INTENDED USER PROFILE:
The intended user should be a licensed medical professional, the patient or the
patient’s caregiver. The user should be able to read, understand and be physically
capable of performing all the directions, warnings and cautions provided in the
information for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS: The Procare One Piece cervical collar is designed
to stabilize and relieve the cervical spine and may be suitable for the symptomatic
relief of pain and stiffness in the cervical spine area following patient trauma or
injury. It may help to minimize neck pain and discomfort. For further details please
consult your prescribing physician.
Providing immobilization or controlled movement of the limb or body segment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the materials
contained within this product.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
This product is to be prescribed and fitted by a physician.
Do not use over open wounds.
Do not use the device if it is damaged and/or the packaging has been opened.
The collar should be snug but not tight enough to cause excessive pressure, pain
or difficulty breathing or swallowing.
If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while using
this product, you should contact a medical professional immediately.
There could be difficulties with Laryngoscopy when collars are used and the device
may have to be removed.
NOTE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious
incident arising due to usage of this device.
SUPINE POSITION APPLICATION:
A. Slide the back portion of the collar behind the patient’s neck. When loop Velcro® can
be seen, position the chin support and attach Velcro® strap
B. Before attaching the Velcro® strap, make certain the patient’s head and the collar are
in proper alignment. If chin is not sufficiently supported, tighten collar. If additional
tightening results in patient extension, select smaller size.
SEATED POSITION APPLICATION:
A. Be sure patient’s head is in neutral alignment while applying the collar. The patient’s
chin should be securely supported by the molded chin piece.
B. Before attaching the Velcro® strap, make certain the patient’s head and the collar Bare
in proper alignment. If chin is not sufficiently supported, tighten collar. If additional
tightening results in patient extension, select smaller size.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash in warm water using mild soap. Allow to air dry at room temperature.

WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its
accessories for material or workmanship defects for a period of six months from
the date of sale. To the extent the terms of this warranty are inconsistent with
local regulations, the provisions of such local regulations will apply.

USO PREVISTO/INDICACIONES: El collarín cervical de una pieza Procare está

ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES:

No utilice el dispositivo si está dañado y/o si el empaque está abierto.
El collarín debe estar ajustado pero no lo suficientemente apretado como para
causar una presión excesiva, dolor o dificultad para respirar o tragar.
Si sufre algún dolor, inflamación, alteración de la sensación o cualquier otra
reacción poco frecuente al utilizar este producto, póngase en contacto con su
médico inmediatamente.
Puede haber dificultades con laringoscopia cuando se utilizan collarines y es
posible que haya que retirar el dispositivo.
NOTA: Comuníquese con el fabricante y la autoridad competente en caso de un
incidente grave que surja debido al uso de este dispositivo.
APLICACIÓN EN POSICI ÓN SUPINA:
A. Deslice la parte posterior del collar detrás del cuello del paciente. Cuando se pueda
ver el cierre tipo Velcro®, coloque en posición el apoyo de barbilla y fije la correa
Velcro®.
B. Antes de fijar la correa Velcro®, compruebe que la cabeza del paciente y el collar
tengan la alineación apropiada. Si la barbilla no tiene suficiente apoyo, apriete el collar.
Si al apretarlo más se causa una extensión en el paciente, seleccione un collar de
menor tamaño.
APLICACIÓN EN POSICI ÓN SENTA DA:
A. Asegúrese de que la cabeza del paciente tenga una alineación neutra al aplicar el collar.
La barbilla del paciente debe estar firmemente apoyada en la pieza moldeada de sostén
para la barbilla.
B. Antes de sujetar la correa Velcro® compruebe que la cabeza del paciente y el collar
tengan la alineación apropiada. Si la barbilla no tiene suficiente apoyo, apriete el collar.
Si al apretarlo más se causa una extensión en el paciente, seleccione un collar de
menor tamaño.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA:
Lave el collar a mano con jabón suave en agua tibia. Permita que se seque al aire a
temperatura ambiente. NO LO LAVE A MÁQUINA. SÉQUELO AL AIRE ÚNICAMENTE.
GARANTÍA: DJO, LLC se compromete a reparar o sustituir la totalidad o parte del
producto y sus accesorios, por defectos del material o de la fabricación, durante
los seis meses siguientes a la fecha de venta. Si los términos de esta garantía son
incompatibles con la normativa local, se aplicarán las disposiciones de la normativa
local.

