can be used for the separation or concentration of solvent.
In addition, because this product has high thermal conductivity and excellent chemical
resistance, it is convenient to use in various experimental conditions.
1. Because it is equipped with the solid machine body and the essential function necessary to
distillation, it can be easily distilled.
2. The airtight structure is formed due to mounting of sealing system, and a long life of this
product is maintained.
3. A Vacuum sealing consists of PTFE synthetic material and provides an effective sealing force.
4. For fast and safe distillation, the height of Flask can be simply manually adjusted.
5. Durability and chemical resistance of this product are excellent, and even if it is rotated at
high speed during operating, it is possible to use for long-term.
6. Stable recovery due to superior cooling effect is possible.
7. At time of a power outage during using, the rotation of this product is automatically stopped
to protect the experimental samples and the user.
8. The effect of experiment is increased by adjusting the tilt of the part that Rotary and
Condenser are connected.
9. Because Rotary Main Body and Water Bath can be separated, the experimenter’s use width
is wide.
10. Because the separation and mounting of this product are simple, its cleaning is easy.
11. Because the temperature of bath can be set up to 99 , various setting according to the ℃
purpose of the experiment is possible.
12. The rotation speed can be adjusted up to 180rpm, and the reduction and acceleration of
speed depending on the purpose of use is possible.

2. Installation
2.1 Product Installation
 Product Installation
1. Please do not lay the product on the floor or subject it to shock. It can cause damage inside
the product.
2. Please install the product in a hard, flat, and stable place.
3. Please do not install the product in a place where it is exposed to direct sunlight, or in the
dangerous places.
4. To minimize the risk of short circuits, do not install the product (in the) places where it will
be subjected to the inflow of moisture or organic solvents on the regulator part or inside of
the body.
5. This product was manufactured for normal operation at a rated voltage, so please check the
voltage status before installing the product.
6. When installing and using the product, please certainly use the power cord provided with
the products
7. Please be careful so that moisture, organic solvent, dust, corrosive and gas, etc. do not
enter into this product.
8. Please be careful for burns because the residual heat may be remained even if this product
is operating or the power was disconnected.

* Please proceed as described in this manual when assembling this product.
1. Insert the O-ring (9) of the parts for assembly into the Glass Rotation Axis (10). Insert
the O-ring into the smooth part of the glass tube, and install by sliding to the curved
portion. (Proceed as the direction of the arrow referring to the Figure.)
2. Insert the Glass Rotation Axis which O-ring is fitted, on the right side of the front on Main
Body. (Proceed as the direction of the arrow referring to the Figure.)
3. Assemble the fixed part and the ring part on Bottle Opener (11) of the assembly component
as shown in Figure. Install Bottle opener assembly on the right part of the Glass Rotation
Axis which is assembled on the main body In order to fix the axis of rotation when
mounting the Bottle opener, fix by inserting a driver into the hole in the axis of rotation of
the main body, and then please, insert it while turning the Bottle opener to the right.
(Proceed as the direction of the arrow referring to the Figure.)

4. Assemble the Bottle Opener, and then install the Glass Rotary Bottle (12) of assembly
components on the hook portion. Put down the Bottle after mounting so that the ring is
safely attached into the inlet of Rotary Bottle.
5. To install the Glass Condenser in the left side of Glass Rotation Axis, Bottle opener should
be safely fixed in the right side.
Insert the Main Vacuum Seal (8) of Assembly components in the left side of Glass Rotation
Axis which is mounted on Main Body. The Main Vacuum Seal should be mounted so that the
thin spring-loaded part is placed toward the Main body, and the part with two colors is
placed facing outward.
6. Insert by pushing the Deputy Vacuum Seal (7) of assembly components up to the portion
which a Main Vacuum Seal is mounted, after mounting a Main Vacuum Seal entirely up to
the inside. Insert Deputy Vacuum Seal in the direction that the adhered tightening part is
facing the outside as shown in Figure.

7. Assemble the connection portion to the Condenser, after installing the device being
equipped with a sealing.
Insert Condenser Locknut (5) into Glass Condenser (2) of assembly components so that the
assembled portion is facing the outside as shown in Figure.
8. Install the Circlip (6) of assembly components in the inside of Locknut, after mounting the
Locknut in the Condenser.
Gently pull the spring so that it is fitted in the entrance of Condenser.
9. After pulling the assembly components of the mounted Condenser to the inlet side of the
Condenser, assemble them in the left side of the front of Main Body. Install by assembling to
Main Body by turning the Condenser Locknut so that the entrance part of a previously
installed Deputy Vacuum Seal and the Condenser are in contact.
At this time, the Collecting portion of Condenser should be facing downward.

