This light xture requires 4x1.5V D cell batteries power source.
Some codes require installation by a qualied electrician.
This light xture should be installed outdoors to a wall or eave.
The light xture should be mounted approximately 8 ft. (2.4 m) above the ground. If the light xture is mounted
higher than recommended, aiming the sensor down will reduce the coverage area. .

2BATTERY INSTALLATION
Step 1.Remove the front cover of the lamp head (A) by rotating the face counterclockwise. Pull the face out from
the housing to reveal the battery holder.
Step 2. A) To release the battery door, rmly press down on the door tabs simultaneously.
B) Insert 4 D-cell batteries (not included) into the light. Ensure the batteries are inserted so that the at ends are
making contact with the springs.
C) Attach the battery (not include) door by matching the tabs to the rectangular holes and then push down on the
door until it clicks into place.
Step 3. Line up arrows then turn the face of the light clockwise. Make sure the unit is closed by twisting until the
arrow symbol is pointing past the lock symbol to ensure weatherproof seal is tight.

NOTE:
• Do not mix old and new batteries. If batteries are not new, it may cause the light to malfunction.
• Install batteries with polarity in correct position.
• Light may activate when batteries are inserted. Simply take light into a dark room. Allow batteries to settle, then test activation.
• If your light will not turn off, it means that it is time to replace the batteries.
Use only new alkaline D-Cell batteries with 1.5V rating.

3Mounting the light fixture
Step 1. Remove the mounting base (C) by turning the thumbscrew counterclockwise. Lift the lamp head (A) out
of the mounting base (C) and set aside.
Step 2. A) Determine the mounting location and mark the pilot holes. Use a drill bit to create the pilot holes (if
mounting to drywall, use the drywall anchors included with the screws). Use a hammer to tap the anchors(AA)
into the pilot holes, before screwing in the mounting base(C).
B)Drill the screws(BB) through the holes on mounting base(C). Insert the stem of the light back into mounting
base(C) and tighten the thumbscrew.
Step 3. Loosen the knuckle screw located on the stem of the light to point the light in desired direction. Then
tighten the screw to secure position.

4Adjusting the lamp head
If needed, gently grasp the lamp head (A) and tilt it up or down or side to side to adjust the light coverage area.
WARNING: Risk of re. Keep the lamp head at least 2 in. from combustible materials.