ANWENDERPROFIL:
Das Produkt ist für zugelassene medizinische Fachkräfte, Patienten oder
Pflegekräfte des Patienten bestimmt. Der Anwender sollte in der Lage sein, alle
Anweisungen, Warnungen und Vorsichtshinweise in den Gebrauchsinformationen
zu lesen, zu verstehen und körperlich in der Lage sein, diese auszuführen.
VERWENDUNGSZWECK/INDIKATIONEN: Die einteilige Procare
Halskrause dient zur Stabilisierung und Entlastung der Halswirbelsäule und
kann für die symptomatische Linderung von Schmerzen und Steifheit im
Halswirbelsäulenbereich nach Traumata oder Verletzungen des Patienten geeignet
sein. Sie kann helfen, Nackenschmerzen und Unwohlsein zu minimieren. Weitere
Informationen erhalten Sie von Ihrem verschreibenden Arzt.
Zur Ruhigstellung oder kontrollierten Bewegung der Extremität oder des
Körperabschnitts.
KONTRAINDIKATIONEN: Nicht verwenden, wenn Sie auf einen der in diesem
Produkt enthaltenen Stoffe allergisch sind.
WARNHINWEISE UND VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN:
Dieses Produkt muss von einer medizinischen Fachkraft verschrieben und
angebracht werden.
Nicht auf offenen Wunden verwenden.
Das Produkt nicht verwenden, wenn es beschädigt ist und/oder die Verpackung
geöffnet wurde.
Die Halskrause sollte eng aber nicht zu straff anliegen, um dabei keinen
übermäßigen Druck, Schmerzen oder Schwierigkeiten beim Atmen oder Schlucken
zu verursachen.
Wenn bei der Verwendung dieses Produkts Schmerzen, Schwellungen,
Empfindungsänderungen oder andere ungewöhnliche Reaktionen auftreten,
nehmen Sie bitte sofort Kontakt mit einer medizinischen Fachkraft auf.
Bei der Laryngoskopie können Schwierigkeiten auftreten, wenn Kragen verwendet
werden. Der Kragen muss möglicherweise entfernt werden.
HINWEIS: Den Hersteller und die zuständige Behörde benachrichtigen, falls
es durch die Verwendung dieses Produkts zu einem schwerwiegenden Vorfall
kommt.
ANLEGEN DER BANDAGE IN RÜCKENLAGE:
A. Schieben Sie den hinteren Teil der Stütze hinter den Hals des Patienten. Wenn
Sie die Velcro®-Öse sehen, positionieren Sie die Kinnstütze, und fixieren Sie das
Velcro®-Band.
B. Vergewissern Sie sich zuvor aber, dass der Kopf des Patienten und die Stütze korrekt
ausgerichtet sind. Wird das Kinn nicht ausreichend gestützt, ziehen Sie die Stütze fest.
Resultiert das Festziehen der Stütze in einer Extension des Patienten, müssen Sie die
Stütze in einer kleineren Größe verwenden.
ANLEGEN DER BANDAGE IN SITZENDER POSITION:
A. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Kopf des Patienten sich beim Anlegen der Stütze in
einer neutralen Position befindet. Das Kinn des Patienten sollte durch das entsprechend
geformte Kinnteil sicher gestützt werden.
B. Vergewissern Sie sich zuvor aber, dass der Kopf des Patienten und die Stütze korrekt
ausgerichtet sind. Wird das Kinn nicht ausreichend gestützt, ziehen Sie die Stütze fest.
Resultiert das Festziehen der Stütze in einer Extension des Patienten, müssen Sie die
Stütze in einer kleineren Größe verwenden.
REINIGUNGSHINWEISE:
Handwäsche in warmer, milder Seifenlauge. Stütze bei Raumtemperatur
lufttrocknen. NICHT IN DER WASCHMASCHINE WASCHEN. NUR
LUFTTROCKNEN.
GARANTIE: DJO, LLC garantiert bei Material- oder Herstellungsdefekten die
Reparatur bzw. den Austausch des kompletten Produktes oder eines Teils des
Produktes und aller zugehörigen Zubehörteile für einen Zeitraum von sechs
Monaten ab dem Verkaufsdatum. Falls und insoweit die Bedingungen dieser
Gewährleistung nicht den örtlichen Bestimmungen entsprechen, gelten die
Vorschriften dieser örtlichen Bestimmungen.