10. Connect the Glass Receiving Bottle (4) of assembly components with the Clamp (3) of
assembly components to the bottom of the Condenser as shown in Figure, after securely
mounting the Condenser.
11. Securely fix the connection portion of Condenser so that it is inserted into the Glass
Receiving Bottle. After holding the Bottle using a Clamp, tighten the captive screw of the
Clamp so that the Bottle is not shaken. If turning to move up the screw assembled below,
the part holding the Bottle is tightened while opening the handle part of the Clamp. When
replacing the Glass Receiving Bottle, replace the Bottle by loosening the combined adjusting
screw of the Clamp, again.
12. Insert the assembly part of Feeding Valve Connecting Tube (14) into the assembly part of
Glass Feeding Valve (1).

13. Insert the Glass Feeding Valve with the Feeding Valve Connecting Tube mounted into the
Condenser. The Connecting hose should be inserted into the Glass Rotary Bottle.
14. If turning the lower bar of Main Body toward FREE or LOCK, it is possible to move the lift of
Main Body. If turning the bar toward FREE, the height of Main Body is lifted, and then if
turning toward Lock after adjusting to the desired height by the user, the Main Body is fixed
at that height. When adjusting the bar toward FREE side, since the Main Body is
automatically moved upward, be careful so that the accident caused by sudden movement
is not occurred, and please hold the top of the main body with your hand very hard and
adjust.

15. The height of two steps can be adjusted with the screw at right middle part of Main Body.
Adjust the height by pulling upward or pushing downward the head of Main Body, after
loosening the tightened condition by turning the screw as shown in Figure. Maintain the
position by tightening the screw after adjusting to proper height that the user wants.
16. The screw adjustable the tilt of Main Body Head is installed behind the regulator of Main
Body. Fix the position by turning the handle again after loosening the fixed screw by turning
the handle as shown in Figure and then adjusting to the tilt that the user want.
(Slightly highly set up the axis of Main Body before adjusting the tilt, and then please adjust
the tilt. If the height of the axis is low adjusted, the engagement of the product can be
occurred.)

17. Install the Vacuum Nozzle (13) of assembly components in the entrance of the Condenser
as shown in Figure.
Adjust and install the tightening part at the mounting portion of three places of the Vacuum
Nozzle in the Condenser.
18. Check whether all the assembly components are correctly put together.

1. The assembling of this product is proceeded by the same method as WEV-1001L model.
Please, assemble the Glass Condenser Bracket securing the Condenser, after assembling the
Condenser by paying attention to the point that the shape of the Condenser is differ from
the those of the model.
Check the device tightening the Bracket rod behind the assembling part of Condenser in the
Main Body as shown in the Figure.
2. After checking the components as shown in above Picture, insert the rod part of Glass
Condenser Bracket into the Main Body, and please, tighten the setscrew, after checking that
the position of the rubber band wrapping the Condenser is appropriate.

3. Tighten the setscrew and then fix the rubber band Bracket securing the Condenser.
Manipulate so that the Condenser is wound by the rubber band, and then please, assemble
the locking device as shown in the Picture.
4. Check whether all the assembly components are correctly put together.

3. Product Usage
3.1 Precautions for Use
Please be familiar with the user manual before using this product, and operation
should be performed only by qualified personnel.
Please never tilt or lay the product doing during transportation, which the
function of mounted cooling-related devices can be degraded, and problems can
be result.
Install the product in a place where the floor is hard and flat. Failure to do so
can cause accidents. by negligence.
This product should be connected to a appropriate power source that it is
generally used.
Please use a lower power source than the regulation load permitted (AC 230V,
50/60Hz, Single-phase).
 Warnings
- Please observe the following precautions.
This product should be operated in a room with temperature maintain between
5℃ and 40 .℃ Long-term use in an environment that exceeds the allowable range
may cause a malfunction.
Please do not damage or distress the power cord. (Please do not hurt on the
power cord, or process it, or force bend it, or pull it, and tie it.) Also, if heavy
objects are placed over the power cord, or the power cord is inserted in between
objects, the power cord can be damaged and may cause fire or electric shock.
Please do not directly spray water on the product or wash it with water, to avoid
short circuits or electric shock.
Please do not touch or manipulate the electrical parts such as the power plug with
wet hands electric shock.
Please keep a human body away from this product when this product is operating

Please do not adjust and move the tilt and the height of axes of the glass product
such as Condenser and Bottle during operation.
Please do not operate in the condition that explosive or flammable chemicals
(alcohol, benzene and other flammable solvent) are put inside the Bath.
