1. Projector Firmware Upgrade Setup
NOTE: Projector firmware upgrades set are the same for the 1510X and 1610HD models.
Part A: Install the Dell Flasher Tool on Your Computer
1. Please follow your computer operating system to select flasher version.
You may find the setup file in the Flasher 2.0_xx folder created after downloading and
unzipping or extracting the .zip file.
Win 8.1, Win 8, Win 7, Vista, and XP 32-bit OS: Please install Flasher 2.0_32 bit version
Win 8.1, Win 8, Win 7, Vista, and XP 64-bit OS: Please install Flasher 2.0_64 bit version
NOTE: Dell Flasher tool does not support Mac OS.
2. Double-click Setup.exe from downloaded Flasher_v2.0_32 or 64bit FW folder.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and find the installed flasher on
Start menu.
NOTE: You only need to install the “Dell Flasher Tool” once.

Part B: Enter Download Mode and Install the USB driver on Your Computer
4. Plug in the power cord and perform following steps to enter download mode.
NOTE: Please DON’T press power button to turn on the projector when entering download
mode.
Step A: Press the Menu button and hold it.
Step B: Continuously hold the Menu button and press the Power button simultaneously.
Step C: Release the buttons after Temp and Error LED LEDs are both lighted up.
5. Connect the USB (type A to B) cable to the projector and the computer.
NOTE:
a. If Windows XP pop-up this diagram, please click Cancel. Windows 7/8/8.1 OS does not
pop-up this diagram.
Step A. Press and hold the
“Menu” button.
Step B. Press the “Power”
button for a second.

b. If Window 7/8/8.1 32-bit or 64-bit OS pop-up this diagram, please click Install. Windows
XP does not pop-up this diagram.

Part C: Launch the Dell Flasher Tool to Upgrade Projector Firmware
NOTE: Please keep the projector in download mode as step 4.
6. Execute the Dell Flasher: Start All Programs Dell Flasher 2.0 Flasher
7. Dell Flasher is executing and please check USB status is Connected before upgrade
firmware.
NOTE: If Window 7/8/8.1 32-bit or 64-bit OS pop-up this diagram, please click Install.
Windows XP does not pop-up this diagram.
NOTE: You only need to install the “Jungo driver” once.
8. Follow these steps to upgrade firmware:
Step A: Click “Browse” to find the firmware (*.img) from downloaded Projector FW folder.
Step B: Click “DownLoad” to pop-up the dialog.
Step C: Click “YES” to start the upgrade projector firmware.

Step D: Start to Erasing projector.
Step E: Download and upgrade firmware.
WARNING: When you are in downloading mode, PLEASE do not press the keyboard.
Step F: Firmware completed, press “OK” and plug out the USB cable from projector.
9. Unplug and re-plug in the power cord to turn on 1510X or 1610HD projector.
NOTE: If you have installed Dell Flasher Tool once, you may skip steps 1~ 3, and only
proceed steps 4~9 afterward to upgrade the projector firmware.

2. Network Firmware Upgrade Setup
NOTE: Network firmware upgrades set are the same for the 1510X and 1610HD models.
NOTE: Network firmware upgrades steps are the same for the Win OS and Mac OS.
Part A: Enable Network on the Projector
1. Connect the power cable and turn on the projector by pressing the power button.
2. Follow these steps to re-active Network feature when the Network is Off: SET UP →Network
→On.

Part B: Connect Your Computer to the Projector and Login Web Management
3. Connect the LAN cable to the projector and the computer.
4. Open and enter the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) on your computer, please enter IP address and
Subnet mask, then click OK.
5. Open the Internet browser on your computer, and enter the 10.0.50.100 in the browser’s
address bar. You will be directed to the 1510X or 1610HD Web Management page.

Part C: Upgrade Network Firmware
6. The 1510X or 1610HD web management page opens. Click Firmware Update.
7. Click Update.
8. Follow these steps to upgrade firmware:
Step A: Click “Browse” to first find the firmware (*.bin) from downloaded Network FW
folder.

Step B: Click “Update” to start the upgrade firmware.
Step C: Download and upgrade firmware.
Step D: Firmware completed, click “Re Login” to go back to the Web Management Home
Page.