fornite nelle istruzioni per l’uso.
USO PREVISTO/INDICAZIONI: il collare cervicale Procare One Piece è progettato
per stabilizzare e dare sollievo alla regione cervicale della colonna vertebrale e può
essere adatto per il sollievo sintomatico del dolore e della rigidità nella regione
cervicale della colonna vertebrale a seguito di trauma o lesione del paziente.
Può aiutare a ridurre al minimo dolore e fastidio al collo. Per ulteriori dettagli
consultare il medico curante.
Fornisce immobilizzazione o movimento controllato dell’arto o del segmento del
corpo.
CONTROINDICAZIONI: non utilizzare se allergici a uno qualsiasi dei materiali
contenuti in questo prodotto.
AVVERTENZE E PRECAUZIONI:
Questo prodotto deve essere prescritto e applicato da un medico.
Non usare su ferite aperte.
Non usare il dispositivo se risulta danneggiato e/o se la confezione è stata aperta.
Il collare deve essere aderente, ma non eccessivamente stretto da causare una
pressione eccessiva, dolore o difficoltà di respirazione o deglutizione.
In caso di dolore, gonfiore, variazioni di sensibilità o altre reazioni insolite durante
l’uso del prodotto, contattare immediatamente un medico.
Durante l’esecuzione della laringoscopia potrebbe essere necessario rimuovere il
collare per evitare l’insorgenza di alcune difficoltà.
NOTA: contattare il produttore e l’autorità competente in caso di gravi incidenti
dovuti all’uso di questo dispositivo.
APPLICAZIONE IN POSIZIONE SUPINA:
A. Appoggiare la parte posteriore del collare alla nuca del paziente. Quando il Velcro®
risulta visibile, posizionare la mentoniera e fissare lo strap Velcro®.
B. Prima di fissare lo strap, assicurarsi che la testa del paziente e il collare siano allineati
correttamente. Se il mento non viene sostenuto adeguatamente, stringere il collare.
Se stringendo ulteriormente sia ha una trazione eccessiva, scegliere una misura più
piccola.
APPLICAZIONE DA SEDUTI:
A. Durante l’applicazione, la testa del paziente deve essere allineata. Il mento del paziente
deve essere sostenuto saldamente dall’apposita mentoniera.
B. Prima di fissare lo strap, assicurarsi che la testa del paziente e il collare siano allineati
correttamente. Se il mento non viene sostenuto adeguatamente, stringere il collare.
Se stringendo ulteriormente sia ha una trazione eccessiva, scegliere una misura più
piccola.
ISTRUZIONI PER LA PULIZIA: lavare a mano in acqua tiepida con sapone
neutro. Asciugare all’aria a temperatura ambiente. NON LAVARE A MACCHINA.
ASCIUGARE ALL’ARIA.
GARANZIA: DJO, LLC s’impegna alla riparazione o alla sostituzione di tutti i
componenti del dispositivo e dei relativi accessori in caso di difetti di lavorazione
o materiali, rinvenuti entro sei mesi dalla data di acquisto. Nella misura in cui
i termini della presente garanzia non risultino conformi alle normative locali,
risulteranno applicabili le disposizioni di queste ultime.

PROFIL DE L’UTILISATEUR PRÉVU:
Le produit s’adresse à un professionnel de santé agréé, au patient ou à
l’aide-soignant qui prodigue des soins au patient. L’utilisateur doit être capable de
lire et de comprendre l’ensemble des instructions, avertissements et précautions
qui figurent dans le mode d’emploi, et il doit être physiquement apte à les
respecter.
UTILISATION PRÉVUE/INDICATIONS: Le collier cervical en une pièce Procare
est conçu pour stabiliser et soulager le rachis cervical et peut être adapté au
soulagement symptomatique de la douleur et de la raideur dans la zone cervicale
à la suite d’un traumatisme ou d’une blessure du patient. Il peut être utile de
minimiser les douleurs et la gêne au niveau du cou. Pour plus de détails, veuillez
consulter votre médecin prescripteur.
Il permet une immobilisation ou un mouvement contrôlé du membre ou du
segment corporel.
CONTRE-INDICATIONS: Ne pas l’utiliser si vous êtes allergique à l’un des
matériaux contenus dans ce produit.
AVERTISSEMENTS ET PRÉCAUTIONS:
Ce produit doit être prescrit et ajusté par un médecin.
Ne pas l’utiliser sur une plaie ouverte.
Ne pas utiliser le dispositif s’il est endommagé et/ou si l’emballage a été ouvert.
Le collier doit se porter au plus près du corps, sans être trop serré pour provoquer
une pression excessive, des douleurs ou des difficultés respiratoires ou de
déglutition.
En cas de douleur, d’enflure, d’altération de la sensation ou d’autres réactions
anormales lors de l’utilisation de ce produit, contacter immédiatement un
professionnel de santé.
La laryngoscopie peut être difficile à réaliser chez un patient porteur d’un collier, et
nécessiter le retrait du dispositif.
REMARQUE: Contacter le fabricant et l’autorité compétente en cas d’incident
grave résultant de l’utilisation de ce produit.
MISE EN PLACE EN POSITION COUCHÉE:
A. Assurez-vous que la tête du patient présente un alignement neutre lors de la mise en
place du collet. Le menton du patient doit être bien soutenu par le support de menton
moulé.
B. Avant de fixer la sangle Velcro®, assurez-vous que la tête du patient est bien alignée
avec le collet. Si le menton n’est pas suffisamment soutenu, resserrez le collet. Si le
fait de resserrer provoque l’extension du cou du patient, choisissez une taille de collet
inférieure.
MISE EN PLACE EN POSITION ASSISE:
A. Assurez-vous que la tête du patient présente un alignement neutre lors de la mise en
place du collet. Le menton du patient doit être bien soutenu par le support de menton
moulé.
B. Avant de fixer la sangle Velcro®, assurez-vous que la tête du patient est bien alignée
avec le collet. Si le menton n’est pas suffisamment soutenu, resserrez le collet. Si le
fait de resserrer provoque l’extension du cou du patient, choisissez une taille de collet
inférieure.
INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE: Laver à la main et à l’eau chaude, avec du
savon doux. Laissez sécher à l’air libre à température ambiante. NE PAS LAVER À
LA MACHINE. SÉCHAGE À L’AIR LIBRE UNIQUEMENT.
GARANTIE: DJO, LLC réparera ou remplacera tout ou une partie de l’unité et de
ses accessoires en cas de vice de matériau ou de fabrication pendant une période
de sixmois à partir de la date d’achat.Si les conditions de cette garantie sont
incompatibles avec la réglementation locale, les dispositions des réglementations
locales s’appliquent.
